App Review Needed? - US External Payments: Dynamic Switch to Stripe
My app uses Apple IAP. With the recent US external payment changes (May 2025), I plan to use Stripe via Superwall. Superwall allows me to remotely toggle my paywall for US users between Apple IAP and Stripe checkout without a new app build. Is it permissible to activate Stripe for new US users on an already live app version (approved with only Apple IAP) without first submitting a new build for Apple to review the Stripe integration? Or does this dynamic switch create a risk of takedown/compliance problems? Concerned about new users hitting an unreviewed Stripe flow during any potential review period for a new build. Seeking clarity on Apple's stance or community experiences. Thanks!

App stuck 'In Review' over 72+ hours
My app has been stuck 'in review' for 72+ hours. The last thing i got from the App Review team was an email saying "One or more In-App Purchases has been returned." This was the second time i've gotten this email. I feel like the people reviewing my app stops after testing my paywall and doesn't proceed with reviewing the rest of the app. Previously, i had an issue (which has been since solved) with the app review team even reviewing my app at all (waited over 9+ days). I submitted the app for review on a Friday and it's Monday now. I'm not sure if they stop reviewing apps over the weekend. But any help to solve the issue would help

App still 'in review' after 9 days
I've submitted my app on May 17, 2025, and has been stuck 'in review' since (9+ days). I've contacted support numerous times with little success. One support rep said that my app was "expedited" 5 days ago, but not changes to the status of my app since. I'm afraid of deleting the submission and resubmitting as it might repeat this long process. Getting my app reviewed and hopefully listed on the app store as soon as possible is absolutely crucial to the success of my company. And every day spent 'in review' is a huge hurt on the conversions/sales on the people already waiting to try the app. Any help or visibility would be appreciated

App still 'in review' after 9+ days
I submitted my app to be reviewed on May 17, 2025. I've contacted support via phone and email a number of times without much success. One support member said my app was "expedited" on May 23 (5 days ago), but still nothing. I don't want to delete the submission of my app and try again only to repeat this long wait time. Having the app accepted and listed on the app store as soon as possible, since customers who've given us their email for pre-launch are waiting for the app to be public, thus hurting sales (every day this problem persists). Any help or visibility would be appreciated.

Apps still not review after 5 days
真诚地 We submitted updates for our applications on May 24, 2025, to make them available to new customers. As of today, the applications remain "in review," and we have not received any communication from your team. Please note that we revised the application names based on previous feedback from App Review. The availability of these apps in the store is critical to our operations, as our customers are eagerly awaiting access, and the delay is negatively impacting our sales. The lack of expedited service is frustrating, especially given our annual developer program fee. We would appreciate greater transparency regarding potential slowdowns (e.g., during peak periods like Christmas). Any assistance or visibility into the review timeline would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support, and best wishes to my fellow developers on your team. Sincerely,

Apps still not review after 9 days
We submitted our apps on May 19, 2025, in order to make them available to our new customers. To date, we have heard nothing from the AppStore Connect team. We tried to delete the submission of one of our apps and try again the process on May 23, but this too was unsuccessful. The availability of these apps on the store is vital to the operation of our company, since our customers are eagerly awaiting their use, which is a drag on our sales. It's frustrating not to have a faster service, especially as we pay an annual fee, without having more information on potential slowdowns such as during the Christmas period. Any help or visibility would be appreciated Wishing you a good day and good luck to my fellow developers if you're in the same situation. Best regards,

App update "Waiting for review" for a week
Hi! We have a critical in-app launch coming soon and already missed one due to longer than expected review process. I even requested an expedited review last Saturday, but it's still "Waiting for review". We also have a patch version waiting that we would send to review right after the current one is approved. Or should we reject the current submission and submit the patched version (and request expedited review) or would that just drop us back to the end of the line? Help appreciated, thank you. 🙏

