Apple WatchOS 2 and iOS 9 won't pair
Yesterday, I updated the iPhone to iOS 9, and watch to OS2 fine. Today, I downgraded to iOS 8 because the phone was too glitchy. After realizing the iPhone won't work with the apple watch since WatchOS 2 and iOS 9 aren't compatable, I updated back to iOS 9. Now my watch just stays on the apple loop, and if I get through to the pairing screen, my iPhone will not see it (manually or through the camera). Any advice?

Reply to Can I install back to iOS 8.3 after trying out iOS 9 beta?
I tried to downgrade because i have to send my iphone off to Apple due to a fauty screen, but it fails half way through teh usuaul process. It say the phone failed to restore and then tries to download 8.3 again (even though i've jut told it to instal that a few minutes beofre hand). From previous betas this hasnt been a problem. UPS are due in 1/2 hour to pick up the phone so this is a bit of a problem!Legally speking I fail to see how Apple can void a legal gaurantee for a hardware defect because i put an authorised developer release on via a dev account etc on, but I really dont want them to have to recieve a phone with a dev release on and then refuse it!W

Reply to san francisco
There appears to be some strange internal doublethink going on with the bundled version of San Francisco.Indeed, like all core fonts, it's located in /System/Library/Fonts, and it occupies a handful of files prefixed SFNS. But it doesn't show up anywhere in Font Book, as far as I could see. And if you go to re-install it (File: Add Fonts and select those files), it will happily copy the files out of the system folder into ~/Library/Fonts——but will still absolutely refuse to show it in the font list!Whatever the reasoning behind this, it's totally creeping me out.(note that the same font—the same files, AFAICT—can be downloaded from Apple directly, but have the prefix SanFrancisco instead of SFNS.)

Reply to Why?
Font is effectively hardly readable, and all the lost space makes it more difficult to browse. In addition, I appreciated the counters of views / edits in previous version. Is there a way other than this forum to push the message to Apple : PLEASE, IMPROVE THE FORUM or return to older one !Globally, there is no pleasure at all in the new user experience. Bad from Apple.

Reply to Can't reply to message in watchOS 2
ive got the same problem, when reciving a message it will show above the clock face after raiseing wirst but no reply button.. reply button only shows in the messages app, well for me anyway.. i also cant get message to send as a SMS either so i think its best to report the bug to apple and wait for Watch OS 2 Beta 2.

Reply to Swift and Mathematics
Yes, Swift should provide more built in functions. For maths, it should speak the language of mathematicians, not of computer scientist.I posted a similar comment for set related functions, where syntax is at odds with the language used for set theory.I expect it from Apple, they learn the (math) language to the machine and not force users to learn machine language.PS: similar for string manipulation which remains very cumbersome with the range ; I would appreciate a more direct manipulation.

Reply to Java SE 6
Hi, i found a solution and it worked for me - try and google Oliver Dowling and Java SE 8 on Mac OSX. There is a good instruction. Follow the steps, Illustrator and co are working right now, what a livesaver. I can't post a link in here, I tryied yesterday, but Apple still wants to moderate my comment.

Mistake in Apple's Crustacean.playground?
I had a look at the Crustacean.playground (which demonstrates protocol oriented programming), available here:https://developer.apple.com/swift/resources/It's a great demonstration but it seems to contain a small mistake in that it says:// Note: the fact that rectangleAt doesn't appear below, but // circleAround does, serves as a demonstration of how dispatching through // protocols works: methods in protocol extensions that don't match a // requirement (such as rectangleAt) are dispatched statically. It is true that rectableAt appears above and not below, but there is no circleAround at all in the output, and there isn't even any circleAround method, just circleAt, which is not appearing anywhere in the output either.Tell me if I'm misunderstanding something, or please correct this otherwise great playground.

Providing a trial of IAPs
According to Apple's guidelines, trial/demo versions are not accepted. But if I provide a miminal functionality in an app, is it ok to provide some previews of the IAPs, like:- enabling all IAPs for the first 30 days- enabling all IAPs for like 1h a dayThe latter I have seen in an app. But of course I don't know if it was ok or just slipped through the review process.Regards,Markus

Can't login to my Apple ID in iMessage
Hey there, community. I've been wondering why imessages were only landing on my laptop/imac and I just realized that after installing iOS9, iMessage was disabled. I enabled it, tapped Use your Apple ID for iMessage, entered my credentials and, after about 20sec of waiting, I was promptly prompted to enter them again (with no error message). Obviously I tried several times with no luck. Right now, iMessage is stuck in waiting for activation. Also, I just got a pop-up asking me to enter my iCloud password, I did and got back an error saying Verification Failed, An unknown error occured Cancel/Try AgainProblems with iCloud ?

Reply to almost afraid to ask on new background modes.
You absolutely have to file enhancement requests and bug reports making your case for the features that you want that iOS doesn't yet support. You probably won't get any direct feedback unless there's difficulty understanding something in your report, but it's still necessary. On the other hand, it's important to remember that Apple applications have both a longer leash (Apple makes the rules) and a shorter leash (Apple's going to be more conservative about most things). The complication with doing a specific task that lasts less than 10 seconds at a specific date and time in the future is one of managing when a dozen different applications all want to do something at the same time. Who goes first? How much time do the have? How does the user tell what's going on? If the foreground application is hogging resources, do you launch late? What happens when you crash in the background?
