We are experiencing an issue with Apple Business Manager (ABM) synchronization that is blocking our device management workflow.
Issue Description:
During the ABM sync process in our MDM, we receive the error:
"ABM Terms and Conditions not signed."
What We’ve Checked:
Logged into the ABM portal as the Administrator and confirmed that the latest Terms and Conditions.
Attempted to renew the ABM token on our existing server, but the same error message continues to appear in MDM. Tried creating a brand new ABM server integration, which also fails with the same error.
We checked with our MDM provider and they shared the logs, response received from ABM. It says T_C_NOT_SIGNED. But we have already accepted all the new Terms in ABM.
We would appreciate any help in resolving this issue or guidance on what steps to take next.

We are trying to develop an app that will be responsible for managing 5000+ managed iPads through Intune MDM. The user flow is to have a device locked to a single app when a user is not logged in, but to make the device available to other apps once a user is authenticated.
We already tried UIAccessibility GuidedAccess Mode and autonomous single app mode but those were not sufficient due to our need to be able to toggle this from the background. When the device may be asleep.
So another way we could achieve this functionality would be to control all app access under a launching mechanism. That way we could allow one app to be visible in our MDM configuration and try to access our business app through that using deep links.
If this were to work, we would have to be able to hide an app and still make it launchable from the manager.
Any ideas? Thanks
Hello all,
My question is, how to get APP (specialized in make SOPs for industrial users) that has already been listed outside of mainland China to be listed on apple store of mainland China?
Can I simply refile it to cover China mainland with existing apple developer account or do I have to create a new local apple developer account to start the listing process?
Your advise and help will be highly appreciated.
Thank you,

Hello
We have devices setup with in ABM and managed with Intune. Having only ever setup shared iPad's, we have a new request with managing iPhone's.
The customer wants the iPhone's managed, but users enabled to purchase apps for the app store using their own credit card (or Apple ID) These are not BYOD devices and federated sign is not an option at this time. Can this be done with example User affinity profiles?
Many thanks

We’re using the Apple Developer Enterprise Program for internal app distribution. The Apple ID is a generic one using our domain email, but the Account Holder is a real person with authority in the organization.
For the payment method, we plan to use a corporate credit card — but it is issued under a different staff name (e.g. card under Chief, but Account Holder is IT Head).
Just want to check:
• Is this setup acceptable?
• Will Apple reject the enrollment/renewal if the card name doesn’t match the Account Holder?
• What’s the best practice in this case to avoid delays or verification issues?
Appreciate any guidance or experience from the community.
Thanks!
Why don't obtain equipment list (https://mdmenrollment.apple.com/server/devices) interface returns "device_family" contour information. This interface only returns some fields, and many field values are not returned
Hello,
We‘ve submitted for enrollment as an organization in December. So far it is still pending, and we get same reply from developer support team:
Your enrollment is pending.
How else can we contact Apple team? How long can this take?
📱 [iOS 26.1 beta 2] allowCamera restriction not working properly on both supervised and BYOD devices
Details:
Device: iPhone 12 Pro Max
System: iOS 26.1 beta 2
Issue Description:
When testing MDM device restriction capabilities on iOS 26.1 beta 2, I found that the allowCamera restriction does not work as expected.
Observed Behavior:
• On a BYOD device:
When allowCamera is set to false, the Camera and FaceTime apps disappear from the Home Screen, as expected.
However, third-party apps (such as WeChat) can still access the camera and take photos.
• On earlier versions (e.g. iOS 26.0.1):
Setting allowCamera to false correctly blocks all apps, including third-party apps, from accessing the camera.
Initially, I assumed Apple might have changed this restriction behavior so that allowCamera only applies to supervised devices.
However, after testing on supervised devices, I found that even there, when allowCamera is set to false, the Camera and FaceTime apps are hidden, but third-party apps can still use the camera.
This indicates that the restriction is not functioning correctly in iOS 26.1 beta 2.
Expectation:
When allowCamera is set to false, all camera access — including third-party apps — should be blocked.
Request:
Could someone from Apple’s development or MDM team confirm whether this is an expected behavior change or a potential bug in iOS 26.1 beta 2?

Hi,
Is there a method to hide individual items in System Settings that is not Deprecated?
It needs some of the settings set and hidden for the end user. I found the DisabledSystemSettings key however it is marked as Deprecated and does not include all the new items, especially those related to Apple Intelligence.
Is there any method other than “Restrictions” that does not hide and only set individual settings ?
It needs to hide items in system settings :)

I am using system_profiler command to check on the installed application list from mac device.
**Terminal command to check installed java version - **
But while running /usr/sbin/system_profiler SPApplicationsDataType -xml , I cant able to find Java as an installed application.
Is this a known issue or do we have any alternative workaround to fetch the same?

