Apple Watch: Restarts and overheating after watchOS 26.3 update
Hi there, I’ve been having ongoing issues with my Apple Watch. Last week I updated it to watchOS 26.3. The next day it accidentally ran out of battery, and since then it has been randomly restarting, showing an overheating message. I suspected it might be related to the update, so I researched online and on the official Apple forums. People recommended resetting the Apple Watch and unpairing it from my iPhone. I did both procedures, but the problem persists, even when the watch is in a cool environment. I’ve been using it normally, but it still restarts multiple times a day. Yesterday I even updated to the public beta of watchOS 26.4 hoping it would fix the issue, but it didn’t help — the random restarting continues. Today I also unpaired and paired it again with my iPhone, and the problem is still happening. This has been very disruptive and frustrating. I’m following up on my previous message because I’ve found additional diagnostic information that may help identify the cause of the issue

Developer Mode without PC
My phone's charging port is fried. It only charges wirelessly. Fixing it costs the same as the phone. I currently am having a lot of issues enrolling for apple developer program as well, so I can't use test flight right now. I want to enable developer mode on my phone, but it's never been connected to xcode before, so the option is not available. How do I enable developer mode without being able to connect it to a pc? I have a mac, and both my mac and iphone are on the same apple id. thank you

Reply to Apple watch Xcode pairing & connection issues
Thanks again for reporting the issue. It seems that the issue is impacting the community, but I haven't seen any feedback report ID posted here. Do folks have any feedback report yet? If not, would you mind to file one and share your report ID here? I understand that filing an actionable feedback report takes time, but that will help. I am trying to capture the issue, and yet, my current configuration, Xcode 26.2 (17C52) + iPhone 17 Pro with iOS 26.3 (23D127) + Apple Watch series 10 with watchOS 26.3 (23S620), does work for me. Reply to LaunchAgent (Mac) as peripheral doesn't show a pairing request.
Since my original post, I have a gui launch agent now that acts as a bluetooth peripheral. While it doesn't present a window, it does present a system menu bar item. I have added the AssociatedBundleIdentifiers in my plists used by my SMAppService.agent call. My launch agent advertises a service with a characteristic that uses notifyEncryptionRequired. After these changes, my iPhone app still gets this error when calling setNotifyValue: Error Domain=CBATTErrorDomain Code=15 Encryption is insufficient. The error is reported in the didUpdateNotificationStateFor delegate callback.

Organization enrollment stuck, no response since Feb 6
I’m enrolling a small studio (EU, Slovakia) and the portal has been stuck on “Your enrollment is being processed”. I’m currently blocked from shipping builds via App Store Connect, and the lack of any accept/reject decision is starting to impact day-to-day work and planning. If an Apple Staff member can’t review the case details here, could you please route this to the enrollment verification team so they can provide a clear accept/reject decision on the passport photos already uploaded? Actions completed: Feb 3: Uploaded passport photos via the secure upload link following the requested photo requirements. Feb 6: Replied from the correct Apple Account email as instructed. Since Feb 6 there has been no confirmation whether the passport photos are accepted or rejected, and no next-step owner. I also submitted two separate support requests in the portal (email-only, no phone/chat option shown) and received no response. Request: Please confirm whether the passport photos are accepted or rejected. If rej

iMessage Extension: didSelect not called when tapping message bubbles on iPad
I'm developing a turn-based Messages game extension and experiencing a persistent issue on iPad where tapping on message bubbles does not reliably trigger lifecycle callbacks after the extension has been used once. The Problem: On iPad, after a player: Opens the extension by tapping a game message Takes their turn (plays a card) Sends the updated game state as a new message Extension collapses When the opponent sends their response and the player taps on the new message bubble, the extension often does not open. The didSelect(_:conversation:) method is not called. The user must refresh the conversation by scrolling away and back or reopening the Messages App before tapping works again. This works perfectly on iPhone - every tap on a message bubble reliably triggers didSelect and opens the extension. What I've Tried: I've implemented every lifecycle method and workaround I could find: swiftoverride func willBecomeActive(with conversation: MSConversation) { super.willBecomeActive(with: conversation) if

