iOS 26.2 (23C55): DeviceActivity eventDidReachThreshold fires with 0 Screen Time minutes
On iOS 26.2 (23C55), DeviceActivityMonitor.eventDidReachThreshold fires intermittently for a daily schedule (00:00–23:59) even when iOS Screen Time shows 0 minutes for the selected apps that day. This causes premature shielding via ManagedSettings. Environment: iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 26.2 (23C55). Event selection: 2 apps. Threshold: 30 minutes. Multiple TestFlight users report the same behavior across various app selections and thresholds. Intermittent (~50% of days); sometimes multiple days in a row. Not observed in testing prior to iOS 26.2. Evidence: sysdiagnose + Screen Time screenshots (with 0 screen time on selected apps) + unified logs show UsageTrackingAgent notifying the extension that “unproductive from activity daily reached its threshold,” followed immediately by ManagedSettings shield being applied (extension reacting to the callback). Filed Feedback Assistant: FB21450954. Questions: Are others seeing this on 26.2? Does it correlate with restarting monitoring at interval boundar

Reply to Significantly Delayed App Review
I've been waiting since the 5th of February - it's literally destroyed our momentum and the complete radio silence is totally unacceptable (one 'automated' reply after 2 weeks) - it appears there is nothing I can do to affect this process (at least through their recommended channels - phone support is a waste of time... nice people, but zero influence). I'm not exaggerating when I say I feel totally helpless here. I've never experienced service quite like this. The fact I'm paying for it, beggars belief!!!

Reply to App Review Delay: ‘Waiting for Review’ for 3+ Weeks with No Feedback! Blocking Business Launch
You are not alone! We are having the exact same issue - we've been waiting for over 4-weeks with zero movement, and nothing to suggest anything is likely to change. Phone support has no oversight or influence and I waited over 2 weeks for an 'automated' reply to my support request email (essentially telling me to be patient, and that they're dealing with a large amount of submissions). I'm not sure what to do... Every day that passes is momentum/money/time/enthusiasm lost. It's truly upsetting! Android turned it around in 3 days - I hope for both our sakes that something changes soon! All the best

Reply to "Testflight is currently unavailable" message for all users
Same issue here. It started about 24 hours ago and I haven’t found a solution yet. Things I have already tried: • Rebuilding the app multiple times via GitHub Actions • Regenerating certificates / Match secrets • Waiting 24 hours after upload • Deleting the app and reinstalling • Deleting and reinstalling TestFlight • Restarting the phone multiple times • Verified I’m assigned to the internal tester group in App Store Connect • Confirmed the build status is Complete in App Store Connect The build installs and runs on my phone, but when I open the app page in TestFlight it shows “Couldn’t Load App – TestFlight is currently unavailable.” Also noticing the Apple Watch companion app will not install (stuck installing).

First attempt at a PKPass
This is my first attempt at creating a Wallet pass, actually a generic store card. When I see it with Pass Viewer on macOS, I get 1 look, when I see it with the iPhone simulator or iPhone proper, I get a different view. Neither is what I was hoping for, a simple vertical layout of an address. Could someone steer me in the correct direction? My json: formatVersion: 1, passTypeIdentifier: pass.org.danleys.4KSBarcode, serialNumber: __SERIAL__, teamIdentifier: ----, organizationName: 4 K.I.D.S. Sake, description: 4KSBarcode, logoText: 4 K.I.D.S. Sake, foregroundColor: rgb(255, 255, 255), backgroundColor: rgb(255,0,0), storeCard : { primaryFields : [ { key : ClientID, label : , value : } ], auxiliaryFields: [ { key: street, label: Address, value: 339 Remington Blvd }, { key: city, label: , value: Bolingbrook, IL 60440 } ] }, barcode: { format: PKBarcodeFormatCode128, message: __SERIAL__, altText: __SERIAL__, messageEncoding: iso-8859-1 } } On macOS: On iOS: Thank you. Creating a custom Wallet pass, especially one intended to display a simple vertical layout of an address, can be a bit tricky due to the constraints and specific formatting requirements of Apple's Wallet Pass format. Based on the JSON you've provided, here are some steps and considerations to help you achieve the desired layout: Key Considerations Field Configuration: The primaryFields and auxiliaryFields in your JSON are used to display information on the pass. For a simple address layout, you might want to creatively use these fields. Text Styling: Wallet passes have limited styling options, but you can control the font size, weight, and color to some extent using the textStyle attribute in fields. Layout Adjustments: Since Wallet passes don't support arbitrary layouts, you'll need to fit your content into the available fields and styles. You might need to compromise on the exact layout you envisioned. JSON Adjustments Here's an adjusted version of your JSON that attempts to create a vertical address layout

