Do i really have to incorporate, to update my app?
I’ve been developing apps for 8 years. On the tenth update of my latest app, I got yet another new rejection reason. I co-founded an app called Yuna AI with my wife, who is a Registered Dietitian and a member of the CDO. When trying to release version 1.0.10, I was told I can’t publish it under my name as a sole proprietor. I’m honestly starting to lose faith in the review process. My previous submission was rejected for not properly disclosing in-app purchases, even though my app doesn’t have any in-app purchases. Rejection reason "The app must be published under a seller and company name that is associated with the organization or company providing the services. In this case, the app must be published under a seller name and company name that reflects the Yuna AI name. The guideline 5.1.1(ix) requirements give users confidence that apps operating in highly regulated fields or that require sensitive user information are qualified to provide these services and will responsibly manage their data." Do i really have to pay to incorporate a company to put my app under and a sole proprietorship isn't enough? Im going to be moving soon and probably not best for me to incorporate now in Canada. does that mean i don't get to update my app anymore?

APP WAITING FOR REVIEW 20+ DAYS
My app has been stuck in the "In Review" state for over 20 days now (submitted in mid-February). It is now March, and I have had zero movement. What I’ve checked: Resolution Center: Empty. No pending questions or requests. Account Status: Active and in good standing. This delay is severely impacting our launch timeline. Is anyone else experiencing a similar "Black Hole" right now, or is it just me? If you managed to get yours unstuck, what did you do? Any advice from Apple staff or fellow devs would be greatly appreciated.

App stuck in “Waiting for Review” for more than 30 days
Hello everyone, I’m experiencing an issue with the review process for my app on App Store Connect. My app has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” for over 30 days, and the review process has not started yet. Initially, I submitted the build on February 9, but the status remained “Waiting for Review” for a long time and never moved to “In Review.” Because of this, I canceled the submission and resubmitted the build on February 17. However, even after resubmitting, the app is still stuck in “Waiting for Review.” I also submitted a request for an expedited review, but unfortunately I have not received any response regarding that request either. Since the app status is still “Waiting for Review,” the Resolution Center option is not available yet, so I cannot contact the App Review team directly from there. I also attempted to contact Apple Developer Support but have not received a response yet. Has anyone experienced a similar situation where the app remained in “Waiting for Review” for this long? Any guidance or suggestions on how to move the review process forward would be greatly appreciated. App details: App ID: id6755089083 First Submission Date: February 9 Resubmission Date: February 17 Submission ID: bbad192f-768f-40f6-bcc3-47f30b5ecb6d Thank you for your help.

Waiting for Review: TestFlight 25+ days, Production 10 days, no communication.
Hello, I'm a first time developer and both of my submissions for NexFi - Portfolio Tracker have been suck in Waiting for Review for an extended time. TestFlight: My first build was submitted on Feb 15th (25+ days) and still Waiting for Review Production/Distribution: Submitted March 2nd (10 days) and still Waiting for Review. It is a finance category app (portfolio tracker) that requires no login, no account creation, and no server side user data so I figured it should be a relatively quick process as there is a minimal privacy footprint. Three Apps Stuck in “Waiting for Review” for Over a Month – No Responses Received
Hello, I am trying to understand what is happening with my submissions because the situation has become very unusual. I currently have three applications in the App Store review queue: • Healthoria – submitted Feb 5, 7:01 PM • OrbitGoals – submitted Feb 17, 4:11 PM • Memochron – submitted Mar 10 All three of them are still in “Waiting for Review.” The first submission has now been waiting for over a month. During this time I have sent support emails and submitted an expedited review request, but I have not received any response or update. What makes this situation more confusing is that most developers report review times of 2–3 days. Seeing my apps remain in the queue for weeks without any communication makes it difficult to understand whether there is a technical issue, an account-related delay, or something else affecting the process. I completely understand that review times can vary, but having three separate apps all stuck in the same stage for this long seems highly unusual. If anyone from Apple or other developers have experienced a similar situation, I would greatly appreciate any clarification or guidance. Thank you. Best regards, Berkay

