Integrating cryptocurrency on app platforms
I’m a novice developer seeking insight from those more experienced. My goal is to buils an app UI platform for a streaming series and content + games tethered to a new crypto asset in development. I know this has been done on the App Store with products like Axie Infinity (Ronin/ETH currency) and am also looking over the Hedera white paper. Gaming is easily the most substantive case use for crypto currency, I’m just interested in what are the challenges to integration and if anyone has other examples or thoughts on the topic. Specifically tied to products developed for the Apple platform. What’s the playbook? cheers

iPhone 16 pro camera crashes, device hot and slow, microphone no sound, horrible customer service
i have had iPhone 16 pro since 09252024, and the following issues pop up in turns everyday: Camera crashes and the device doesn’t response. I have to restart to restore the function. Outgoing and incoming voice messages have no sounds. Initially, I thought it was because of the message app; however, I tried to record my voice with voice Memos, Still no sounds, so I figured it’s the microphone. I sometimes have to restart iphone 2-3 times to fix the issue. The device gets hot and slow without background apps running. I can not figure out the cause. For example, after I woke up this morning and picked up my phone to look at some websites. The phone became hot and slow in just a few minutes. Again, after I restarted it, the issue resolved. Do I pay over $1,100 to constantly restart my iPhone to have it work? i have contacted Apple service teams for hundreds of times since last week; however, I have found it’s extremely hard to get proper help. Initially, I chose chat service and was transferred from tech support to Apple care then to sales department. Sometimes the connection lost, so I had to repeatedly tell the new person what has happened. Then I was told to call their senior advisor, who again asked me“how can I help you”, so I told him what’s going on and I chatted with other agents, who advised me to call instead because their limited access, and if he needed more info, he could look at the chat history or notes. Surprisingly, this person mocked:” I went over the previous chat and noticed that you have contact us for 20 times!” I told him that before I talked to him, I only contacted Apple once and was transferred to different department and still can not get help. Then he again asked me:” how can I help you”? I said I told you already and you said you reviewed the chat history, why are you asking me again? he said he wanted to hear from me, so I repeated again, then he asked the same thing again, so we were doing this back and fort for a few times. Finally, I was really ****** off, so I shouted to him and hung up because I had to go back to work. Later, I chatted with Apple service again, and this tech support said they needed to run a diagnostic test for my phone, but they could only give me verbal advice regarding the result and recommendation instead of proving a detailed written report. I felt this does not make any sense! For example, if we go to our car dealer to fix our car, the advisor will give us a written report and advices., so we can see what’s the issue and make suitable decision. Why can not Apple do this? How do I know if what they tell me is true without anything in writing? Apple’s explanation to this is this is what Apple does! Of course, I did not accept this and ask if this defective phone can be replaced. Then I was transferred to another person, who told me a replacement for my phone was initiated and I would receive an email within 24-48 hours. I was so happy and waited and waited for 3 days! No email came! I contacted Apple again and was told my phone was still in warranty, but I had to send my phone first to Apple and to have it inspected. If it’s eligible, a replacement would be sent to me. I refused because i simply can not function without my cellphone:) Then I did research online and found out Apple care offers a service called express replacement, which can send a new phone to me first, then have me return the defective one, so I bought Apple care and called Apple again, but I was told one more time that they had to run a diagnostic before further action! The above is just simplified story because I don’t want to waste more time to write down all the details. It’s also worth to mention that during my numerous contacts with Apple: my chat repeatedly got disconnected, so I had to repeat my request to new agents; when I called, 2-3 times, my call was hung up by their agent; or one of the agents told me she could not see any devices associated with my account; and every time I was transferred to a new department, I had to identity myself and repeat my request despite the fact that I had verified with Apple’s automatic voice assistant and previous agents. another issue is different agent even from the same department told me different solutions and policies. Nothing in writing can express my frustration and disappointment. I do not understand how a good company has become like this, both product quality and cus service quality.

