Hello everyone, I've noticed some unusual behavior while debugging my application on the iOS 26 beta. My standard testing process relies on the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization status being reset whenever I uninstall and reinstall my app. This is crucial for me to test the permission flow. However, on the current beta, I've observed the following: 1 I installed my app on a device running the iOS 26 beta for the first time. The ATTrackingManager.requestTrackingAuthorization dialog appeared as expected. 2 I completely uninstalled the application. 3 I then reinstalled the app. Unexpected Result: The tracking permission dialog did not appear. And more importantly, the device's advertisingIdentifier appears to have remained unchanged. This is highly unusual, as the IDFA is expected to be reset with a fresh app installation. My question: Is this an intentional change, and is there a fundamental shift in how the operating system han
I am hoping the 2nd beta comes sooner rather than later. This first beta has many issues (yes, to be expected). One that I have never experienced before is that the battery actually drains while it is plugged in. Poor battery life is to be expected and is always an issue in betas, but for it to drop while plugged in and not even charge, is new to me. The only time it will actually charge to full is plugged into power outlet (not computer) and over night. Plugged in anywhere else, it just sits and slowly drains. Charges a little sometimes, but mainly just drains.
We ran into a bug with our app Bezel (https://getbezel.app). When running on macOS Tahoe, windows would get partially clipped. This is because we have SwiftUI views that are larger than the window size, our SwiftUI views are supposed to be centered, which they are on macOS 13, 14, 15. But on macOS 26 (beta 1), the window contents are top-left aligned. This seems to be a bug, I have submitted FB18201269. This is my code: WindowGroup { ZStack { Color.green ZStack { Color.yellow Text(Hi) } .aspectRatio(1, contentMode: .fill) .border(.red) } } This first screenshot shows the old behavior on macOS 15: This second screenshot shows the new behavior on macOS 26 (beta 1) Can anyone confirm if this is indeed a bug, or if this an intended change in behavior?

Hi all, I'm working on an app that utilizes the FoundationModels found in iOS 26. I updated my phone to iOS 26 beta 3 and am now receiving the following error when trying to run code that worked in beta 2: Al Error: The operation couldn't be completed. (FoundationModels.LanguageModelSession.Genera- tionError error 2.) I admit I'm a bit of a new developer, but any idea if this is an issue with beta 3 or work that I'll need to do to adapt my code to some changes in the AI API? Thank you!

After my phone updated to the iOS 18 Beta, my battery no longer last past 2pm. Before the Beta, my phone would still be at 40% by 11pm. It drops down as soon as I unplug it. It gets really hot with everything I do on it. Hopefully this gets fixed and my battery quits having issues. This same thing happened to my phone back with the iPhone 7. Ended having to trade it in due to battery not last past 12pm.

The isEnabled property on UITabBarItem no longer disables tab bar items as expected in iOS 26. Setting tabBarItem.isEnabled = false on a view controller has no visual or functional effect - the tab remains interactive and doesn't show the disabled state.

im having the same issue, do you think its because of going from 8.4 beta 3 to ios 9 beta 1, i did this not knowing that they were releasing beta 4 the next day. would the battery be better if we went from 8.4 beta 4 to ios 9 beta 1?

After IOS 26 beta 2 installation in my iphone 13, I can't do a screenshot using assistivetouch nor touch on back.
It looks like ExtensionKit (and ExtensionFoundation) is fully available on iOS 26 but there is no mention about this in WWDC. From my testing, it seems as of beta 1, ExtensionKit allows the app from one dev team to launch extension provided by another dev team. Before we start building on this, can someone from Apple help confirm this is the intentional behavior and not just beta 1 thing?
Hi,I have a macbook pro 2016 TB, I had terrible battery drain with 10.12.1. about 6 hours max with browsing and emails, more liek 4-5 hours with more than that.with 10.12.2 beta 5 I had the same battery issue. but with 10.12.2 general release, magic, my battery life is 9-10 hours of emails and browsing. However I get video glitches on startup, just for 10-20 seconds after I loggin, and only on first morninhg loggin!!I updated to 10.12.3 beta 1 and my battery is bad again. I went back to to 10.12.2 and it is fine 10 hours. there is a problem with me for 10.12.3.The diference I see is that at idle the minimum watts I get with battery hgealth is 10W with 10.12.3 and 4-5watts with 10.12.2. there is something the uses battery on the background and that does not show in activity monitor total CPU is very low in both cases.any body sees the same problem?
Calling button flickers when making a call after updating to ios 26 beta 2 kindly solve the issue asap
I'm running iOS 9.3.3 beta 1. Overnight my iPhone downloaded iOS 10.0 beta 1 and is asking me to install it.I don't want that. I want to remove the iOS 10.0 beta 1 download installer from my iPhone and just want to install the new iOS 9.3.3 beta 4.Anyone an idea how to do this? Is really annoying!😕
When beta 1 came it battery life was horrible! It improved each time with beta 2 and 3, but the beta 4 is horrible! I can be charged 100% unplug phone and not even have the display on and it runs down about 15% in less than 5 minutes... almost dead in an hour.Anyone else having these issues or suggestions to fix it? I'm almost considering jumping over to the public beta to see if it is any better.
