Build notifications arrive days after build is complete
We have a release build workflow for our primary app, and we set up email and webhook notifications for it. This is to hopefully not miss when this workflow completes. Unfortunately, we seem to be getting these build notifications days after completion. This has happened several times. In this case, the build completed Friday afternoon for us, we submitted the new version, and it was released hours later. But we didn't get the workflow notification until Sunday. We get them in Slack and Email. I'm considering turning these notifications off since their late arrival is rendering them almost useless.

XCode Cloud asking to be set up, but it's already set up.
I was trying to update my workflow but Xcode shows me this: However when I push up to my testFlight branch it goes through and does everything as it's supposed to. I even got an email saying that everything was successful. If I try to go through the process of setting up XCode Cloud it will just have the spinning indicator forever and I have to force quit Xcode. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I am running Xcode 15.2

Unable to view artifacts from Xcode Cloud build in Xcode - getting 501 error message
I'm trying to download artifacts from some recent Xcode Cloud builds. In both Xcode and App Store Connect I'm getting errors. Xcode says: "Error Fetching Test Results: API Invalid status code: 501. App Store Connect says: "artifacts could not be found." FB13773789 - Xcode Cloud: Service returning 501 in Xcode when trying to view artifacts of successful build from minutes ago I have tried several projects to rule out project specific issues and it is happening to all of my Xcode Cloud enabled projects. Both Xcode 15.3 and 15.4 beta exhibit this behavior. Is anyone else running into this issue? I noticed it yesterday, and it continues into this morning.

Xcode Cloud and other swift flags issue
Hello, I've got a "other swift flag" set up for one of my schemes. It works when I build locally, but not when I try building using Xcode Cloud. My Other Swift Flags is set up like this: My code looks something like this: class Config { #if LIMITED static let configProperty = 1 #endif } However, Xcode Cloud says Config has no member 'configProperty', when I build my 'Limited' scheme.

Xcode Cloud builds failing randomly citing internal Apple network failure
Since April 30 (yesterday as of this writing) Xcode Cloud builds are failing randomly, usually citing an internal Apple network failure. NSLocalizedDescription=Communication with Apple failed, NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion=A non-HTTP 200 response was received (502) for URL https://developerservices2.apple.com/services/QH65B2/listTeams.action?clientId=XABBG36SBA Because of this network failure, the build cannot fetch my app ID NSLocalizedDescription=Capabilities for bundle ID "Twine" could not be fetched. Please file a bug report at https://feedbackassistant.apple.com and include the Update Signing report from the Report navigator., IDEDistributionIssueSeverity=3 This is a multi platform app, iOS, macOS, and visionOS. Usually one or two platforms will succeed, with one or two failing. From build to build, with no source changes, the successful platform randomly changes. But I never get a complete build.

Xcode Cloud builds failing with random 502 errors when resolving packages
During SPM Package resolution we are seeing lots of 502 errors in the logs when Xcode Cloud tries to talk to github. Anyone else seeing this? Not sure how to get this issue resolved but it is impacted all of our builds. Example of the error we're seeing. Xcode Cloud Archive - visionOS fails with Info.plist errors?
Today I have tried to add a second archive action for visionOS. I had added a visionOS destination to my app target a while back and can build and archive my app for visionOS in Xcode 15.3 locally, and also run it on the device. Xcode Cloud is giving me the following errors in the Archive - visionOS action (Archive - iOS works): Invalid Info.plist value. The value for the key 'DTPlatformName' in bundle MyApp.app is invalid. Invalid sdk value. The value provided for the sdk portion of LC_BUILD_VERSION in MyApp.app/MyApp is 17.4 which is greater than the maximum allowed value of 1.2. This bundle is invalid. The value provided for the key MinimumOSVersion '17.0' is not acceptable. Type Mismatch. The value for the Info.plist key CFBundleIcons.CFBundlePrimaryIcon is not of the required type for that key. See the Information Property List Key Reference at https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/general/Reference/InfoPlistKeyReference/Introduction/Introduction.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40009248-SW1 All 4 errors are annotated with "Prepare Build for App Store Connect" and I get them for both "TestFlight (Internal Testing Only)" and "TestFlight and App Store" deployment preparation options. I have tried to remove the visionOS destination and add it back, but this is not changing the project at all. Any ideas what I am missing?

iOS Archive using Xcode Cloud
I'm trying to generate a build using Xcode Cloud, but the error below is displayed: /bin/sh: /Volumes/workspace/repository/ios/Pods/../../node_modules/react-native/ReactCommon/../scripts/xcode/with-environment.sh: No such file or directory This error occurs when I'm generating the archive. It's worth mentioning that if I try to run the archive manually in Xcode > Product > Archive, it works. Can someone help me out?

XCode Cloud xcodebuild archive timeout
For some time now XCode Cloud build keep failing with: The step invocation hit a user timeout. The xcodebuild archive invocation timed out. No activity has been detected on stdout, stderr or the result bundle in 30 minutes. This happens specifically on Asset catalogs processing. In my case the app has like 8K images, with most of them tagged via Apple's ODR system so only the assets user needs are loaded, but the associated build step still takes a lot of time, usually 90+ minutes. It was fine before the timeout got implemented. Is there any whay to raise the timeout for a specific project? As it stands now the XCode Cloud is useless for this project as it can't do what it was intended for.