Reply to iMessage Extension: didSelect not called when tapping message bubbles on iPad
Thank you for the great description with code and steps and going over the devices. I do not think there is a bug in that iPad as far as I can tell, so may I ask you to do something to verify? Do you get the same results with just the relevant code in a small test project? If so, please share a link to your test project. That'll help us better understand what's going on. If you're not familiar with preparing a test project, take a look at Creating a test project. On your focused sample should be very simple so can be run on iPhone and iPad with the same code where the didSelect(_:conversation:) method doesn't behave as expected when a message is tapped multiple times without a different message being selected in between. Looking forward to see if you found something interesting! Albert Pascual

iOS 13 PushKit VoIP restrictions breaking SIP VoIP apps
Hi,We are a fairly large company providing smartphone and desktop applications for VoIP/UC together with PBX systems, on-premise as well as clourd offerings. All our app are talking to the telephony servers over SIP.Up unitl now, our flow on iOS was:Receive PushKit VoIP notificationREGISTER towards telephony serverReceive INVITEreportIncomingCallWith the changes enforced and outlined in https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/wwdc2019/707/, the whole SIP concept will break. We are now forced to report an incoming call so early that the user might accept the call before the REGISTER has completed and an INVITE has been received which will lead to a pretty bad user experience.Even worse, we will report an incoming call even if there is no actual call. This might happen as the call has already been canceled on the remote end and we won't get an INVITE. Or if the registration fails due to network issues that prevents us from reaching the telephony server. How does Apple expect us to deal with these situations? It's

Issue related to APNS is delivering expired voip push notification.
Hi, am facing an issue related to voip push notifications getting delivered 1-2 hours after apns-expiration to 0 and apns-priority to 10. I had raised a similar post got a reply that it may be due to network delay. But network delay can cause the delivery of voip push to be delayed only by few seconds or minutes. But in our case voip push is getting delivered hours after the voip call was attempted. Steps to reproduce: Put our voip app in background and lock iPhone. As app is put in background, socket connections gets disconnected from server. Now if a caller makes call to this app, the call should be delivered through voip push. 2) Voip push should ideally be received even if app is in background and iPhone is locked. It is connected to a good wifi network. But it does not receive the voip push. 3) After 1-2 hours user unlocks iPhone and opens voip app. As soon as user opens app, the voip push is received and phone starts ringing.

What is it so hard to develop on the Watch?
I am trying to develop a Watch and iOS app as companion. It is beyond stupid how I can not keep the watch connected to Xcode to develop. I have tried all the so-called tricks. Why is this so fragile? The phone is USB connected to my Mac I have tried turning off the wifi on my Mac and have the phone and watch on the same network. Nada I have tried just having everything on the same network. The watch is connected maybe 20% of the time. I have tried creating a hotspot network with my phone. The watch is connected maybe 50% of the time. This is truly an awful experience. Am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be grateful.

Reply to Fix text in accessory view
I attempted to reproduce the bug in UIKit, but it works correctly there. Notice how the Tab Bar and the accessory view change color simultaneously. final class ViewController: UITabBarController { override func viewDidLoad() { super.viewDidLoad() let firstVC = FirstTabVC() firstVC.tabBarItem = UITabBarItem( title: first, image: UIImage(systemName: 1.circle), tag: 0 ) let secondVC = SecondTabVC() secondVC.tabBarItem = UITabBarItem( title: second, image: UIImage(systemName: 2.circle), tag: 1 ) viewControllers = [firstVC, secondVC] setupBottomAccessory() } func setupBottomAccessory() { let titleLabel = UILabel() titleLabel.text = Title let iconView = UIImageView(image: UIImage(systemName: play.fill)) iconView.preferredSymbolConfiguration = .init(pointSize: 20, weight: .semibold) iconView.tintColor = .label iconView.contentMode = .scaleAspectFit let stackView = UIStackView(arrangedSubviews: [titleLabel, iconView]) stackView.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false let accessoryView = UIView() accessoryVi

Apple Support Not Responding
Hello. I just got my developer account and my legal entity on my account has a mistake. My last name is spelled wrong. I have sent 3 emails to support about this and for the past week i have zero response to this issue. Can someone advise me on this? The ability to reach anybody from support is ridiculous for something that we can access only after payment especially. I even called apple business program with this and person on the phone said they will try to take to the supervisor but its not their department which i of course know but it was worth a shot to call. What more can i do? I didnt make a mistake when creating my account it was the system that didn’t recognize the letter. Such a stupid and frustrating issue and no response from apple, nada. how long am i suppose to wait?
