I received a SPAM calendar invite yesterday, never seen anything like this before and was dismayed that I was unable to delete the invite without declining the meeting. The invite was obviously spam for sunglasses. I did some research and found quite a few people having the same problem but only with the most recent iOS 10.11. There appear to be some work arounds but I'm not sure if they are all 100% effective. The calendar invites also don't appear to be attached to an email, they look like they're coming from the iCloud calendar. There are people also having similar issues with spam photo sharing invites and spam reminders, all again with NO way to simply delete the invite without declining, because once you decline you send a message back confirming your email address.I looked on the beta forums but didn't see any mention of a fix in the pipeline for this, has anybody else had a similar experience? Is there a known fix for this behavior?

I want some recommendations for the custom calendar that should have some resemblance to Google Calendar.
On iOS 14, the sidebar in the Calendar app appears to be the primary controller of a split view controller of style UISplitViewControllerStyleDoubleColumn. The state of the Calendar sidebar is controlled by three bar button items: the Calendars button, the Inbox button, and the Today button. When the sidebar is visible, these buttons appear in the navigation bar of the sidebar. When the sidebar is closed, the three buttons animate to the secondary controller's navigation bar. How do you specify the buttons such that they animate on show/hide? Steve
Our app provides a calendar that integrates with the default calendar app. Specifically, we use iOS EventKit to perform CRUD operations on calendar data. Recently, we have received reports from users that all of their events have disappeared. However, after reviewing our implementation and logs, we have not been able to identify the cause. Some users have also reported that all data in their default calendar app has disappeared as well. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? To delete an event within our app, users must press the delete button and then confirm the deletion in a dialog. Additionally, it is not possible to delete more than two events at once. We've seen many people in the community discussing a bug where calendar events disappear after updating to iOS 18. If you have any information about when or why this happens, we'd appreciate it if you could share your insights.
Watch 2, iOS9 on an iPhone 6 - Everything seems to be syncing now except my calendar. Watch app shows that the calendard is set up, all the events are on my iPhone correctly, nothing shows up on the Watch in the calendar app or in the glances or on the watch face.
Does anyone know the best way to store core data using a calendar? The only way I could think is adding a date attribute and every time the date is changed on the calendar changing the NSPredicate to that date and if there isn’t one creating a new instance with that date as it’s date value. I’m certain this is not the best method, but I couldn’t think of any other, but I know I’m very limited in my SwiftUI knowledge. So any guidance would be greatly appreciated. For more insight into what I’m looking for see my previous post asking for advice on what to change about my own method: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/708915
Currently Apple has their own calendar called Birthdays which takes the birthdays from contacts and makes it as a regular calendar event along with the birthday number, they even do this for Hebrew Birthdays. I have tried (unsuccessfully thus far) to take the same concept and create a calendar for reoccurring events on a specific date in the Hebrew Calendar. An example of this would be Yahrtzeits, which is observed on the Hebrew date each year after a person dies. I want to add it to the system calendars like how Apple does it this way it can be used with any app not just my own. Currently there isn't a way to specify the calendar (like Calendar(identifier: .hebrew) or even make a custom EKRecurrenceRule, also from some of the debugging of the Birthdays calendar, it seems that the date saved is the Gregorian date and that theres some internal calculations happening. Is there a way to add reoccurring Hebrew Events or do I need to reinvent

I am creating icons for Mac Os Mojave. Faced a problem - when changing the Calendar App icon (dock) - the dynamic date remains tilted, but I can't find a file where I can change the tilt degree. Please tell me what to do?
Hi, I am new here and new to applescripts. Possibly I am in the totally wrong place. However, I figured I would start here. I am interested in making an AppleScript that will: upon creation of an event, duplicate it, name it, and move it to a different calendar. Breakdown: Create Event A under Calendar A Script would execute the following: Duplicate Event A as Event B Move Event B to Calendar B Rename the Event Busy Is this possible? Thank you in advance. I have updated my iPhone SE 2020 with the iOS18 beta, I've been doing this since iOS17. Everything is fine, until I look at my calendar. My to do list is in the calendar, I don't want that, it's a mess, I have 2 daily repetitive to do lists, and my calendar has become a mess, I already have this in the to do list. Does anyone know how I can remove this? I've already gone to setup, there's no option in the calendar, and I couldn't find it in the to do list either. Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi, I found a Bug in new Preview App on MacOS 26 release, while adding a new calendar entry. If I click on a date inside a PDF file in Preview App, the calendar view pops and prompts to add a new calendar event. The background, which I guess should show the calendar, is showing a yellow screen. See images below. This happens on both my M1 Air and M4 Pro Macbook. Kind regards, Lorenz
