A few days ago I installed beta 1 of macOS 26 Tahoe on a spare MacBook Pro 14-inch M4. Everything went well, and it looks okay (well, I don't like it at all, but hey-ho), and I shut it down. I started it up today, and it rejects my login password every time, then locks my account. When I click the link to Restart and show password reset options I'm asked for my Apple ID details, so I enter the correct email and password, then the MBP reboots and I'm back on the login screen with no indication that anything has changed. Guess I'm stuck now... FB18364657

After installing IOS 12, I find my battery draining very quickly. I see the battery draining as I use apps. I am hoping this will be resolved.
i will go and play games on certian apps like geometry dash and flappy dunk and they are very sluggish at times. is this because of the beta software and has anyone had problems with this?

Since 4 Days I have a Massive Battery Problem with the actually iOS 10.2.1 Beta 2 my Battery goes from 100% to 3 % in about 3 hours. Without using the device.Problem with IPhone 6S and IPad Air 2 Pro both devices have the same Problem :-(
Is anyone else experiencing worse battery life and their phone heating up like a pocket warmer? My battery life is back to what it was like during beta 1. I'm killing location services and the like, but that hasn't made any difference yet. Anyone else? Thanks - Z
Update: 6/21/2015 - 3:43 AM PST - Added third step that may resolve certain issues stemming from prior iOS backups restoring to iOS 9 Beta 1.OK we've done our 24 hours of testing and can very safely conclude that all battery life issues accross three different devices included in the test have been entirely resolved and now the devices are not heating up, charging normally, and retaining a normal rate of discharge on standby. In additio, battery use reports within Settings confirm that the Homescreen no longer is consuming a substantial (more than 20%) portion of the average use of total battery power. (devices are normalizing data still, however to ensure none of you suffer this any further here are the necessary changes)1. Completely disable iCloud Backups on each device running iOS 9 Beta 1 (Use iTunes to Backup and restore devices for now.)2. Disable iCloud drive (if you enabled it) on each device running Beta
The “tapping the x in the search field cancels the search” issue has been in iPadOS 26 since beta 1. iPadOS 26 now emulates how Mac Catalyst apps have behaved for years. The issue doesn’t apply to iOS 26 since that shows a separate Cancel button. You can use FB17888632 as a demonstration of the issue. That is another search related issue I filed against iOS 26 beta 1 that still isn’t fixed in iPadOS 26 beta 9. It’s impacting my app and it also easily demonstrates the issue with the search getting cancelled when tapping the x icon to clear the search.

Battery drains so fast that I have to charge my XR thrice in a day battery health is 88%.. and it dies at 40% in 14.2 iOS died at 20% .. tried all the tricks and tips nothing is useful... apple has lost one loyal customer for life time .!
so far the only issue I’m having since the update yesterday is my Bluetooth. Every time I try to use my Bluetooth headphones since the update, they either just stop working midway through playing a song or watching a video, etc., or they play a super high pitched noise that causes me to have to rip my headphones out of my ears.
It looks like ExtensionKit (and ExtensionFoundation) is fully available on iOS 26 but there is no mention about this in WWDC. From my testing, it seems as of beta 1, ExtensionKit allows the app from one dev team to launch extension provided by another dev team. Before we start building on this, can someone from Apple help confirm this is the intentional behavior and not just beta 1 thing?
Hello everyone, I've noticed some unusual behavior while debugging my application on the iOS 26 beta. My standard testing process relies on the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization status being reset whenever I uninstall and reinstall my app. This is crucial for me to test the permission flow. However, on the current beta, I've observed the following: 1 I installed my app on a device running the iOS 26 beta for the first time. The ATTrackingManager.requestTrackingAuthorization dialog appeared as expected. 2 I completely uninstalled the application. 3 I then reinstalled the app. Unexpected Result: The tracking permission dialog did not appear. And more importantly, the device's advertisingIdentifier appears to have remained unchanged. This is highly unusual, as the IDFA is expected to be reset with a fresh app installation. My question: Is this an intentional change, and is there a fundamental shift in how the operating system han
I am hoping the 2nd beta comes sooner rather than later. This first beta has many issues (yes, to be expected). One that I have never experienced before is that the battery actually drains while it is plugged in. Poor battery life is to be expected and is always an issue in betas, but for it to drop while plugged in and not even charge, is new to me. The only time it will actually charge to full is plugged into power outlet (not computer) and over night. Plugged in anywhere else, it just sits and slowly drains. Charges a little sometimes, but mainly just drains.
