TestFlight returns ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING despite active Paid Apps agreement
We're hitting a hard block on TestFlight beta distribution and cannot find a way to recover. Posting here in case others have seen this and in case Apple engineering can clarify what to check. Symptoms Every TestFlight submission for our app fails with: status: 422 code: ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING title: "Beta contract is missing for the app." detail: "Beta Contract is missing." The build itself uploads and finishes processing normally in App Store Connect. It just cannot be assigned to any tester group (internal or external). Adding internal testers and trying to install on a personal device returns "The requested application is unavailable." What we've already verified Account is active (Account Holder can sign in to App Store Connect normally). Paid Applications agreement shows as "Active" under Agreements, Tax, and Banking. Free Apps agreement is also active. No pending agreements, no banking warnings, no tax forms outstanding. Builds for the same app processed successfully (no ITC errors during upload). Reproduced across multiple builds (1004, 1005), same error every time. App Store Connect API call to /v1/buildBetaDetails returns the same 422. TestFlight tab shows the build under "Internal Testing — Missing Compliance", but compliance answers are filled in correctly. Re-uploaded via Transporter and via xcrun altool — identical result. What we've already tried Removed and re-added the app's primary App Store Connect app record (kept). Toggled export compliance answers off/on. Created and re-created internal tester groups. Deleted and re-added internal testers. Verified Apple Developer Program membership status (Active, renewed 2026-04-23). Verified bundle ID provisioning profile and entitlements. Submitted a Developer Program Support ticket (no response after 5 business days). Question Is ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING expected to surface on an account where Paid Apps and Free Apps agreements both show as Active? Is the "Beta contract" a separate agreement that needs to be re-accepted somewhere other than Agreements, Tax, and Banking? If so, where? Are there cases where this state is set server-side and cannot be cleared by re-accepting agreements? If yes, what is the proper channel to request server-side reset? Any pointers from Apple engineering or other developers who have hit this would be appreciated. Environment: Xcode 17.x macOS 26 App Store Connect API: latest Apple Developer Program membership: Active App type: iOS app, network extensions, family sharing enabled

TestFlight app download issue
Hi friends, Since yesterday, I'm not able to download any of my apps from TestFlight (while I can for others developers). I'm searching since 2 days now about the reason and I think I've tried everything, so I'm asking if you might have an idea... It occured after adding subscriptions to one of my apps, then I did all of these: Check all contracts on my apple developer account Verify my apple ID in internal testers Install / Uninstall TestFlight app Remove / Re-add myself as tester Try new builds My apps are listed on the Apple Store and not removed from Sales. Did I miss something? The error is mysterious... I also contacted Apple, I'm waiting for their answer. Thank you 🙏

TestFlight build install fails 'app not available' (internal) and Submit for Review returns generic error (external) — both persist 9 days
Hi DTS team, We have a TestFlight build that is stuck in two ways simultaneously, suggesting a server-side state issue on the build or the account. This has now persisted for over a week with no usable response from Apple Support, so I'm escalating here in the hope of getting an engineer's attention. App: HAVN 360 Apple ID: 6769371655 Bundle ID: com.havn.member Team ID: XTRZ36RKU8 Build: 1.0.0 (1) — Binary State: Validated, status "Testing", expires in 81 days SYMPTOM 1 (internal testing): Build is attached to the internal group "Team (Expo)" with a green check. TestFlight on iPhone (UAE storefront, account-holder's Apple ID (redacted — visible to Apple via Team ID) shows HAVN 360 with an Install button. Tapping Install returns: "Could not install HAVN 360. The requested app is not available or doesn't exist." Already attempted: Removed all prior dev builds and provisioning profiles Signed out / back into Media & Purchases Full device restart Repeated after Agreements, DSA, App Privacy and Test Information were all confirmed Active / Published SYMPTOM 2 (external testing): Submitting the same build to external group "HAVN Friends Beta" via TestFlight > group > Builds > + > What to Test > Submit for Review returns: "There was an error processing your request. Please try again later." Reproduced across browsers and fresh sessions for 9 days. VERIFIED CLEAN: App Information: category Health & Fitness, content rights No, age rating set, copyright set App Privacy: declared and Published, privacy URL provided Test Information: complete (description, feedback email, privacy URL, contact info) Pricing and Availability: configured, app available in UAE DSA Compliance: Active (Not a Trader) Free Apps Agreement: Active Developer Program membership: Active, renews May 2027 ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption: false SUPPORT EXPERIENCE SO FAR: A free-tier App Review support ticket was filed on 14 May 2026. Apple's auto-reply quoted a 2-business-day SLA. It has now been 9 days (more than a full working week) with no substantive response — only the initial acknowledgement. The Code-Level Support form does not accept this issue type because there is no applicable Xcode sample project (it is an App Store Connect / TestFlight infrastructure issue, not a code defect). I have no remaining first-party support channel to use, which is why I am posting here. For a paying Apple Developer Program member trying to ship a beta, this is a difficult position to be left in. I would really appreciate a DTS engineer reviewing the server-side state for this build / app / team and identifying what is stuck. Both symptoms suggest the same underlying cause — most likely a flag on the build's distribution metadata or an entitlement state that needs to be cleared. Happy to provide any further diagnostic information needed. Thanks, Godwin