App stuck in “Waiting for Review” for days – No progress from Apple review team
Hello, I submitted my app for review several days ago, but the status is still “Waiting for Review.” It appears that nobody from the Apple review team has started reviewing the app yet. This situation is extremely frustrating and unacceptable for developers who depend on timely reviews to maintain and release their applications. Waiting days, weeks, or even a month just to receive a potential rejection due to a fixable issue wastes a significant amount of time for development teams. The main problem is not only the delay itself, but the lack of progress. The status remains stuck at "Waiting for Review", which suggests that the review process has not even begun. I have also noticed that many other developers are currently experiencing the same issue, which suggests that this may be a broader problem affecting the App Store review system. Could someone from Apple please clarify: Why apps are staying in “Waiting for Review” for so long Whether there is currently a backlog or system issue affecting reviews What developers can do to avoid these long delays At this point, I would really appreciate an immediate solution or at least an explanation for what is happening with the review process. Guideline 1.2 Compliance Notice — Build Awaiting Review, 14-Day Deadline Approaching
Hello, I received a Guideline 1.2 compliance notice for my app OMG: Video Chat (Apple ID: 6756574665) on March 7, 2026, with a 14-day deadline to submit a compliant update. The issues raised in the notice — random matching and anonymous chat — were already resolved in the current live version of the app prior to receiving the notice. Specifically: Random matching has been completely removed. Users browse profiles and choose who to connect with. All calls require mutual consent via Accept/Decline. Sign in with Apple is mandatory — no anonymous or guest access exists. Selfie-based age verification is active. Full moderation system is in place: content filtering, user reporting, blocking, and 24/7 monitoring. I responded to the notice on March 7 with a detailed explanation, screen recording, and screenshots demonstrating the current app flow. I also submitted a compliant build and requested an expedited review. As of today (March 12), I have received no acknowledgment, no feedback, and the build has not entered review. The deadline is March 21. I have also contacted Developer Support, the App Review Board, and sent a direct email to the App Review team — all without a substantive response. I have done everything required on my end. The delay is entirely outside of my control. I am respectfully requesting assistance to ensure my build is reviewed before the deadline. Thank you for any help.

1 Month anniversary of "waiting for review"
Just want to celebrate with you all that today, is the 1 month anniversary of my app waiting for review. Submitted on Feb 12th, been waiting ever since. App ID is 6758779640 - not that it matters, because it really seems that no one at Apple is listening. So, one month of waiting time, on a £79 developer fee... that's £6.58 wasted ;) Phone support already requested an expedited review. Nothing happens. This is a joke. Actually now looking, as an Apple first user, and on-off developer for 25 years, to port all my current in progress work to Android and launch there first instead.

App stuck in “Waiting for Review” for several weeks — anyone seeing similar delays recently?
Hello everyone, I wanted to check whether other developers are currently experiencing unusually long “Waiting for Review” times. Our app Aslan Wealth (App ID: 6755077470) has been stuck in Waiting for Review for quite a while and has never entered the “In Review” stage. Timeline Feb 18, 2026 – Version submitted for review Feb 23 – Contacted Apple Developer Support regarding review status Feb 24 – Received reply that the case was escalated to the review team Mar 3 – Still in Waiting for Review (confirmed by support that the app is still in the queue) Mar 7–11 – Followed up with Developer Support again Mar 12 – Still Waiting for Review So the app has now been waiting for review for more than 3 weeks without ever entering active review. Additional information All agreements are active No messages in Resolution Center Build was not modified after submission App status remains Waiting for Review Questions Has anyone else recently experienced similar multi-week delays in the “Waiting for Review” stage? If so: Did your app eventually move to In Review without changes? Did Apple provide any explanation for the delay? Is there anything developers can do to help move the process forward? Any recent data points or experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

