Branding app clips for different businesses
Hello, I am new to app clips and working on app clips that will be used by different customers of ours and they would want to create their own app clip card with different images, title, subtitle and different parameters in the URL. I went through different WWDC videos related to app clips and also through the app clips documentation and all of them says that a different configuration for each customer needs to be made in App Store Connect through Advanced Experiences with URL's specific to each customer/business. If I am understanding it right, then the customers will have to share their images, title and subtitle with us to configure it in app store connect. That will be an extra overhead of handling extra number of requests for each customers. Just checking if there is any other way where the customers/business can create/configure for their own app clip card?

403 Forbidden when editting advanced App Clip experiences in App Store Connect
For a few days now, we are getting an error page saying "403 Forbidden" when clicking the "Edit Advanced Experience" button for our App in App Store Connect. Also, the cache status for our domains says "Cache status updated on Feb 29, 2024 at 10:49 AM." which is almost a week ago. Are we the only app having this issue, or is it more widespread?

invalid package contents - com.apple.quarantine
After uploading the app archive generated by Xcode (which passed validation), I received an email stating one or more files had the com.apple.quarantine extended file attribute and to remove the attribute before uploading the archive again. A particular PNG file was identified. In the terminal, I ran the command: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine The response was: "No such xattr: com.apple.quarantine" I also ran "xattr -rd" on the directory containing all app files. No response. The identifed PNG file at fault is a screenshot used only in the app's User Guide. It was created 5 years ago using Apple software: Ctrl-Shift-4 to capture the image, Preview to resize. Given the file does not have the quarantine extended attribute, I can only conclude that Xcode is adding the attribute when building the archive. How do I stop Xcode from adding the attribute? I have search Google with numerous search criteria and check the Apple Developer Forum, but could only find how to remove the attribute using xattr; nothing about Xcode adding the attribute when building an archive.

VisionOS 2.4 Required - But doesn't warn user?
I have an AVP app thats already been approved that requires VisionOS 2.4 for the Background Assets feature. The project is set to 2.4 min, but when doing test flights folks that did not have 2.4 did not receive a warning or anything they just get a download error and then think its a bug. Is there a way to only allow devices with 2.4 to download a app? Im new to Apple dev but I'd assume this is standard. Thanks!

Add new build for review 500 error!
Hi, Since Friday 18 April 2025, around 9am, my team and I have been unable to manage one particular app in App Store Connect. Whenever we open the app’s page and try to view “General → App Information,” or when we press “Add for review” on the current iOS version, App Store Connect immediately displays “Something went wrong. Try again later.” and the content never loads. The error occurs every single time, in both Safari and Chrome on multiple Macs, while all our other apps in the same developer account behave normally. Our build and submission tooling (Fastlane) hasn’t changed for more than a year and continues to work for the rest of our apps. Every attempt to open App Information or submit the version fails. I have already opened a ticket ~1 month ago and shared all the screenshots, screen recordings and .har files but seems like really take their time to fix things. It feels like a server-side issue isolated to this single app, so any guidance or a manual unblock would be greatly appreciated.

App Store Connect Error
I published a new iOS app recently and now I want to publish macOS app. The app is built in SwiftUI and macOS target is enabled using Mac Catalyst. While costomizing my macOS app page in App Store Connect I can edit most of the fields except unchecking "Sign-In Required" checkbox and entering contact details. If I uncheck "Sign-In Required" checkbox and press Save I get this generic error: "An error has occurred. Try again later.". Inspecting Console I can get this information: { appName: "appstore", payload: (1) […], eventKit: "logger", env: "PROD" } appName: "appstore" env: "PROD" eventKit: "logger" payload: Array [ {…} ] 0: Object { logLevel: "ERROR", message: "API Response Error: SAVE_APP_REVIEW_DETAILS_RESPONSE", url: "https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/apps/6739671911/distribution/macos/version/inflight", … } componentStack: undefined errorCode: undefined logLevel: "ERROR" message: "API Response Error: SAVE_APP_REVIEW_DETAILS_RESPONSE" stackTrace: "status code: 409 --- api correlation key: " url:"https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/apps/6739671911/distribution/macos/version/inflight" I contacted Apple support but they weren't quite useful and told me to ask people on forums... I don't believe this will help as clearly something is wrong with App Store Connect and the state of my account needs to be fixed on their end.

