Walkie-Talkie app missing in watchOS 27 beta
While testing the watchOS 27 beta, I noticed that the standalone Walkie-Talkie app has been removed from the system. Walkie-Talkie has always been a great, lightweight way to stay connected. Much like Digital Touch, it’s one of those quick, low-friction features that makes the watch feel uniquely personal for communication throughout the day. I am really hoping its absence is just a temporary beta omission rather than a permanent retirement of the feature. I have already submitted a request via Feedback Assistant asking the engineering team to consider keeping it in the final release. If you also rely on this app for quick wrist-to-wrist updates, I highly recommend submitting your own feedback ticket to let the team know there is still an active user base for it. (FB23040695) Has anyone else ran into this or found an official note from Apple regarding its removal in the release notes? Hopefully, we will see it return before the public release this fall. Over and out!

Macbook M2
Good morning, everyone, I have been on a journey in web and mobile development since 2013, and I have now managed to buy my first used iPhone 12. Developing for Apple is difficult for me because I have to rent a MacBook every week. I am reaching out to the community for help; if anyone has a MacBook to assist me in this situation, I would be open to donations. This is one of the apps I have developed and successfully launched: https://apps.apple.com/br/app/marapp-delivery/id6755965892

Apple TV 4K AirPlay popup
I will turn on my Apple TV 4K, select my profile, and then I will receive an error for AirPlay that says unable to connect. I am not trying to utilize AirPlay at this time. Sometimes, when I select "OK," it goes away and stays away. However, sometimes I will select "OK" and it will pop up again immediately. When I unplug it and plug it back in it works. It is on the latest Developer Beta. Is anyone else experiencing this bug? I have reported it via the Feedback app.

Home not functioning properly
Hello, I wanted to share my experience with a recent bug I am having to see if anyone else is having the same issue. Recently, all of my devices will show as unresponsive on the Home app sometimes, and it will typically be accompanied by my Home Hubs also being unresponsive. Sometimes it works just fine. My iPhone is on the Developer Beta, as is my Apple TV 4K. However, my HomePod mini is on the 26 Beta still. The other members of my household are on the latest official release version. There is also another issue my Apple TV 4K is having... but I will make a separate post for that. Let me know if you are also experiencing this.

Persistent Kernel Panics and Automatic Reboots on M5 Pro MacBook Pro
A brand-new MacBook Pro (M5 Pro, 24GB RAM) is experiencing frequent, severe kernel panics. The system freezes completely for a few seconds before executing an automatic reboot or shutdown. This behavior occurs roughly 10+ times per day, significantly disrupting production work. The issue initially triggered immediately after migrating data from a base M4 MacBook Pro via Migration Assistant. Steps Taken & Troubleshooting Hardware Diagnostics: Ran Apple Diagnostics locally; all hardware checks passed with no errors detected. OS Updates: Installed the minor macOS patch intended to resolve M5 automatic reboot bugs. The issue persisted. System Erase: Performed a complete factory reset ("Erase All Content and Settings") and a clean OS reinstallation as advised by Apple Support. Beta Testing: Upgraded to the macOS Tahoe Beta following guidance from a DST Engineer who indicated the issue was addressed in this build. The frequent crashes continue to occur on the beta track. Case / Feedback Reference Feedback ID: FB23273513 (Captured after the system format)

I haven't heard back since I submitted my ID to Apple's Developer Program.
After paying the fee to join the Apple Developer Program, I received a message asking me to submit photos of my ID through Apple to complete the activation of my Developer Program account, but it’s been a month since I submitted my documents, and I haven’t heard back. I’ve written to support, but I haven’t received a reply. I should mention that this is the first time I’ve signed up for this service. I’ve never done this before.

Apple Developer Program Enrollment PROBLEM
Hello, I'm having a serious problem registering for the Apple Developer Program, and I can't resolve it. I applied over two weeks ago, but I still haven't received an activation email. I've also tried using different credit cards, suspecting there might be a problem with my payment method. The main issues are as follows: My order/registration remains in the "processing" status, I haven't received an activation email, Apple Developer Program support isn't responding. I've already sent over seven emails to support, but haven't received any response or updates. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation?

Apple Devices
Hey all, I hope this is in the right spot. As of today, Apple devices (the program) has failed me 5-6 times when backing up and/or updating my phone. The app hangs in step/phase 2 during the handshake, leading to infinite loading and no backup. The app then will not allow me to cancel the sync or backup, and I must then force quit it. I'm running a custom built windows 11 PC, and, before ANYONE says anything, I no longer have access to a MacOS computer. These are my specs: Gigabyte X470 AORUS GAMING 5 WIFI, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor, Windows 11 (64 bit), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, 32 gb of ram, and multiple drives but the NVME (main drive) is a Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 500gb. My phone has also been forced into recovery mode while updating the phone via cable and Apple Devices. I'm on an iPhone 13. Now, the temporary fix to the backup issue was plug the phone into the back of the machine. That started and finished the backup. BUT, the backup doesn't always work if: OneDrive is running (there's a sync issue when OneDrive tries to sync data from Apple Devices/Music while the app(s) are being used. The phone doesn't receive the handshake, as in it never gets the "trust this PC, enter pass-code prompt". If a third party or slower apple cable is used. On the topic of the phone going into recovery while updating it via Apple Devices, the update gets to a point where I get an error. I don't remember the exact error and I am very hesitant to replicate it. It results in the phone going into recovery, and the phone being unable to restore a backup from the PC. I don't know if this is a port issue, or if anyone else has had this, but if you have, please chime in. I'm hopefully going to change out my mobo at some point due to the fact its one of the worse ones out on the market, but as of writing this I don't have the ability to. I hope this message reaches the Apple Developers, and if this is not the correct place to contact them, please let me know. I've spoken to advisors and senior staff, and they have put in feedback for me and have also reached out to the developers. I just figured I'd add in my two cents. Yes, I put in a feedback form, and yes I've talked to Apple Support. Thank you for reading all the way down here, and thank you for your time.