iPhone 15 Pro’s Screen Turns Black After iOS 18.3 BETA Update
After Updating My iPhone 15 Pro To IOS 18.3 beta, 1 Day Later A Pixel seemed stuck or burnt, and then after 1 Day on 25 Dec The Screen Went Black Or Turned Off But Responded To My Touch, the reason i suppose the screen went black would be a memory glitch happening when i opened the camera from the Lock Screen or a graphica card issue if anyone can help I would appreciate it

App review rejection due to business model issue
Hi, I have built an app for my company where we are providing users to purchase our food bars via the app and then what they purchase , we will deliver to people in conflict effected or disaster effected areas. The purchase is done via stripe and apple pay. The food bars are made of Spirulina and is full of energy and protein. Currently this is available via our web platform. My app was rejected as my company is not a recognized non profit. I would like to know how I can get my app approved. The only viable option given for me via app review was to take my payment screen to a web platform as donations. However I would like to know if the issue is that the app is making users believe they are donating, by me changing the wordings, images , and structure of the app to ensure users know that they are purchasing the food bars and we are only delivering, will is help is app being approved by app store review.

Carplay
After ios 18 update , the car play on Jeep compass is having issues. If FM is playing and you connect the car to CarPlay , the Fn goes dead totally across stations . Only way to listen to FM again is to switch off the WiFi and disconnect the car play. 2 . even if FM plays and you switch off the car, the car stereo should switch off completely. Now it doesn’t till the time you dont disconnect the car play and switch off the WiFi on the phone

Unable to view ActiveSync mail on IOS 18.2
We have been unable to use ActiveSync email in our mail app since the IOS 18.2 update. We have repeatedly recreated the account but cannot improve the situation. We have normal access to ActiveSync mail on IOS 18.1.1 and ipadOS 18.2. Is there any additional configuration required in IOS?

"Build failed" with developement team already signed
Hello everyone! I’m new to this forum and have never designed an app before. I’ve used Unity and Xcode. When I launch the build in Xcode, it always replies “Build Failed.” I’ll explain the problem and attach some screenshots. The app I’m trying to launch comes from the Unity platform (version 2022.3.46f1) + Vuforia for augmented reality. Everything works well on this platform (I’ve already checked it); I export the project into a specially created folder after clicking on “Build”; I open the project in Xcode version 16.0 (I downloaded this application a few days ago); I connect my iPhone and my Apple ID by going to “Xcode” > “Settings” and linking my account; to connect my iPhone, I go to “Window” > “Devices and Simulators” and link everything; then I go to “Targets” > “Unity iPhone” and check in the “General” and “Signing and Capabilities” sections to ensure everything is correct; I then change the development team name to my account “MARCO ARICO” (previously activated on Apple Developer with an already paid annual subscription) and check that the “Bundle Identifier” is the same as the one I entered in Unity under “Player” > “Other Settings.” At this point, I send the Build, and after a few moments, it says “Build Failed” with this error: “/Users/albertodanielemanzo/Desktop/Unity/App_7/Unity-iPhone.xcodeproj Signing for 'Unity-iPhone' requires a development team. Select a development team in the Signing & Capabilities editor.” I would like to add that the Mac I’m using belongs to a friend who specifically lent it to me to launch this app, and all the steps I took are based on in-depth research from YouTube tutorials and official Unity and Xcode forums. The computer I’m using is a MacBook Air with macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, which belongs to my friend who lent it to me. All subscriptions are under my name. My username is the same as the development team name (Development Team); the subscription I have with Apple is individual, as are my downloaded certificates for app development. I have already addressed the issue with Apple Developer support, and they advised me to write on this forum.