Snapshot testing differences between local machine and Xcode Cloud
Hi, I’m using the snapshot testing library from https://github.com/pointfreeco/swift-snapshot-testing I recorded the snapshot tests on the iPhone 15 pro simulator on iOS 17.4 and Xcode 15.3 On my M1 Max MacBook Pro Within the tests found in https://github.com/fespinoza/sample-json-app/blob/84b81ee3fa1d24e97bbeded65487b32258a42325/SampleProjectTests/MovieDetails/MovieDetailsViewTests.swift I try to control all the traits and properties I can, to make sure the test is run in the same environment in Xcode Cloud For some reason though, on Xcode Cloud, Text with multiline strings have a different line height than on my machine and thus the test fail I don’t understand: why that happens how to debug this situation Does anyone here have any pointers? Missing Icon Error when Building Universal iOS/visionOS App
I'm getting a build error in Xcode Cloud when I'm trying to build my app. I've added visionOS support to my app and I'm getting a bunch of errors when it's trying to build the iOS version by the looks of it (archiving fails and spits out a bunch of missing asset errors for iOS)… I'm using alternative app icons on iOS… both my visionOS icon and iOS app icon use the same "AppIcon" name in the asset library… while my other alternative icons have separate naming and are only configured an iOS icons (there's no option to use them for visionOS currently)… I'm assuming it's something to do with iOS looking for or not finding my alternative icons for both the visionOS and iOS "AppIcon"? Missing Icon. The Info.plist key CFBundleIcons.CFBundleAlternateIcons contains an entry “green-icon” that references asset “green-icon.” No such asset is present in the asset catalog. Missing Icon. The Info.plist key CFBundleIcons.CFBundleAlternateIcons contains an entry “red-icon” that references asset “red-icon.” No such asset is present in the asset catalog. Missing Icon. The Info.plist key CFBundleIcons~ipad.CFBundleAlternateIcons contains an entry “white-icon” that references asset “white-icon.” No such asset is present in the asset catalog. Any ideas? Thanks!

Xcode Cloud Invalid Signature TN2206 error
Hello guys, I've been dealing with one error in my xcode cloud configuration. I want to auto-deploy the app version to Testflight on something is merged to main branch. Of course if I do at my local environment it works perfect. But when I try to execute it at XCode Cloud I've got this error. I really don't have any idea about how to fix it. Xcode Cloud Setup Issue
We had Xcode Cloud working with our project. We needed to re-auth the repo which failed and ended up needing to remove the config to reset it up as new. When on AppStoreConenct it shows its now not configured and to setup, which is good but when launch Xcode, press setup Xcode cloud it just gets stuck on loading source code repositories.

PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy: No such file or directory
I've been running into problems when building on Xcode cloud. I keep getting errors with regards to PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy: No such file or directory. I'm not sure what the next steps are, as I originally built with only three errors: Then I attempted to pod install and pod update, and even tried to alter the target membership, but that only had me get more errors: I've looked at some of the other questions and responses in the forum about this issue, but none of them seemed to fix the No such file or directory issue. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Xcode Cloud + Swagger-Codegen
Hi, I tried to put in place a workflow to automatically generate API data model using Swagger-Codegen on Xcode Cloud. In the ci_pre_xcodebuild.sh we install swagger-codegen using brew. But installation fails due to uninstalled Apple Command Line Tools. Error: python @3.12: the bottle needs the Apple Command Line Tools to be installed. Any thoughts about this ? Regards,

Xcode cloud gives invalid signature error
Hi, We've been using Xcode cloud for one of our apps without issues for a while now. We're happy with it, and want to use it to build and publish all the apps we manage. But these past few days i've tried to set up a new app without success. I'm receiving the errors Invalid Signature. Code failed to satisfy specified code requirement(s). The file at path “{app}/Frameworks/hermes.framework/hermes” is not properly signed. Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose “Clean All” in Xcode, delete the “build” directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target. For more information, please consult https://developer.apple.com/support/code-signing. Invalid Signature. Code failed to satisfy specified code requirement(s). The errors seems aimed towards someone trying to build locally, as to my understanding, i can't affect the cloud signing used by the pipeline. Nonetheless, I've been trying to fix these by: Creating new certificates(both personal, and removing the xcode cloud ones) Deleting Xcode cloud data and starting over Changing, and testing, all relevant signing settings in project.pbxproj Testing various Xcode and MacOS versions in the config Creating provisioning profiles and specifying them in project.pbxproj Compared files and structures between a working project and this one Gone through all troubleshooting documentation and relevant posts and answers on various forums The issue only exists in Xcode cloud, and as far i can see there should be no issues with the servers. If i switch to the exact build, build it locally and publish it, there's no issue. Is there any more alternatives i can try before moving on from Xcode cloud to another solution?