ACPR Hold Blocking Everything — TestFlight, App Store Review, Support Access, Developer Forums
I have been experiencing a complete account-level block for over 10 days. What is blocked: • TestFlight — all testers get “The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist” across 8 builds • App Store submission stuck at “Waiting for Review” since May 29, 2026 • getsupport.apple.com shows “ACPR” and “There are currently no assisted support options available” • Developer Forums login was also blocked until today Apple’s own support system confirmed: “It looks like this issue is related to your Apple Account.” My existing support case is 102899239909, filed 8+ days ago with no resolution. Has anyone experienced this and found a resolution? Are any Apple engineers able to look into this? If any additional info is needed please ask. The response from my side will be really quick as im highly frustrated, depressed and constantly checking my phone for any fix.

TestFlight Cannot Install: Build Status ‘Ready to Submit’ but unable to install on device
Hello, I'm having trouble installing my app via TestFlight. Current Status: The app build has been successfully uploaded and processed in App Store Connect. The build status currently shows "Ready to Submit" All export compliance questionnaires have been completed. The Issue: Even though everything looks ready on the dashboard, I cannot install the app on my phone via TestFlight. • (Specifically, the app is visible but throws an error when I click install-‘this app doesn’t exist or not available’). What I've Tried: • Checked that the testing group is properly linked to the build. • Re-signed into the TestFlight app on my device. Could App Store Connect Team Adviser help me with this issue please as soon as possible!

TestFlight: "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist" - Cannot install any build for over a week
Hello everyone, I've been unable to install any TestFlight build on my device for over a week. Every build shows "Complete" in App Store Connect, but installation always fails with the same error. I also submitted a support ticket to Apple Developer Support over a week ago but have not received any response. I'm posting here hoping someone from the community or Apple team can help. Is there a known issue with TestFlight and new Bundle IDs? Could this be related to the Paid Apps Agreement activation delay? Is there a way to reset the TestFlight state for a Bundle ID? How can I escalate my support ticket if there's no response? I'm completely stuck — I cannot test my app at all. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

HCE not working in Testflight Builds
We have enabled the Host Card Emulation (HCE) capability for our app and successfully implemented and tested the functionality during development. When running the app directly from Xcode, HCE-related flows work as expected. However, we are observing different behavior in the distributed build. In particular, the following check consistently evaluates to false: guard await CardSession.isEligible else { return } After distributing the app via TestFlight, HCE functionality is not available for external testers. The CardSession.isEligible property always returns false, even when tested on supported devices and in supported regions. We are using the same bundle identifier for both development and distribution builds, and the provisioning profiles include the required capability. Could you please clarify the following: Are there any additional entitlements, approvals, or configuration steps required for HCE to function in TestFlight or distribution builds? Are there known region, device, or account-related restrictions that could cause CardSession.isEligible to return false outside the development environment? Is there any difference in behavior between development-signed and distribution-signed builds for this capability?

Altus v3.6
We added a running tab to the app this month. I need active testers that like to run to see if our route plotting, and enrollment plans adapt accurately based on users physically fit condition. Plan should adapt due to time constraints, injury, sickness and help adjust as you need. https://testflight.apple.com/join/zkV5Gznz

TestFlight Poorly Designed and Implemented
Am I alone in this thinking? How could the beta platform for a company this big and successful be this bad? I was able to get a few beta testers signed in and they actually were able to install my app. But I've had several people say that they could install the beta (because they were asked for a Redeem Code, but they didn't have any). Today, I got an email from a friend saying that his invitation was invalid, but I just sent it to him and the expiration date is 90 days away. I just uploaded a new build that was approved is ready for Testing and I checked with one of my users and they got no push notification that a new build was available. I had them go into TestFlight and no indication that a new build was available. And that whole process for getting a new build online and ready for testing is not intuitive at all. And the non-linear nature of finding groups and group members is unbelievable. Everything is so chaotic. Or maybe it's just me. Someone please tell me that I'm crazy.

How do you set a designated app icon for TestFlight builds?
I currently have multiple macOS app icons configured in my project: AppIcon.icon AppIcon-Development.icon AppIcon-Beta.icon In Xcode, I can assign different app icons for Debug and Release configurations, which works well for local development and production builds. However, I cannot find any equivalent way to specify a dedicated app icon for TestFlight distributions. I would like TestFlight builds to automatically use AppIcon-Beta.icon. Where is this configured, or what is the recommended approach? Is there a specific build setting, archive configuration or App Store Connect mechanism for this, or do I need to handle it manually using build configurations or schemes? Thanks.