Camera's settings at calibration time
Hi everyone, I am wondering under which settings the camera(s) were set by the time they were calibrated. For instance, one aspect that is easy to find is the reference resolution of the images taken when calibrating the intrinsics, this is by retrieving intrinsicMatrixReferenceDimensions. Making sure that the principal point is referenced to the by the time resolution used when the calibration was ongoing. However, recently I saw that there are focusing modes that potentially displace the lens' physical position. Settings like: AutoFocusRangeRestriction: none, near, far setFocusModeLocked: Locks the lens position at the specified value, and sets the focus mode to a locked state. My concern lies the impact this focusing lens displacements have on the intrinsic matrix parameters, if the lens is displaced, these parameters no longer describe the camera since the lens position has changed w.r.t. the lensPosition set when they were calibrated [0-1]. If my understanding is correct the AutoFocusRangeRestriction is just a range freedom the system is allowed to auto-focus and not a specific lens position. Conversely, the setFocusModeLocked does indeed fix the lensPosition to a certain value [0 - 1]. In simple words, what is the focus lensPosition the cameras were set when calibrating them for intrnisics?

Toggle button for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) missing in iPhone
Toggle button for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) missing in iPhone. Instead of Toggle button for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) in iPhone ,a grayed out text appears if the other Apple device is logged in to iCloud after the primary iPhone. Messages in iCloud are switched On for all devices, and all devices are on latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS. iMessage is also On. The toggle button appears for SMS forwarding (iOS Settings app > Apps > Messages > SMS Forwarding) in iPhone against any device logged in to Apple account in the following conditions: 1.) the iPhone is restored as new and logged on to the iCloud ID, after the other Apple device was logged in to iCloud with same ID. In other words, the iPhone under consideration and its Messages in iCloud are logged on in the last out of all other Apple devices (iPad, macBook, any other iPhone); or 2.) the messages in iCloud is toggled "Off" in the respective other Apple device. Perhaps the above condition (2) is emanating out of the Apple support article https://support.apple.com/en-in/102545, but the condition at (1) definitely does not seem to have any basis. The behaviour at (1) seems a bug.

Bizarre networking problem
On my MBP, I have two accounts, my main account and the "clean" account. (To simulate being a "normal" user, or for debugging purposes.) The "clean" account has no trouble connecting to my company WiFi, which uses a radius server. I'm not sure of the exact WiFi settings, but I could look it up in it really matters. My normal account can't connect to the server, in a really bizarre way. Every time I attempt to connected, it goes through the following steps Asks for a user name and password, as if I hadn't previously asked to store them. Asks me to import the certificate for the radius server, as if I can't see it list in Keychain Access. Among existing keys to use to use for the connection, it only lists my Developer Certificate keys. After going through all that and possibly entering my network username and password one more time, the WiFi bars in the status area are all lit up as if I'm connected. However, if you look at the network list underneath it, you see the indefinite progress indicator percolating next to the network name instead of WiFi bars, and I don't actually have access. After a while of that (at least 30 seconds if not longer), the situation flips. The bars next to the network name in the drop-down become sold active color, as if I'm connecting, but the WiFi bars in the status area start moving up and down as if connecting. I still have no network. Eventually, it disconnects, and reverts to whatever other network it can find. If I login to both accounts, connect from the "clean" account, and then fast user switch to my main account, the network disconnects. I don't know if that's a feature or a bug. Does anybody have any ideas on what could be going wrong and how to fix it? Or even ideas and how to debug what it's doing while spinning like crazy at me? Thanks!

Issue import from file to photo large amount of file
Hi, i’m doing a work. i need to transfer files (photo, raw format) from sd to iphone. On my iPad pro. i need to move photo first on file, then Import to photo. now. If i do this job for few files there is no problem. if i copy more then 300 files job is not done. when i select raw file on file app, and then click on share/ save to my photo option …. Ther‘s no progress bar, no way to conclude copy with success. At least 298 photo are imported. Whitout any error or warning. Someone do the trick? can be possible to copy from file to file or import from file to photo with a progress bar display? it’s very very strange that the basic is turned off. please help me. thank you very much in advance.

IOS 18 Network issues
Hello, I am using 14 pro max. After IOS 18 update, I can’t make any outgoing call or also can’t receive any incoming calls. I can use mobile data but can’t make or recite any calls. Anyone else facing this problem? What might be the solution for this?
