Xcode 26.4 breaks compilation
With the latest Xcode 26.4 my project fails to compile due to a compiler unable to type-check in reasonable time error with a library I've been using for years and has not changed. The library is https://github.com/ngageoint/mgrs-ios and is specifically around this line https://github.com/ngageoint/mgrs-ios/blob/master/mgrs-ios/utm/UTM.swift#L96. Since this isn't my library I can't change it, but again we've been using this library for years now without issue - it was only when Xcode updated this morning that our compilation workflow broke. (Compilation machine is an M3 Pro with 18GB of RAM, so I don't think that's the problem here)

ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING – External TestFlight unavailable, internal builds not downloadable
Hi, I’m running into a persistent issue in App Store Connect related to TestFlight and app reviews, and I’m hoping someone has seen this before. Around two weeks ago, I started getting the following error when trying to create external TestFlight builds: ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING Since then: I cannot create any external TestFlight tests Internal TestFlight builds appear, but cannot be downloaded (“The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist”) My apps do not progress properly through review One app got stuck in “In Review” for ~10 days; I eventually withdrew it and resubmitted it At this point, I cannot update two existing apps, and I can’t start testing a new app at all Important details: This is an individual developer account I am the Account Holder All contracts appear active and valid The issue affects multiple apps, not just one Nothing changed on my side (no contract updates, no account changes) before this started happening. I’ve already reached out to Apple Developer

Reply to System-wide deadlock in removexattr from revisiond / APFS
Sorry, it was a TSI, not a bug report. I replied to the DTS email yesterday with the full spin dump. Ahh, I see it now. So, the first thing I actually did was search for /usr/lib/libEndpointSecurity.dylib (the library link path), which is a convenient way to find all ES clients. What you'll find is that there are two clients— yours and a (presumably unrelated) 3rd party client. That's a critical factor here because it means that there are now two independent entities with veto power over each other's activities, particularly activity that's coming from helper components (not just the direct ES client). That leads to here: There are only 2 other threads in the logs that appear relevant, both from our helper process and both down in APFS. One of them is also stuck inside decmpfs_read_compressed: That's the deadlock. More specifically, looking at your thread's stack when you enter decmpfs_read_compressed, the first thing it does is call decmpfs_lock_compressed_data: (1) *940 decmpfs_read_compressed + 30

Reply to Advanced App Clip Experiences stuck in "Received" — never transition to "Published"
Thanks for the post, interesting that's something in the process. TN3168: Making your App Clip available in the App Store | Apple Developer Documentation https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/804858 There is something I always like to check when deploying AASA files. When the full app is installed, iOS handles the URL invocation locally via your apple-app-site-association (AASA) file and entitlements, bypassing the need to query Apple's App Clip CDN. The fact that this works proves your code, AASA file, and associated domains are configured correctly. The failure for fresh devices is happening because Apple's CDN has not yet been updated with your App Clip's metadata? Can you provide me a link to your AASA file in your server so we can see why is not syncing into the Apple servers? Is your server preventing or blocking IP address or user agents from requesting the AASA file? Sometimes, the job queue in App Store Connect simply drops the task. You can often force it to re-queue by making

macOS App: In-App Purchases section missing from version page - IAPs stuck for 3+ days, 4 app versions approved but IAPs never reviewed
Hello everyone, I'm experiencing a critical issue with App Store Connect for our macOS application and I'm hoping someone from Apple or the community can help. THE PROBLEM: The In-App Purchases and Subscriptions section is completely missing from the version page in App Store Connect. According to Apple's documentation, this section should appear between Build and App Review Information on the version page, allowing developers to select and attach IAP products before submitting for review. In our case, this section simply does not exist. WHAT WE'VE TRIED: Submitted 4 separate app versions , ALL approved by App Review Each time, the IAP products were NOT included because the section to attach them is missing Opened a support case on March 23 - no response after 2 business days Opened a second case through the App Setup channel Requested expedited review multiple times Added notes in the App Review Notes field explaining the issue OUR SETUP: We have three IAP products configured (two auto-renewable sub

Reply to 3.2(f) triggered — account pending termination despite repeated attempts to comply
a long review process with many resubmissions The word 'many' doesn't convey the exact number to others. Can repeated resubmissions / iterative changes alone be interpreted as “evasion” under 3.2(f)? It depends on what you have done, and nobody but people from Apple, Inc. knows it. You have been told that you have some questionable, overly sexual content. Suppose that that you have covered a sexually-revealing person with a see-through material. You've been warned 5 times. And each time you increase its opacity from 10% to 11%, 12%, 13%... If you do it many times without entirely getting rid of this person, I would definitely flag it for evasion.