Our App stuck "In Review" Process
We urgently need clarification on why the review of our app, is taking so long. We submitted the update on May 4, and while it moved to "In Review" within a few days, there has been complete silence since then—no updates, no visibility into the process. We can’t afford further delays—users are waiting for these features, and the lack of progress is disrupting our rollout plans. Please advise us immediately on how we can move this forward or escalate the review. Almost every day we contact (email) the Apple Reviewer Team but the reply doesn't have a clear reason . It makes us frustated while waiting the feeback meanwhile our users can't wait longer .

about “Guideline 3.2.1(viii) - Business - Other Business Model Issues - Acceptable”,the domains listed not clearly under your control or ownership.
The audit opinion mentioned that there are uncontrollable domain names on the product metadata page. We uploaded relevant certificates related to these domain names, which is sufficient to indicate that they are under our control. However, this reason was still rejected and no further audit opinion was provided. Therefore, we cannot solve this problem, even though we believe that the domain name control has been explained through the domain name certificate. Therefore, I would like to consult with all of you on how you have resolved this issue?

Failure with iOS App upload to AppStore Connect
I am using the Transporter App to upload our iOS app (it has already been reviewed and uploaded once via Xcode Archive build and upload process) with a new incremented build number, for beta testing. AppStore Connect claims we've changed the "UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities" since last build - but we haven't
Getting the following error from AppStore Connect ITMS-90109: This bundle is invalid - The key UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities in the Info.plist may not contain values that would prevent this application from running on devices that were supported by previous versions. Refer to QA1623 for additional information: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#qa/qa1623/_index.html We haven't changed the UIRequiredDeviceCapabilities value since our last production build. I've verified that by downloading the prior release and comparing the bundled info plist - the value we had arm64, remains the same. Is anyone else seeing this issue all of a sudden?

App Store Connect trends & review not fully up-to-date?
I use App Store Connect for over 3 years but since about May 9 I noticed two things: the sales of my apps reported by App Store Connect/Trends are down approx. 80% (this could be a coincidence but I hope the data is not up-to-date) an update of one of my apps seems to be stuck in "Waiting for Review" for a couple of days now (in the weeks/months before the review process would be very quick: done in a couple of days). Anyone else having these/similar problems lately?

Payment stuck in Balance Carried Forward
Anyone having trouble getting payment for April 2025? Normally the area that shows the payment date in the Payments and Financial Reports now says "Balance Carried Forward". After financial reports come out, it normally has the payment date. I'm waiting for a 6 figure payment (so it's definitely above the threshold), and I've never had trouble getting payments before. I've also checked all my agreements and banking info (a US bank), and everything is active and up to date. I haven't received any emails about this or any investigations. I've contacted support but haven't heard back yet. Wondering if anyone is experiencing the same. I hope it's not just me.

Failed to upload the app using the Transporter App.
Validation failed (409) This bundle does not support one or more of the devices supported by the previous app version. Your app update must continue to support all devices previously supported. You declare supported devices in Xcode with the Targeted Device Family build setting. App Store upload fails when app supports only landscape orientation (React Native iOS)
Hi everyone, I'm working on an iOS app developed with React Native (version 0.69.4), and I'm running into an issue when trying to upload the archive to App Store Connect. My app is designed to work only in landscape orientation, so in Xcode I’ve set the supported interface orientations accordingly—only landscape left and landscape right are checked, and portrait options are unchecked. However, when I try to upload the build to App Store Connect, I receive an error indicating that the app must support the portrait orientation on iPhone. The upload process is being blocked due to this setting. For the functionality and layout of the app, supporting portrait mode is not ideal. Is there any recommended way to configure an app so that it can still be uploaded successfully while supporting only landscape orientation on iPhones? Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The Transporter app continues to retry forever for the last 2 days. The Transporter Version 1.3.2 (1394) running on MacOS (15.4.1 (24E263)) There is currently no way to use any method other than interactive Xcode process via UI, to upload the app?