Hi,
We developed a Platform SSO extension for our IdP, Keycloak. It would be great to get some feedback on it:

Hello,
I’m facing an issue while trying to add iOS devices to Apple Business Manager (ABM) using Apple Configurator during enrollment. When going through the setup process, the device fails to complete enrollment and times out.
I’ve tried it multiple times. The device does appear in ABM during the process and I am able to assign it to different MDM servers but since the setup times out and fails, the device is automatically released. I have tried this with multiple iOS devices and it times out on every single one of them.
Steps attempted:
Factory reset and re-enrollment of the device
Ensured network connectivity is stable and tested on multiple Wi-Fi networks
Tried the following process using Apple Configurator on Mac (wired):
Created a Wi-Fi profile in Configurator
Connected the iPhone via cable and used Prepare (manual configuration)
Used the “MDM server” placeholder and trusted anchors (as recommended)
Linked the device to the ABM organization
Skipped Setup Assistant steps
Attached the Wi-Fi profile, then prepared and wiped the device
Verified that the device should appear in ABM
Attempted to assign the device to my MDM in ABM
Despite these checks, the enrollment process times out.
I’m attaching a screenshot of the error for reference.
Could someone advise what might be causing this timeout or how I can further troubleshoot this? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I developed a Platform Single Sign-On extension and a corresponding extension for my IdP, which is Keycloak based. The code for both projects are here:
https://github.com/unioslo/keycloak-psso-extension
and
https://github.com/unioslo/weblogin-mac-sso-extension
I realized that, when using the Secure Enclave as the AuthenticationMethod, and according to Apple's documentation, the Extension doesn’t obtain fresh ID Tokens when they expire if the refresh token is still valid.
When using password as the Authentication Method, it fetches new ID tokens when they expire, without prompting the user for credentials, by using the refresh token.
My suggestion is that the same behavior should be implemented for Secure Enclave keys.
The thing here is that usually, on OIDC flows, the ID/Access tokens are short-lived. It would make sense for the extension to provide fresh ID tokens. It doesn’t seem to make sense for me that, when using passwords, the extension would fetch these tokens, and not when having the Secure Enclave key.
By not doing this, Apple almost forces the developer of an extension to fetch new ID tokens themselves, which doens’t make sense when it clearly provides fresh tokens when using passwords. It almost forces the developers to either implement that logic themselves, or to issue longer tokens, which is not so nice.
How so you deal with this? Do you simply use the refresh token as an authentication token, or do you do some sort of manual refresh on the extension?
Before iOS26.1, allowCamera set false, all app can't use camera.
On iOS26.1, allowCamera set false, removes camera icon from the Home Screen, but third app can still use camera, such as Safari and other apps that can call camera.
Is it a bug or a new features?
I applied over a month ago and haven't heard back to the Apple Small Business Program. What should I do to speed things up?
Hello,
I have an issue with DurationUntilRemoval—it never deletes my profile. I installed it via my MDM server and also tried installing it using Apple Configurator 2. The device is in supervised mode.

We are experiencing a lot of problems deploying an enterprise app for in-house use since late January. All our iPads are managed by an MDM solution. It can take 10 or more attempts to successfully deploy the app. The deployment usually fails with the message "ASDErrorDomain error 854" among other messages. The company providing the MDM solution has no idea what causes this message or what it means. I suspect the error message is not generated by the MDM solutiion but rather gets passed through from iOS. After many attempts the installation may succeed suddenly, though, and the apps works as expected, but this may take weeks.
I have not done any changes to my development system. 'I am running XCode 15.3 with SDK version 17.4, the iPads are on iOS 18.3

Hello, this may not be the correct place to ask this question so I apologize in advance if this is the case.
I am currently running into two specifc issues while continuing to implement the app.managed configuration which are quite frustrating and I will detail them below
Unlike MDM where an application could be "reinstalled", by sending an install application command down for the same app DM does not have a similar mechanism which causes some issues as (while inconsistent) devices do not always respect the configuration sent down, and will not begin downloading VPP applications. They can be seen in the configuration when checking under VPN & Device Management but they do not return on a status report, alternatively and app will "install" but will have a cloud symbol next to it requiring a download (which I believe would be impossible on supervised devices without apple accounts/have restricted apple accounts associated to them). These apps are also reported incorrectly, as they return a managed response while being inaccessible. Both of these issues are solved by removing and reinstall applications (occasionally). Is there any easier way to trigger a re-install or is this the only way to trigger this?
The Version element that can be optionally sent down does not seem to work (or if it does, does so inconsistently). A device will very happily download the application initially with the version element present, though when we detect an updated external ID from the VPP program and send down an updated configuration devices behave unexpectedly. Some have ignored it, some have responded back that a download has begun (with no download taking place and the application clearly still being the initial installed version as can be see in the apps page) or it just works, but there is not consistency. I realize a new UpdateBehavior object has been added to possibly handle this, but it is only supported in iOS 26 and above and there are plenty of people who do not have phones that can upgrade that far. Are there alternative ways to enforce an application update other than uninstalling and reinstalling the application without the version (or will sending down a config without a version after one was originally pinned force it to update to latest?)
Kind Regards
Hello,
I've noticed some unexpected behavior when updating a user's FileVault password.
The set up:
All actions are performed in virtualized macOS 14 and 15.5 guests on a 15.5 Apple Silicon host.
FileVault is enabled.
sjsp is a standard user with a Secure Token.
The Mac is bound to AD, and the domain is reachable.
Reproduction:
systemctl -secureTokenStatus sjsp shows it's ENABLED.
fdesetup remove -user sjsp
fdesetup add -usertoadd sjsp
systemctl -secureTokenStatus sjsp shows it's DISABLED.
Surprisingly, sjsp is still able to unlock FileVault.
Looking at unified logs for opendirectoryd and fdesetup, I see that a password change is being attempted in response to fdesetup add, which is unexpected.