Kernel Panic: Power state transition (0 -> 2) timeout during DriverKit (DEXT) load sequence (IOUserSCSIParallelInterfaceController)
Hi Everyone, We are currently migrating a mature legacy KEXT to DriverKit for our PCIe SCSI storage controller (connected via Thunderbolt 3). During the DEXT load sequence, we have observed that the system automatically triggers a power state transition from State 0 (Off) to State 2 (On). However, this process results in a Kernel Panic due to a timeout after approximately 21 seconds. We have verified that our implementation of Start_Impl, UserInitializeController_Impl, and SetPowerState_Impl executes extremely fast, with a total execution time of less than one second. Specifically, SetPowerState_Impl returns kIOReturnSuccess immediately upon being called. Furthermore, our current Info.plist does not contain any IOPowerManagement dictionary or related keys. Despite the fast execution and the absence of explicit power management declarations in the plist, the kernel power management state machine (IOServicePM) still generates a 21-second timeout, leading to the following panic: Panic Log: panic(cpu 7 c

Family Controls entitlement request submitted on March 9, 2026 — no response or status update
Hi, I submitted a Family Controls (Distribution) entitlement request on March 9, 2026 for my iOS app, but I still have not received any approval, rejection, or other status update. At this point, I’m mainly trying to understand: whether this waiting time is currently normal, whether there is any way to check if the request is actually under review, and whether Apple provides any follow-up if more information is needed. This is blocking my progress, because the app depends on the Screen Time / Family Controls APIs. Has anyone recently experienced similar delays, and is there any recommended next step besides waiting? Thanks. Imi

Family Controls Request Form
Hi everyone, I recently submitted the Family Controls request form and received the following request IDs: 429MKWT5VX
 KNL6T2DC7A
N62KV78DKC However, I haven’t received any updates yet and I’m not sure how these requests are tracked or when we’ll know if they’re approved. Our app is almost ready to launch and this capability is critical for us. Both the main app and an extension depend on Family Controls, so we’re currently blocked from moving forward. I also raised a support ticket with Apple Developer Support (Case ID: 102838723073), but I haven’t received any response there either. To be honest, this is becoming really stressful. Months of work are stuck at the final step and we’re unable to move forward without this approval. This isn’t just a small personal project and we’re building a production app and were hoping to launch very soon. If anyone has been through this process or has any guidance on the approval timeline, or if someone from Apple could help lo

Family Controls extensions stuck in "Submitted"
Hi, I’m requesting the Family Controls distribution capability for my app and its extensions. The main app bundle ID was approved within 1 day. However, I later realized the associated extensions (Shield Configuration, Device Activity Monitor, Device Activity Report) also require separate approval. I submitted those extension requests 4 days ago, and they are still in Submitted with no updates. This is currently blocking me from proceeding with TestFlight/App Store submission, since the extensions require the approved capability. Is this delay expected for extension bundle IDs? Thanks for your help.

Family Controls Entitlement for Extension Identifier
I've already submitted multiple cases about this issue. My Family Controls Distribution request was apparently approved (or I was told via Developer Support) for my Device Activity extension, but the Distribution option still does not appear in the identifier. This is blocking my ability to distribute via TestFlight. I need someone who can update the identifier capabilities or explain why the approved capability is not showing.

Urgent: Bundle ID Case-Sensitivity Mismatch for Approved Family Controls Entitlement
Hello, I have a critical issue regarding the Family Controls (Distribution) entitlement. My app FocusPact was approved for the entitlement, but there is a technical mismatch in the Bundle IDs that prevents distribution via TestFlight. [Current Situation] Parent App ID: com.hayashikento.FocusPact (Approved / Capitalized) Approved Extension ID: com.hayashikento.focuspact.ShieldConfigurationExtension (Approved / Lowercase) [The Issue] Due to the case-sensitivity difference (FocusPact vs focuspact), Xcode throws a Bundle identifier prefix mismatch error. Since the parent app identifier is already established as capitalized, I cannot change it to lowercase without breaking the existing configuration. [Request] I have submitted a new entitlement request with the corrected capitalized Bundle ID: Corrected Extension ID: com.hayashikento.FocusPact.ShieldConfigurationExtension Could a DTS engineer please help me synchronize the approved status to this capitalized ID? This is purely a technical correct

Why are Family Controls API requests taking this long?
Hello, I’m honestly trying to understand what’s going on with the Family Controls API review process. I submitted my entitlement request on March 5, and as of today (March 19), there has been zero response. I also opened a support ticket on March 16, and that hasn’t received any response either. What’s confusing is that updates to another app on the same developer account were approved within days so clearly the account is in good standing and active. At this point, it feels like there’s no visibility into what’s happening: Is the request under review? Is it waiting for additional information? Or is it just sitting in a queue indefinitely? I understand that Family Controls is a sensitive API, but a two-week silence with no status or communication makes it very difficult to plan or ship features. For those who’ve gone through this: How long did your approval actually take? Did you receive any communication during the process? Is there any reliable way to get visibility or sp