Failed to upload the app using the Transporter App.
Validation failed (409) This bundle does not support one or more of the devices supported by the previous app version. Your app update must continue to support all devices previously supported. App Store upload fails when app supports only landscape orientation (React Native iOS)
Hi everyone, I'm working on an iOS app developed with React Native (version 0.69.4), and I'm running into an issue when trying to upload the archive to App Store Connect. My app is designed to work only in landscape orientation, so in Xcode I’ve set the supported interface orientations accordingly—only landscape left and landscape right are checked, and portrait options are unchecked. However, when I try to upload the build to App Store Connect, I receive an error indicating that the app must support the portrait orientation on iPhone. The upload process is being blocked due to this setting. For the functionality and layout of the app, supporting portrait mode is not ideal. Is there any recommended way to configure an app so that it can still be uploaded successfully while supporting only landscape orientation on iPhones? Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

App Store Connect trends & review not fully up-to-date?
I use App Store Connect for over 3 years but since about May 9 I noticed two things: the sales of my apps reported by App Store Connect/Trends are down approx. 80% (this could be a coincidence but I hope the data is not up-to-date) an update of one of my apps seems to be stuck in "Waiting for Review" for a couple of days now (in the weeks/months before the review process would be very quick: done in a couple of days). Anyone else having these/similar problems lately?

App Store Connect Error
I published a new iOS app recently and now I want to publish macOS app. The app is built in SwiftUI and macOS target is enabled using Mac Catalyst. While costomizing my macOS app page in App Store Connect I can edit most of the fields except unchecking "Sign-In Required" checkbox and entering contact details. If I uncheck "Sign-In Required" checkbox and press Save I get this generic error: "An error has occurred. Try again later.". Inspecting Console I can get this information: { appName: "appstore", payload: (1) […], eventKit: "logger", env: "PROD" } appName: "appstore" env: "PROD" eventKit: "logger" payload: Array [ {…} ] 0: Object { logLevel: "ERROR", message: "API Response Error: SAVE_APP_REVIEW_DETAILS_RESPONSE", url: "https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/apps/6739671911/distribution/macos/version/inflight", … } componentStack: undefined errorCode: undefined logLevel: "ERROR" message: "API Response Error: SAVE_APP_REVIEW_DETAILS_RESPONSE" stackTrace: "status code: 409 --- api correlation key: " url:"https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/apps/6739671911/distribution/macos/version/inflight" I contacted Apple support but they weren't quite useful and told me to ask people on forums... I don't believe this will help as clearly something is wrong with App Store Connect and the state of my account needs to be fixed on their end.

Appeal stuck in “Waiting for Review” for almost 1 month – not yet opened, no response
Hello everyone, I’m hoping the community (and maybe someone from App Review) can point me in the right direction. I submitted my new game on 22 April 2025. The build was rejected, so I filed an appeal the same day and re‑submitted it twice after that. The appeal has shown “Waiting for Review” ever since, and I’ve never received the usual “We got your appeal” email, just the generic “We’re seeing higher volume” message. Although this is a fresh developer account, I’ve shipped 50+ apps for other organizations over the years and never ran into a delay like this, so I’m pretty sure the hold‑up isn’t about the actual build. Why it’s urgent:
Influencer promos, community streams, and some paid ads were all timed around the original launch window. After four weeks of silence people assume the game’s been cancelled, and traffic/comments are sliding fast. What I’ve tried so far: Emailed App Review → same volume auto‑reply Used the Contact Us form twice Added a short note in Resolution Center every few days If anyone from App Review sees this or if another dev has broken out of a similar appeal limbo any tip or nudge would be hugely appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.

