Reply to New onset Metal Validation failure
Further investigation revealed that this bug was only found in a single simulator (iPhone 14 Pro running 16.4) on a single laptop (MacBook Pro 16” 2021) running the release 13.4 Xcode. Since this was a standard baseline Sim for this release of Xcode, I could not figure out how to delete and replace it. The path of least investment and resistance was simply to delete Xcode and reload. my final assessment: a corrupted Sim module. Why it got corrupted is unknown.

I think this is likely a bug in Xcode as I have this issue, too. Can you raise a bug? Grayscale picture on iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 17.0
■detail In a Xamarin iOS app, there is a screen (Screen A) designed for capturing ID photos. We've written code to set the default camera zoom to 2x when opening Screen A, enabling users to take photos by pressing a button. The subsequent screen (Screen B) serves as a preview screen for the photos taken on Screen A. The issue at hand is that photos captured on Screen A are unintentionally displayed in grayscale on Screen B. The correct behavior should be displaying them in color on Screen B. This problem occurs only on iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 17.0; it does not occur on iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 17.1. Moreover, when the code for a 2x zoom is not present during the capture settings, photos are displayed in color on Screen B on iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 17.0. If the code for a 2x zoom is present during the capture settings, and the AVCaptureSession's SessionPreset is set to Preset640x480, the photos are displayed in color on Screen B on iPhone 14 Pro

NFC (ISO7816)- Tag Connection Lost IPhone 15 & 16 variants
NFC reading starts but after BAC, during the reading of DG2 the NFC stops reading and returns with Tag connection Lost error . It almost fails everytime on iPhone 15 Pro max with the following error. What's the solution for this? This is really important because our app entirely relies on the NFC data to proceed forward. This always fails in iPhone 15 & 16. Same card works fine on older iPhone models. What change should we do or include for the newer models. Unfortunately I feel you’re pain. You’re having the same issues I was having. I couldn’t even play Call of duty mobile while running any of the iOS 16 versions. I even tried iOS 16.2 and some other betas. The iPhone 13 Pro Max (what I use) is not a good gaming phone. It has the new “pro-motion” feature that doesn’t having gamers in mind. You can turn off the pro-motion which limits your FPS to 60. But if you leave it on while gaming it constantly changes while playing based on the speed of your finger as you swipe to accelerate or decelerate the refresh rate. It can automatically adjust the refresh rate to as low as 10Hz when you’re not moving in game. It’s a terrible feature and I would have never upgraded my phone knowing this. Why Apple doesn’t have the option to lock in the 120hz is a mystery. Combine this stupid feature with the plethora of performance issue in iOS 16 and you get what you’re dealing with now. SwiftUI Preview Runtime linking failure
Swift Package: I have an old objc library, that is added as XCFramework to swift package as a binary target. targets: [ .target( name: CoreServices, dependencies: [OldContainer], path: CoreServices ), .binaryTarget( name: OldContainer, path: Frameworks/OldContainer.xcframework ), ] This serves the purpose, it builds fine and able to run on simulator. However this framework is breaking the Xcode previews. Build Errors for Reality Composer Pro Packages in Xcode 16 Beta 6 for iOS 18
Using Xcode 15.4, I have successfully built and run my app using Reality Composer Pro Version 1.0 package. I then successfully submitted that app version for release. Now, using Xcode 16 Beta 6, I've created a new branch repository for updating my app for iOS/iPadOS 18 and visionOS 2. However, once I created and switched to the new branch and did a build, I get build errors. It seems to be regarding the package manifest that relates to my Reality Composer Pro package that is part of my app. When I go to the package file in my project navigator and click the Open in Reality Composer Pro button, my package opens in Reality Composer Pro 2.0, which makes sense since it it the version for Xcode 16. However, I don't know how to address/get rid of the build errors. I've added and image of my build errors.

My iPhone 13 pro max takes twice memory space
I bought iPhone 13 pro max 256 GB moved all data from iPhone 6+ 128 GB thought 256 GB will be enough gess what now on my iPhone 13 my memory storage went from 103 on my iPhone 6 to 160 gb on iPhone 13 no one could explain why . my iCloud went from 500 mb to 60 Gb!!! my WhatsUp went from 30gb to over 60 GB please help !!

QR Code Iphone 13 pro
I cannot get the QR code on my new iphone to work. The QR code is turned on under camera and I have all the current updates downloaded. It keeps saying no usable data found when I hold the camera to a QR Code.
