It works perfect, i can see the view butthe biggest problem is, i don't have the tabbar on this view and i don't know how can show the view with thetabbar.Here are the code:let storyboard = UIStoryboard(name: Main, bundle: nil) let viewController = storyboard.instantiateViewControllerWithIdentifier(imageViewController) as! Hi, I'm trying to learn to program in Objective-C so I can change my career. I have a mortgage to pay so can't go back to formal education because I need my full time job. My question is what's the best way to start off? I've bought the Big Nerds Rand Guide to Objective C but it all just seems to boil my brain. I need to start at the most basic, beginner point there is. Maybe I should start with a simpler Language? I would like to learn more than just iOS languages to improve my job prospects but mainly I'd like a iOS development job of some sort as most programmer jobs seem to be very keen on Degree's, with the exception of iOS which seems to prefer some released apps (excuse me if I'm wrong).Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.
The export for localization feature seems to be promising especially as soon as a project becomes really big in terms of content and languages supported, but I never managet to make it work, nor in Xcode 7 not in Xcode 7.1.1.It always failed and still fails with the same error /usr/bin/xmllint exited with status 1 and no clue about what can be wrong.Please advice what can be done, except for suggesting to do it through terminal, because the error message that I saw in the terminal is also not explaining anything. The interesting fact is that the file is generated, but this error makes me think the importing back will never work.Waiting for this bug to be fixed for quite some time already....
I'm pretty sure the rank is calculated strictly according to the sales. However, it is worth noting that releasing an update, especially a big update that gets you onto the Featured page, will likely give your sales (and therefore your ranking) a boost.

If you have absolutely no programming experience, you should start by taking a few beginning programming courses at your local community college (or any college for that matter).You must have a good understanding of common algorithms, data structures and logic before you even think about learning Objective-C.Like everything else, a solid foundation is essential.It helps if you are the kind of person who is detail-oriented because it's all about the details when writing code.Being a logical thinker to begin with is also a big plus.Unless you are related to Sheldon Cooper, this isn't something that you can do in just a few months.

The VPP is only available in 26 countries. So what about big enterprise companies which have employees in locations not covered by VPP? How do we deploy Managed Apps to them?
I'm trying to use a UIStackView to layout lots of subviews (hundreds or even thousands). Unfortunately it seems that AutoLayout cannot handle views with this many subviews.For comparison, I created a sample app and compared manually computing frames vs. using a UIStackView.Computing Framesstatic const NSInteger numViews = 5000; static const CGFloat viewHeight = 75.0f; static const CGFloat viewWidth = 250.0f; static const CGFloat viewPadding = 8.0f; static const CGFloat initialViewOffset = 25.0f; - (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; CGFloat viewOffset = initialViewOffset; for (int i = 0; i < numViews; i++) { UIView *v = [[UIView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, viewOffset, viewWidth, viewHeight)]; v.backgroundColor = [UIColor grayColor]; [self.view addSubview:v]; viewOffset += viewHeight + viewPadding; } }Memory Usage: 24 MBTime between viewDidLoad and viewDidLoadSubviews: 0.05sAlternate Implementation using UIStackView- (void)viewDidLoad { [super viewDidLoad]; self.stackView = [UIStackView new]; [s
I'm trying to migrate my app from WatchOS1 to WatchOS2, i was sharing data on watch OS1 using app group with the help of core data, so i want same functionality on watch OS2.How to achieve this?When you say “sharing data” do you mean “sharing data between your iPhone app and your WatchKit extension”? If so, there isn’t a direct way to do this on watchOS 2 because the two components and now running on different devices. You will have to significantly rework your data sharing approach.This issue was covered in some detail at WWDC. A good place to start is WWDC 2015 Session 207 WatchKit In-Depth, Part 1. That points to WWDC 2015 Session 713 Introducing Watch Connectivity, which discusses the Watch Connectivity framework, which is likely to be a big part of your solution.This issue is also covered in the watchOS 2 Transition Guide.Share and Enjoy — Quinn The Eskimo! Hi,My C++ project simply computes runtimes from a basic sort funtion.When I compare the times, obtained from the use of difftime and obtained from the time command, I observe a big difference and I don't understand why. Could someone explain me this point ?Thanks in advance :-)Here is the code :// // main.cpp // sortCPP // #include <iostream> #include <list> #include <cstdlib> int main() { int n = 41000000; time_t timer_start; time(&timer_start); // Fills a list std::list<int> myList; for(int i=0; i<n; i++) myList.push_back(rand() % 100000); time_t timer_mid; time(&timer_mid); // Sorts the list myList.sort (std::less<int>()); time_t timer_end; time(&timer_end); std::cout << total : << difftime(timer_end,timer_start) << std::endl; // Displays 41s std::cout << generation : << difftime(timer_mid,timer_start) << std::endl; // Displays 4s std::cout << sort : << difftime(timer_end,timer_mid) << std::endl;
Seems like two big red flags for app review there - 1) collecting personal information (phone number), and 2) unlocking features with a mechanism other than the App Store (in-app purchase).Requiring that would also exclude iPod Touch and iPad users, FWIW. Perhaps not a huge market but why exclude some customers if you can avoid it?

Si je suis chez moi et je veux travailler je laisse mon macbook sur le secteur ou bien sur la batterie sa n'a pas d'effet negative sur l'amortissement du batterie ????Alors c'est mieux de travailler sur le secteur ou sur la batterie !!! Sachant bien de garder la meilleur santé de la batterie ..If I'm at home and I want to work I let my macbook on the sector or on its battery has no negative effect on the amortization of the battery ???? So it's better to work on the sector or the battery !!! Knowing well to keep the best battery health ..
As an app developer, are you expected to buy the iBeacons and then get permission from store owners to install them so that you can use them for your app, or does Apple plan to install beacons into big retail names in the future like Wal-Mart and Target? If so, do we know of a time line when that will start happening?
We can tell you about the negative reviews you're going to get when people end up losing their game progress because they had to:- answer the phone- check their e-mail- check the weatheror do any number of other things that they thought would just be a brief interruption.If you're making a big fancy game that consumes a lot of memory, then when your app is the background it's going to be the top the list for apps to kill to free up memory when the e-mail app asks for more memory.

You are correct. There is no requirement that the app be universal. My experience was that the iPhone storyboard UI would not scale properly when running in iPad simulator – it left a big black bar across the top. The storyboard uses auto-layout and is pinned properly (ie. works on all iPhone screen size variations). Here's what I did and why I say that universal was needed: I duplicated the storyboard, set the view controller up for iPad sizing, and then dynimcally load the correctly storyboard depending on userIntefaceIdiom. However, userInterfaceIdiom always returns iPhone when it's an iPhone-only app so this never loaded the iPad version. The only work around for this was to make the app universal. So, no, I didn't have to build universal but it was the only way to get the storyboard to load apropriately for an iPad screen. All of which, just get an iPhone-only app approved.