Add new build for review 500 error!
Hi, Since Friday 18 April 2025, around 9am, my team and I have been unable to manage one particular app in App Store Connect. Whenever we open the app’s page and try to view “General → App Information,” or when we press “Add for review” on the current iOS version, App Store Connect immediately displays “Something went wrong. Try again later.” and the content never loads. The error occurs every single time, in both Safari and Chrome on multiple Macs, while all our other apps in the same developer account behave normally. Our build and submission tooling (Fastlane) hasn’t changed for more than a year and continues to work for the rest of our apps. Every attempt to open App Information or submit the version fails. I have already opened a ticket ~1 month ago and shared all the screenshots, screen recordings and .har files but seems like really take their time to fix things. It feels like a server-side issue isolated to this single app, so any guidance or a manual unblock would be greatly appreciated.

App Stuck in "Waiting for Review" – No Update for Several Days
Hi everyone, I’m facing a frustrating issue with the App Store review process and wanted to know if anyone else has gone through something similar. I first submitted my app on April 15, 2025. After waiting for nearly 8–10 days with no progress, I ended up rejecting the binary myself out of frustration. I then resubmitted the app on April 24, 2025, but as of today, it’s still showing "Waiting for Review" with no updates or movement. This delay is really affecting my release schedule, and I’m not sure if there’s something wrong on my end or if this is just an unusual queue time. Has anyone else experienced this recently? Is there anything I can do to speed things up or get insight from Apple? Appreciate any help or shared experiences. Thanks

App Rejected Due to Guidelines 4.8 and 5.2.1 – Requesting Help and Guidance
Our app submission has been rejected due to issues related to the following guidelines: Guideline 4.8 – Login Services Guideline 5.2.1 Legal – Intellectual Property We’ve reviewed both guidelines carefully and would appreciate any insight or advice on how best to resolve these issues. ** Guideline 4.8.0 – Login Services** Our app uses both custom and third-party login methods, with a strong focus on user privacy and minimal data collection. Here's how our system works: -Custom Login Methods: Phone + MPIN – Authenticates users via secure, encrypted APIs without collecting name or email. Phone + OTP – Only verifies the phone number; no additional data is collected. Phone + Biometric – Uses on-device biometrics strictly for authentication. No biometric data is stored or transmitted. -Third-Party Logins: We offer Google and Facebook login via Expo AuthSession. Only minimal user data (name, email, and ID) is retrieved for authentication purposes. No user data is used for analytics, advertising, or tracking without explicit user consent. All data interactions are encrypted and comply with privacy standards. We believe this implementation is in line with the intent of Guideline 4.8, and we would appreciate any specific guidance if further changes are required. Guideline 5.2.1 Legal – Intellectual Property Our app, BookMyRajshree, is developed, owned, and operated solely by Skill Lotto Solutions Private Limited. We have clarified the following: -"BookMyRajshree" is a privately owned brand under Skill Lotto Solutions Pvt. Ltd. -It is not affiliated with any government entity. -We are not using any government logos, names, or impersonating any government service. -All intellectual property rights related to this brand are held by our company. We understand there may be concern due to the term “Rajshree” being associated with some government-run lotteries. However,we have clearly stated that our app is a private platform and we do not present ourselves as a government-authorized service. We have submitted relevant documentation showing our ownership of the brand but still our app is getting rejected because of the above guideline We kindly ask for your help or any suggestions on how we can resolve these issues in compliance with the guidelines. If there's anything more specific that Apple is looking for in terms of documentation or implementation changes, we’re ready to take immediate action. Thank you in advance for your support!

In Review for 35 days!
My app has been under review for exactly 35 days. There are no response since the first day, it is just waiting in the In review stage. I canceled it thinking it was a bug and sent it again, but there is no progress. I have sent more than 10 tickets, but no response. I opened a topic in the forum, but there is no response eitheri this is second. There is no place I can reach or ask for help. The Apple team is working great, you are great :) They will probably reply to this post with the words "click this link to get support" and direct me to the link I have previously submitted +10 tickets and have not received a response.

App Store upload fails when app supports only landscape orientation (React Native iOS)
Hi everyone, I'm working on an iOS app developed with React Native (version 0.69.4), and I'm running into an issue when trying to upload the archive to App Store Connect.