Guideline 4.3(a) Appeal – No Response After 12 Days
Hello everyone, I’m looking for advice from developers who have been through a Guideline 4.3(a) (Design – Spam) rejection. Our game was rejected under Guideline 4.3(a). We genuinely believe it is an original Unity project that we developed from scratch. Instead of immediately submitting a new build, we replied through the Resolution Center with extensive supporting documentation, including: Figma design history Unity project structure Development timeline Original UI/UX workflow Comparisons explaining how our game differs from similar titles We also submitted a formal appeal to the App Review Board and later sent a polite follow-up message. It has now been 12 days since our last message, and we still haven’t received any response from Apple. I’m not asking whether our rejection was correct or incorrect. I’m simply trying to understand the review process. For developers who have experienced this: Is waiting 10–14+ days after submitting evidence normal? Did Apple eventually respond? Did they continue the conversation in the Resolution Center, or did they ask for a new build? Is there anything else we should do besides waiting? Any experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Contact names disappeared after syncing Messages in iCloud on new Mac
I got my first Mac today (14-inch M5 Pro MacBook Pro running the latest version of macOS). My iPhone 15 Pro is running iOS 27 Developer Beta 2. Before setting up my Mac, I went to Messages in iCloud on my iPhone and tapped Sync Now. The sync completed successfully, and all of my contacts and contact names were still there. I then signed into my new Mac and started syncing Messages in iCloud. The sync started but eventually changed to “Syncing Paused.” Right after that, random contact names disappeared from both the Contacts app and Messages on my Mac, and then the same random contact names disappeared from my iPhone. Now both my Mac and iPhone say “Syncing Paused.” If I tap Sync Now, it briefly says “Syncing…” and then goes right back to “Syncing Paused” (or on my iPhone, the Last Sync time never updates). Has anyone experienced this? I’m trying to figure out if this is an iCloud issue or a bug related to iOS 27 Developer Beta 2. If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.

Unable to Complete Apple Developer Payment for Over 6 Months
Hello everyone, I'm looking for help regarding a payment issue that has been preventing us from renewing/paying our Apple Developer account. For more than 6 months, we've been trying to resolve this problem. Our account was previously locked, and after a long process we finally regained access. However, every time we attempt to make the payment, Apple reports a payment failure. Here's what we've already done: Contacted our bank multiple times. Verified that the card is active and enabled for international payments. Confirmed that there are sufficient funds available. Tried different devices and payment attempts. Followed the instructions provided by Apple Support. The bank has confirmed that there is no issue on their side, yet the payment continues to fail. We are currently under significant time pressure because we have an application ready for release, and our client is waiting. This issue is delaying our project and we don't know what else to try. Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Were you able to resolve it, and if so, how? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Order Number: 102906763319 Thank you.

watchOS 27 Developer Beta: App Switcher no longer accessible via double-press of Digital Crown
Hello, I updated my Apple Watch SE 3 (GPS + Cellular, 44 mm) to watchOS 27 Developer Beta (Build 24R5289n) and noticed what appears to be a change in the Digital Crown behavior. After the update: • A single press of the Digital Crown now shows fewer applications, which seems consistent with the changes announced for watchOS 27. • However, a double press of the Digital Crown no longer opens the App Switcher as it did previously. • As a result, I can no longer access the interface that allowed users to view recent apps and force-close applications by swiping them away. Before updating, double-pressing the Digital Crown opened the App Switcher and provided a way to close running apps. That functionality now appears to be missing. I would like to know whether: This is an intentional design change in watchOS 27. This is a known issue in the current Developer Beta. There is a new gesture or workflow for accessing recent apps and force-closing applications. Device: Apple Watch SE 3 (GPS + Cellular) 44 mm Aluminum Model: MEPJ4LW/A Software: watchOS 27.0 Developer Beta Build: 24R5289n The behavior is reproducible after restarting the watch. Thanks.

Apple Developer Program Enrollment Still Processing After Several Days
Hello everyone, I recently enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an Individual developer, and my enrollment is still being processed. My enrollment was submitted on June 17, 2026, and I currently have an open support case (102921992970) with Apple Developer Support. Unlike some payment-related issues discussed here, I have not been charged yet, and no payment has been processed from my card. My enrollment simply remains in a pending/processing state. At the moment, I have not received any requests for additional information or documentation. My support case remains open, but I have not yet received an update regarding the status of the review. I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced a similar delay recently. How long did your enrollment take to be approved? Were you contacted for additional verification? Is it normal for enrollment review to take more than a few business days before payment is processed? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kind regards, Famous Macaulay
