When I try to run a simple executable from Cmake, I get this error.

I have tried looking for my file
sudo find / -name libSystem.B.dylib
but not luck.
I am using an M1 chip and Ventura 13.1. Please ask for more details if you need them, as I really have no idea what to do about my problem.

I have an iPhone 14 running iOS 16.1 and my series 5 watch running watchOS 9.1. I was able to turn on Developer Mode on the phone by going to Settings--> Privacy & Security --> Developer Mode. On the watch however (I'm doing this directly on the watch and not on the watch app on the phone) once I'm in Privacy & Security, there is no option to select Developer Mode. How do I get my watch in Developer Mode in order to get a successful build in xCode?
Description
When starting the iOS simulators on macOS-15 intel image, the following assertion happens: The same issue not showing for macOS 15-arm64 image. Here is the issue details: https://github.com/actions/runner-images/issues/10925 raised by multiple users.
AVPIdentity: AppleVirtualPlatformHostKey.mm:234: Assert: platformExpert, value: 0
AVPIdentity: AppleVirtualPlatformHostKey.mm:234: Failed to get AppleVirtualPlatformARMPE service.
The Simulators worked fine the day before the above issue was posted. What changed? Did something update?

hello developers,
First priority I couldn't find a proper title for the question :(
The reason why I open a topic here is not to find the answer by direct point shooting; My goal is what do Apple, Developer, Companies and Devops teams think and comments about the subject I'm going to ask here?
We use Jenkins as the Devops CI/CD tool at our company, and in Macos/Apple/iOS development, we use a lot of Mac Mini devices. Since we build/compilers on a project-based, version-based basis, we cannot get 100% efficiency from our devices. (For example, because the dependencies of a project are different from other projects; we dedicate only 1 Mac Mini to that project. (As the dependecys of the projects are too many and large, the migration process is very difficult for us, the cost of moving to a lower-level Mac Mini device is high / but this is just an example))
While researching, I saw that there is no docker container image for MacOs X (enterprise or legal) and I know about the Apple EULA. (For virtualization, Apple hardware must be used as a basis. Because the MacOs system is paid for on a device-based basis.)
What I want to ask here is can I find or create a MacOs docker container image legally?
How is the structure of other companies in their CI processes?
If I install MacOs with more than one VMware/VirtualBox on Mac Mini, What harm could it do me in Jenkins? (I'm curious about people's comments on this.)

I am getting the following warning printed in the console while my app is running
Invalid profile 'c2ci': tags 'gTRC' and 'desc' overlap
Console metadata specifies it comes from ColorSync at com.apple.colorSync
How to fix this? It prints a lot in the console.
Is it even possible or part of VisionOS?
Thanks,
Colin

Hi everyone,
usually i used to work on my xamarin application from a windows OS using Visual Studio application.
When testing IOS apps i used to connect to macbook that my boss has to my windows pc.
Nowdays i have a big problem while i try to publish an app. I select Release configuration, rebuild the project and in this case it asks me to login in with my Apple developer account but i always get an errore:
'There is an error while trying to access the auth service is not available'
Does anyone know a different way to publish an IOS app? I really do not know what to do.
This is my first time trying to publish an IOS app..

The project at hand is quite complex, and the link content is especially.
I suddenly saw this warning again in recent days and wanted to inquire about when this deletion would be done, so that our team could make preparations and plan in advance.
I installed MacOS Sequoia 15.4 and now my backup script no longer works.
My script is using rsync in this way:
rsync -avz —delete —log-file=“$LOG_FILE” “$SRC_DIR” “$DEST_DIR”
This has been working fine for a very long time.
After updating to 15.4, this produces the error “rsync: unrecognized action —log-file=/users/admin/logs/backuplog_***.log”.
The log file path is correct (and hasn’t changed).
Interestingly, the man page for rsync no longer shows the —log-file as an option.
I know I can use:
rsync -avz —delete “$SRC_DIR” “$DEST_DIR” > “$LOG_FILE”`
or even
rsync -avz —delete “$SRC_DIR” “$DEST_DIR” > “$LOG_FILE” 2>&1`
to also capture stderr.
However, I liked the output from the built-In log option.
Does anyone know why this might have been removed or if there is a way to get it back?
Thanks.
I have created and Ios app using xojo, and run using the Xcode simulator. I want to test it on my phone and don't seed to put it on the app store as it is for personal use. I've seen pages that indicate a free apple developer option is available for a limited time but can't for the live of me get my app to actually run on my phone. I've tried both apple configurator and xcode to add my app with no luck
Hello Apple Developer Support,
I am writing to seek assistance with an issue we are experiencing in our SwiftUI application concerning UI test cases.
Our application uses accessibility labels that differ slightly from the display content to enhance VoiceOver support. However, we have encountered a problem where our UI test cases fail when the accessibility label does not match the actual display content.
Currently, we are using accessibility identifiers in our tests, but they only retrieve the accessibility label, leaving us without a method to access the actual display content. This discrepancy is causing our automated tests to fail, as they cannot verify the visual content of the UI elements.
We would greatly appreciate any guidance or solutions you could provide to address this issue. Specifically, we are looking for a way to ensure our UI tests can access both the accessibility label and the actual display content for verification purposes.
For ex:
Problem scenario - setting accessibilityLabel masks access to any displayed content
If an accessibilityLabel is set on a UI element, then it seems to be no-longer possible to check/access the displayed content of that element:
var body: some View {
Text("AAA")
.accessibilityIdentifier("textThing")
.accessibilityLabel("ZZZ") // Different label from the text which is displayed in UI
}
// in test...
func test_ThingExists() {
XCTAssert(app.staticTexts["AAA"].exists) // Fails, cannot find the element
XCTAssertEqual(app.staticTexts["ZZZ"].label, "AAA") // Fails - '.label' is the accessibilityLabel, not the displayed content
XCTAssertEqual(app.staticTexts["ZZZ"].label, "ZZZ") // Passes, but validates the accessibility content, not the displayed content
XCTAssert(app.staticTexts["textThing"].exists) // Passes, but does not check the displayed content
XCTAssertEqual(app.staticTexts["textThing"].label, "AAA") // Fails - '.label' is the accessibilityLabel, not the displayed content
XCTAssertEqual(app.staticTexts["textThing"].label, "ZZZ") // Passes, but validates the accessibility content, not the displayed content
}
element.label still only checks the accessibilityLabel. There is not, it seems, an way back to being able to check the content of the Text element directly.
Thank you for your attention and support. We look forward to your valuable insights.
I've been using the weather kit API for months now without issue, but all of a sudden API queries return the response {"reason": "EXPIRED"}. The code around this area hasn't changed since June and the credentials haven't changed. The JWT is refreshed frequently (well within expiration). Have looked at the generated JWT in jwt.io and Payload and Header details correct and jwt.io reports JWT as "signature verified".
Is the JWT a red herring and its something else?
Here's an example URL:
https://weatherkit.apple.com/api/v1/weather/en_AU/-37.37834963844341/144.76238003519637?dailyStart=2024-12-12T13:00:00Z&dailyEnd=2024-12-13T13:00:00Z&timeZone=Australia/Melbourne&dataSets=forecastDaily
Would appreciate any insights you may have.
I just turned it on by accident and I can’t turn it off… I’m using IOS 26 rn and I can’t go back and I can’t disable the developer mode, I’m not a developer so yeah