Confirmation Items Regarding the Mandatory UIScene Lifecycle Support in iOS 27
After reviewing the following Apple Technote, I have confirmed the statement below: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/technotes/tn3187-migrating-to-the-uikit-scene-based-life-cycle In the next major release following iOS 26, UIScene lifecycle will be required when building with the latest SDK; otherwise, your app won’t launch. While supporting multiple scenes is encouraged, only adoption of scene life-cycle is required. Based on the above, I would appreciate it if you could confirm the following points: Is my understanding correct that the term “latest SDK” refers to Xcode 27? Is it correct that an app built with the latest SDK (Xcode 27, assuming the above understanding is correct) will not launch without adopting the UIScene lifecycle, with no exceptions? Is it correct that an app built with Xcode 26 without UIScene lifecycle support will still launch without issues on an iPhone updated to iOS 27?

endless waiting for review
Hey everyone, I need to vent and also ask for some advice because I’m starting to lose my mind here. I submitted a new build for my app 10 days ago, and it has been stuck in Waiting for Review ever since. Not In Review, just waiting in the queue. The App ID is 6759559007 I get that Apple has millions of apps to sift through, but come on. The App Store is a core part of the iPhone experience, and having a review team that moves this slowly feels like a bottleneck that shouldn't exist in 2026. It’s especially frustrating because: There are no rejection messages, so I know it’s not a guideline issue. I have a planned marketing push that is now completely out of sync. There is zero transparency. The status just sits there mocking me. Any advice on how to actually get a human to look at this? Should I reject the binary and resubmit to bump it, or is that just sending me to the back of the line? Feeling pretty hopeless here. Any insights would be hugely appreciated. Thanks

Reply to App Review Pending for Over 2 Months – Blocking Our Business Launch
I’m facing a similar issue where my app has been stuck in the 'Waiting for Review' status for over a month now. During this period, I’ve contacted technical support twice and submitted an expedited review request. I even had a scheduled phone call with Apple support to discuss the app's status. During the call, they mentioned they would notify the review team to look into it, yet 3 days have passed since then with no update. It is quite frustrating to see some developers getting approval within 2-5 days while others, like myself, are stuck for a month or more. This delay is significantly impacting our launch roadmap. Apple advises against withdrawing and resubmitting to avoid losing our place in the queue, but it makes me wonder: how deep is this queue exactly? And why is there such a massive discrepancy in wait times between different developers? Has anyone else experienced a similar 'limbo' even after direct communication with Apple?

Calls on Assistive Access not working
I recently got a new iPhone for my mom so that she could have Assistive Access due to her declining cognitive health. I selected the family members she calls the most as her favorites, but when attempting to call some of said family members (myself included), nothing happens. It works for about half the contacts, and not for the other half. I’m her main caregiver so it’s pretty ironic that I’m one of the ones it doesn’t work with. I’ve tried exiting and re-entering Assistive Access, deleting and re-adding all the contacts, restarting the phone, force-restarting the phone, and checking if the iOS is the most recent update (it is). Nothing works. Please help.

Foveated Streaming - Can I stream Immersive Video from Mac
This is a very exciting feature in 26.4 beta. But from the document, it seems can only integrate with NVIDIA CloudXR™ SDK. I'm wondering if it's possible to use this tool to stream immersive video from Mac to Vision Pro?

Reply to macOS 26.4 Dev Beta 2 Install Fails
Are there any other solutions for this? I still can't update to beta 3 (M1 Pro). I've tried all the ideas I've seen so far :( Update: I figured out the issue; it was the real time virus scanner. So the install was successful.

Reply to BackgroundLocationIndicator Bubble in iOS26
It is still an issue on iPadOS 26.3.1. While it works on and iPhone with iOS 26.3.1 like pre 26, the initially described problem does still exists on an iPad with 26.3.1.