App stuck in “Waiting for Review” for over a month – multiple contacts with Apple but no progress
Hello everyone, I would like to ask if other developers are currently experiencing unusually long App Review delays for new apps. Here is my timeline for this app (Apple ID: 6758083858): Jan 22, 2026: Initial build submitted Jan 22 – Mar 7, 2026: Status remained “Waiting for Review” and never entered the “In Review” stage Mar 7, 2026: Cancelled and resubmitted a new build Current status: Still “Waiting for Review” During this period, I have already tried several ways to resolve the issue: Contacted Apple Developer Support multiple times Submitted an expedited review request Sent follow-up emails regarding the delay Contacted Apple support by phone and asked them to leave a message for the App Review team Each time I was told that the situation would be checked or that the review team would look into it. However, it has now been about two weeks since my last contact and there has been no update or progress. While browsing the Developer Forums, I also noticed that many recent posts seem to describe the same situation, especially with new app submissions stuck in “Waiting for Review”. So I would like to ask: Are other developers currently experiencing similar delays? Has anyone recently seen their new app move from “Waiting for Review” to “In Review”? Could this be related to a broader App Review queue slowdown? Any recent experiences or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

App stuck in “Ready for Review” for many days – is there currently a delay in App Review?
Hello everyone, I would like to ask if other developers are currently experiencing long delays to approve an app. In my case, my macOS app update (version 1.1) has been stuck in “Ready for Review” for more than 8 days without entering the review phase. Timeline: • Feb 21 – Initial submission • Feb 22 – In Review • Feb 25 – Rejected • Feb 25 – Resubmitted • Mar 2 – In Review • Mar 2 – Rejected • Mar 5 (Wednesday) – Submitted again → Ready for Review • Today – Still Ready for Review, never entered In Review All issues mentioned in the previous rejections were fixed and the build was resubmitted successfully. What also confuses me is that in the App Review section I see a red exclamation mark, even though there are no unresolved messages and the build shows as submitted. I would like to ask: • Are others currently seeing unusually long delays? • Could this indicate a queue issue or system problem? • Has Apple changed something recently in the review pipeline? Normally my previous versions were reviewed and approved in a couple of days, so this delay seems quite unusual. Thanks in advance for any insight from other developers.

App in Review Since Feb 25 – Time-Sensitive Sports App – Seeking Guidance
Hello App Review Team and iOS Developer Community, We submitted our iOS application on February 25, and within a few hours its status changed to “In Review.” Shortly after that, we received a call from the App Review team requesting some clarification. We provided the requested information during the call, and the same request was later posted in App Store Connect as an unresolved issue. We responded to the request within an hour, providing all the necessary details. However, since then we have not received any further updates regarding the review status. Because this application is related to upcoming sports events, the timing is quite critical. Our client, who owns the sports rights, had planned a launch event on March 6, but unfortunately it had to be postponed because the iOS app was not yet available on the App Store. The sports events are scheduled to begin next week, and our client is planning a marketing campaign ahead of the events, which depends on the app being available. We have already: Submitted an Expedited Review request Contacted Apple Support twice via email At the moment we are unsure how to proceed, as we expected the review process to be completed within the typical 24 hour timeframe mentioned in Apple’s documentation. Does anyone know if there is any additional way to contact the App Review team or any steps we can take to help move the review forward? If any Apple staff member is able to look into this, we would be happy to provide the App ID or additional details via a private support channel if needed. Thank you for your support.

App stuck "In review" for multiple days
Hi everyone, My app has been stuck on "In Review" for about 3 days now. Before that, it also spent around 3 days in "Waiting for Review," so the total time has been close to 6 days. From what I’ve seen in the past, it usually takes 2–3 days to move from "Waiting for Review" to "In Review," and then only a few hours to get a decision once the review actually starts. However, this time it seems different. Based on my server/Firebase logs, it doesn’t look like the reviewer has opened the app yet or created a test account, so it seems like the review may not have actually started. This is my first app submission, so I’m not sure if that might affect the timeline. Has anyone experienced something similar recently? Is this normal, or is there something I should do (for example, contacting App Review or requesting an expedited review)? Any advice would be appreciated.