TestFlight Beta Contract Missing – ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING
Hello, I am unable to use TestFlight for any app (existing or new), while production uploads work normally. All TestFlight actions fail with: ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING There are no pending agreements in App Store Connect. This is an older account that previously used TestFlight successfully. This appears to be a missing or detached TestFlight Beta contract on Apple’s backend. Could this be manually reattached or re-provisioned? This is time-sensitive, as I need a TestFlight external testers link to submit an app for an upcoming hackathon. Apple Support case ID (for reference): 102817552619 Thank you.

TestFlight not working for internal testing – affects all apps

I want to bang my head into a brick wall
I had the issue pop up again. To refresh what previously happened, when I would submit a new build to TestFlight, it wouldn’t let me download it. That was a problem for a couple weeks. Then after the problem resolved I was able to download the “new build” but when I went into the app, it was clearly an old one. This issue got resolved a couple weeks ago, now it’s back. When I went to test out the new build on a couple of my apps, I was able to download it, but when I looked through the app, it was an old one. Please help me resolve this fast. Last time I waited for over a month

TestFlight Cannot Install for 4 days: Request for Check!
Hello, My Apple ID 6766831703 My case ID102894773917 I have sent an email to Apple support to report that my app cannot be installed in TestFlight for 4 days. The app build has been successfully uploaded and processed in App Store Connect. The build status currently shows "Ready to Submit" ‘Testing’. I have uploaded 2 versions, 0.1.0 0.1.1, but both show this requested app isn't available or doesn't exist. I have tried to click stop testing, re-invited tester, re-download TestFlight app, and check all agreements, All export compliance questionnaires have been completed. There is no problem. The developer account has also been registered recently. Because the inability to test has seriously delayed our project timeline and business launch in Global. Could Apple team escalate this case for me right now please?

TestFlight Beta Contract Missing – ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING (still unresolved after 48h)
Hello, I’m experiencing the same issue described in other threads: all TestFlight actions fail with ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING, while production uploads work normally. There are no pending agreements in App Store Connect. I already contacted Apple Support (case ID: 20000112300245). They told me it would resolve within 48 hours, but it hasn’t. The TestFlight Beta contract appears to be missing or detached on Apple’s backend. Is there any way to have it manually reattached or reprovisioned? This is blocking my app submission — any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Beta Contract Missing
We’re unable to add external testing groups to our new builds for our app, Nox AI Wingman (https://apps.apple.com/in/app/nox-ai-wingman/id6753078092), because we keep facing a persistent, unexplained error. Some details: 3 calls + email updates with the team so far, we received no explanation other than directions to wait 48 hours and try again. We’re still unable to submit builds, with no word of any escalation or explanation for where the problem’s coming from. All agreements are signed, the build says “Ready to Submit”, all privacy related and other necessary fields have been filled out properly Browser Console shows the following error on submission: "errors" : [ { "id" : "112b2d19-6105-45c3-b941-3217d905fafc", "status" : "400", "code" : "PARAMETER_ERROR.REQUIRED", "title" : "A required parameter was not provided", "detail" : "The parameter 'filter[build]' is required but was not provided", "source" : { "parameter" : "filter[build]" } } ] } Direct beta review submission gives us the following API error from apple: { "code": "ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING", "title": "Beta contract is missing for the app.", "detail": "Beta Contract is missing." } We're helpless. Dev support has no idea what's causing this or how we can prevent this in the future even if they do fix it. We’re in the middle of a crucial launch week, and cannot afford 48 hour windows with no response or communication. Any help at all would be clutch.

TestFlight install fails with BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING although all agreements are active
Hello, I am unable to install my app from TestFlight even though the build appears valid and is in internal beta testing. The build was uploaded successfully to App Store Connect and shows as Testing / Internal Testing. The build metadata looks valid: processingState: VALID internalBuildState: IN_BETA_TESTING qcState: BETA_INTERNAL_TESTING usesNonExemptEncryption: false minOsVersion: 15.0 deviceFamilies: IPHONE supportedArchitectures: arm64 However, TestFlight installation fails, and the App Store Connect API returns: ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING Beta contract is missing for the app. My App Store Connect agreements are all active. I checked Business > Agreements and both Paid Apps Agreement and Free Apps Agreement are Active. Bank accounts, tax forms, and compliance also appear Active. This also happens with a newly created app and a fresh build, so it looks like the TestFlight beta contract may be missing or detached on Apple’s backend. Has anyone seen this before, or is there a way to force App Store Connect to refresh the TestFlight beta contract state?

Hi, I am an iOS developer and I am facing a critical issue with TestFlight that is affecting ALL of my applications, not just one. Issue: TestFlight is not working during internal testing for any of my apps I am unable to install or test any build through TestFlight The problem is consistently reproducible Example App Details: App Name: PDF Editor & PDF Compressor Version: 1.2 (Build 1) Build Status: Ready to Submit Testing Group: Internal (1 Tester) Invite Status: Accepted I already submitted a support case (Case ID: 102895219145) on May 20, 2026 but have not received any response yet. Has anyone else faced this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