I remember a long time ago seeing a website that would show every single piece of feedback sent to Apple, not showing the sender. The website looked old but still working. Dies anyone know what it is?
Thank you
I need to automate updating to latest iOS betas as part of my ci script, but I can't get it to install iOS 26.0 beta for the life of me, using xcodes or xcodebuild.
I can see the version listed using xcodes runtimes --include-betas, and I tried sudo xcodes runtimes install "iOS 26.0-beta1", but I would get the error
Downloading Runtime iOS 26.0-beta1: 0%
Error: ProcessExecutionError()\
I also tried xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -buildVersion 23A5260l, where I found the specific build id on apples dev images website. But I would get the error
iOS 23A5260l is not available for download.
Specific version download failed, trying downloadPlatform ios latest...
And similar error for trying xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS -buildVersion 26.0 or other version ids I found online. But this command would work for any other versions and betas listed on the website.
I was able to install iOS 26.0 through xcodebuild -downloadPlatform iOS, which automatically installed it for me, but this is unideal for my situation, as I want to control which betas to install instead of just the latest one (like iOS 18.6 beta that just came out).
Is anyone else also struggling with these errors?
xcodes version 1.6.2 Xcode version 26.0 Beta (installed and selected through xcode)
We are building a framework which will be used by other apps. Want to integrate crash reporting and diagnostics for our framework. Want to report crashes to our backend happening inside our framework only and ignore app level crashes. Is it possible to filter crashes like that ?
Hello Apple Support,
I’m facing an issue with Background Fetch in my React Native project. When I click on Simulate Background Fetch in Xcode, everything works as expected on the iOS Simulator—background tasks run smoothly, and data is fetched without issues. However, on a real device, the app goes to the background but doesn’t execute any of the scheduled background tasks, and it also remains in the background without terminating.
Here’s some additional context:
React Native Project: I’m using React Native to develop this app, and the background tasks involve:
Getting User Location: Fetching the user’s location in the background.
API Calls: Calling an API to fetch necessary information based on the user’s location.
Scheduling Notifications and Alarms: Scheduling notifications and alarms based on the API response data.
Simulator vs. Real Device:
In the iOS Simulator, all these background tasks trigger and function correctly when I simulate Background Fetch.
On the real device, however, none of these tasks are triggered when I try to simulate Background Fetch. The app only moves to the background without performing any tasks or getting terminated.
Device and Configuration Details:
iOS Version: 17
Device Model: Iphone xs, Iphone 11, iphone 7
Background Modes: Background Fetch is enabled in Capabilities, and I’ve set the fetch interval to the minimum for testing.
I’ve verified that all configurations are correctly set, and I’ve tried restarting the device and Xcode, but the issue persists. Is there something specific about Background Fetch that could prevent it from functioning as expected on physical devices? Any guidance on troubleshooting or additional steps would be highly appreciated.
Thank you!
Hi,
I'm using the following command to extract information about the code coverage:
xcrun xcresulttool get --format json --path /some/path/to/xcresult
However, since Xcode 16 I get:
Error: This command is deprecated and will be removed in a future release, --legacy flag is required to use it.
But this message doesn't tell us what's the alternative to get the same result. Or are you just getting rid of useful functionality and there is no alternative?