App stuck in "Waiting for Review" since Feb 20 – no response to support ticket
Hello everyone, My app has been in "Waiting for Review" status since February 20, and it still hasn’t moved to the review stage yet. On March 9, I submitted a support ticket asking whether there might be any issue with my submission or if additional information is required from my side. However, I have not received any response from Apple so far. At this point, I’m not sure if I should continue waiting or if there is anything else I should do to resolve the situation. App ID: 6759365919 Ticket ID: 102839874589 If anyone has experienced a similar situation or if an Apple staff member could help check the status, I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Auto-renewable subscriptions stuck in "Waiting for Review" causing StoreKit products unavailable during App Review
Hello, We are hoping someone from Apple or other developers who have encountered this recently can help clarify the correct process, as we appear to be stuck between the current App Store Connect UI and documentation that references an older submission flow. Issue during App Review Our app is being rejected with: Guideline 2.1(b) – Performance – App Completeness Subscriptions in the app were still unavailable for users to purchase. However, the subscriptions do exist and are configured correctly in App Store Connect. The app contains four auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and yearly tiers across two service levels). All of them are currently in “Waiting for Review” status. The app uses RevenueCat with StoreKit to retrieve products. When products are still Waiting for Review, Apple does not return them to StoreKit, which results in the app correctly reporting that the subscriptions are unavailable. Because of this, it appears that the reviewer may be testing the app before the subscriptions have been approved, preventing StoreKit from returning the products. Problem with Apple documentation / submission workflow The responses we are receiving from App Review repeatedly point us to the documentation: “Submit an In-App Purchase” (App Store Connect Help → Manage submissions to App Review) This documentation states that subscriptions must be attached to the app version using the: “Select In-App Purchases or Subscriptions” option on the version page. However, this control does not exist in our App Store Connect interface. Our interface appears to follow the newer App Store Connect submission flow, where subscriptions are configured and submitted from their own product pages, and are automatically bundled with the app submission. Because of this: The “Select In-App Purchases or Subscriptions” step referenced in the documentation cannot be completed. There is no “Add” or “Select” button on the version page. This leaves us stuck in a loop where: Apple support points us to documentation describing the older workflow. The step described in the documentation does not exist in the current UI. The app is reviewed before the subscriptions are approved, causing the purchase flow to appear unavailable. Attempts to resolve We have already: Verified product identifiers match between App Store Connect and RevenueCat Confirmed RevenueCat is using the correct Apple public SDK key Verified the offerings and packages are correctly configured Confirmed the app fetches the correct product identifiers Followed the “Submit an In-App Purchase” documentation thoroughly Despite this, we cannot complete the step described in the documentation because the UI element referenced there is not present. Additionally, we have: Submitted multiple App Store Connect review responses Submitted multiple support requests Unfortunately, the replies we receive continue to reference the same documentation without addressing the specific issues described above. What we are hoping to clarify We would really appreciate if someone could address the following questions specifically, rather than pointing us back to the same documentation: In the current App Store Connect submission flow, how are subscriptions supposed to be associated with a new app version if the “Select In-App Purchases or Subscriptions” option no longer exists? When subscriptions are Waiting for Review, will StoreKit return them to the app during App Review, or must they be approved first before they can be fetched? Is there anything additional required in the new submission flow to ensure subscriptions are reviewed and available before the app is evaluated? Request If someone from Apple or another developer who has encountered this recently could please respond directly to the issues described above, it would be greatly appreciated. At the moment we appear to be stuck between: documentation referencing a previous App Store Connect workflow, and the current UI, which does not allow that documented step to be completed. Thank you for your time, and any clarification would be very helpful.

Hello everyone, I am an iOS developer and my new app is having a long, unusual App Store review delay that I have not been able to resolve through the normal support channels.
