Reply to sshd-keygen-wrapper permissions problem
As others have noted, this is still present in the macOS 26.2 Release Candidate. Given that, it’s very likely to remain unfixed in the final release of macOS 26.2 )-: and I recommend that you plan accordingly. Beyond that, I still have no specific info to share. But, as always, it’s a good idea to test with new betas of macOS as and when we seed them. Reply to Multipeer Communication via Bluetooth Only
Multipeer Connectivity hasn’t worked over Bluetooth for 10-ish years. On modern systems its peer-to-peer support is based entirely on peer-to-peer Wi-Fi. Historically, Multipeer Connectivity wasn’t the only option for accessing peer-to-peer Bluetooth. Even after peer-to-peer Bluetooth was no longer enabled by default, you could still access it via lower-level APIs or an explicit opt in [1]. However, that’s not been the case for a long while also. At some point we disabled the opt in [2] and eventually we removed the implementation entirely. My general advice is that you: Not use Multipeer Connectivity at all. See Moving from Multipeer Connectivity to Network Framework Forget about peer-to-peer Bluetooth, and rely on either peer-to-peer Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Aware. However, I wanted to address your case specifically:
We have a requirement for device-to-device communication … without requiring Wi-Fi connectivity. Reply to ExtensionFoundation/ExtensionKit across app boundary
Has the functionality been walked back such that extensions can only be loaded in iOS from within the single app bundle?
I wouldn’t say “walked back” because full ExtensionKit support was never a feature of iOS. Well, I guess you could considered it to be walked back relative to macOS… Anyway, see my replies on this thread for the current state of affairs.
What's the best way to achieve this?
There’s no way to achieve that goal for native code. If you’re willing to entertain the idea of non-native code then you have various options, the most obvious being: Support JavaScript via JavaScriptCore. Support Wasm with your own runtime [1]. Keep in mind, however, that this is only the technical side of this coin. On the business side, I want to be clear that I don’t work for App Review and thus can’t give definitive answers about this policy. I recommend that you review thei

Enhanced Security Capability < iOS 26
Hi, After enabling the new Enhanced Security capability in Xcode 26, I’m seeing install failures on devices running < iOS 26. Deployment target: iOS 15.0 Capability: Enhanced Security (added via Signing & Capabilities tab) Building to iOS 18 device error - Unable to Install ...Please ensure sure that your app is signed by a valid provisioning profile. It works fine on iOS 26 devices. I’d like to confirm Apple’s intent here: Is this capability formally supported only on iOS 26 and later, and therefore incompatible with earlier OS versions? Or should older systems ignore the entitlement, meaning this behavior might be a bug?

ExtensionKit and iOS 26
It looks like ExtensionKit (and ExtensionFoundation) is fully available on iOS 26 but there is no mention about this in WWDC. From my testing, it seems as of beta 1, ExtensionKit allows the app from one dev team to launch extension provided by another dev team. Before we start building on this, can someone from Apple help confirm this is the intentional behavior and not just beta 1 thing?

Reply to Help
No one here can help you. If you can't uninstall the profiles yourself (have you even tried? you don't actually say), then go to an Apple Store and ask for help there. These are the Developer Forums, where developers of third-party apps for Apple's platforms ask each other for hints and tips on coding. You're in the wrong place.

Help
I am facing a serious and ongoing security breach affecting all of my devices. An unauthorized developer has gained access and installed development profiles without my consent, compromising my privacy and the integrity of my data. I am requesting immediate action to: 1. Secure all my accounts and devices. 2. Remove all unauthorized development profiles, configurations, and code associated with my devices. 3. Revoke every suspicious provisioning or signing certificate linked to my devices. 4. Completely eliminate any programming, scripts, or embedded code connected to the following accounts: • • 5. Remove any unauthorized code or developer associations tied to my company website: header 1 These certificates and configurations should not be recognized or accepted by Apple under any circumstance. Apple is a reputable and highly trusted company, and I am confident it does not tolerate any form of misconduct that compromises user security or allows developers to exploit devices, inject code, or

Notarization hangs forever
I've been trying to have an app I've built notarized by Apple. The processing hangs there for hours just waiting. I even tried with a tiny 1KB test file, it has been stuck for 25+ minutes, and I have 7 real submissions stuck for 24+ hours. Any Apple representative can help please? I need to publish and release my app asap.

Reply to Age Range API - Sandbox Testing Available
One thing I have noticed about the sandbox testing account is that it will still return the value of false for AgeRangeService.shared.isEligibleForAgeFeatures even if you have a valid scenario selected from the developer menu, if you happen to be signed into your sandbox account via the standard iCloud sign in flow (like how one would for Apple Pay sandbox accounts) You must make sure you are not signed into your sandbox account anywhere else on the test device other than in the developer settings.

Changing Frame Rate of External Display on iPad
Hello, As far as I know and in all of my testing there is no way for a user or a developer to change the frame rate of the video output on iPadOS. If you connect an iPad via a USB Hub or a USB to HDMI Adaptor and then connect it to an external monitor it will output at 59.94fps. I have a video app where a user monitors live video at 25fps and 30fps, they often output to an external display and there are times when the external display will stutter due to the mismatch in frame rate, ie. using 25fps and outputting at 59.94fps. I thought it was impossible to change the video output frame rate, then in V3.1 of the Blackmagic Camera App I saw an interesting change in their release notes: ‘Support for HDMI Monitoring at Sensor Rate and Resolution’ This means there is some way to modify it, not sure if this is done via a Private API that Apple has allowed Blackmagic to use. If so, how can we access this or is there a way to enable this that is undocumented? Thanks!
