App Approved/Released, but In-App Purchase Still In Review
Greetings! QUESTION: Is there any way to request expedited review of an in-app purchase? BACKGROUND: App Review approved our app yesterday, and I released it from the Connect app on iOS while on the go. Only when at home later logged into App Store Connect from the browser, did I realize that our In-App Purchases were still In Review. ISSUE: Users get the no products found error on our paywall, based on the fact the IAPs are not yet approved! .bottomBar menu button briefly disappears after menu dismissal on iOS 26.1 Seed 2 (23B5059e)
[Also submitted as FB20636175] In iOS 26.1 Seed 2 (23B5059e), ToolbarItem menus with .bottomBar placement cause the toolbar item to disappear and rebuild after the menu is dismissed, instead of smoothly morphing back. The bottom toolbar can take 1–2 seconds to reappear. This also seems to coincide with this console error: Adding 'UIKitToolbar' as a subview of UIHostingController.view is not supported and may result in a broken view hierarchy. Add your view above UIHostingController.view in a common superview or insert it into your SwiftUI content in a UIViewRepresentable instead. This occurs both on device and in a simulator. Sample Project This sample ContentView includes two menu buttons—one in the bottom bar and one in the top bar. Dismissing the bottom bar menu causes a short delay before the button reappears, while the top bar menu behaves normally. struct ContentView: View { var body: some View { NavigationStack { Text(Tap and dismiss both menu buttons and note the difference.) .navigationTitle

ExtensionFoundation on iOS 26
Hi, I'm trying to add an extension to my app on iOS 26. I've followed the instructions on https://developer.apple.com/documentation/extensionfoundation/adding-support-for-app-extensions-to-your-app and made it as far as being able to launch the extension: let monitor = try await AppExtensionPoint.Monitor(appExtensionPoint: .localWebServerExtension) currentIdentity = monitor.identities.first if let currentIdentity = currentIdentity { let myConfig = AppExtensionProcess.Configuration(appExtensionIdentity: currentIdentity, onInterruption: { NSLog(extension was terminated) }) myProcess = try await AppExtensionProcess(configuration: myConfig) myConnection = try myProcess?.makeXPCConnection() } None of these calls throw, and when I examine myProcess from inside that code, it seems to be normal (there's a pid, for example). Yet the code inside my extension seems to not be executed: breakpoints are not triggered, NSLog() calls do not appear on the console. The onInterruption() callback is also not triggered,

iOS 26 Liquid Glass - Without any Blur - Possible?
let glassView = UIVisualEffectView(effect: UIGlassEffect(style: .clear)) glassView.frame = CGRect(x: 100, y: 200, width: 200, height: 400) self.view.addSubview(glassView) Though UIGlassEffect has two variants: .regular and .clear, even the clear one has some blur on the background. Is there a way to do get absolute no blur? Edges still have the glass effect. Apple does this in two places: Camera app: Text magnifier:

Cloudkit only syncs when app is reloaded.
I've seen a few older posts claiming the same behavior I'm seeing which is my cloudkit/core data app only syncs to iOS when the iOS app is reloaded. Can someone clarify if this is a bug, or the expected behavior. I have an iOS app which the entire purpose of it is to view synced data from MacOS, and I have a refresh button which does nothing because the data only syncs when the app is closed and reopened. Am I supposed to tell users to close and reopen the app to see fresh data? that seems like a terrible UI behavior, and I know apple does not accept this as all of their apps sync without needing to be reloaded. For example the notes app does not need to be reloaded for the MacOS -> iOS data to be synced.

iO26 freezes my phone and the hangs each time
The new iO26 that was released recently is indeed a game changer as it overhauled all the features and outlooks, it is a great one, however it came with serious drawback on my phone. My phone started hanging after installing the new iOS26 update. It freezes each time I’m using it or when I want to pick a call. It only get resolved once i hit the power button and unlock again. battery drains faster I thought i0S26 .1 wil resolve it but no it didn’t my phone is iPhone 13 Pro Max The smoothness of the screen transition has reduce as it drags instead of smooth sliding. My battery drains faster, my battery went from 83% to 79 in less than two weeks of upgrading to the New iOS I can’t use the “set as ringtone” option from downloaded or created music, it just freezes. I thought i0S26 .1 wil resolve it but no it didn’t my phone is iPhone 13 Pro Max i need help please, let something be done to help me. I’m already frustrated and considering getting another operating system

AlarmKit - Alarm triggers twice at 00:00 and second fullscreen alarm view becomes unresponsive
When an alarm is scheduled for 00:00, the system displays the fullscreen alarm interface twice. After the second fullscreen view appears, both the “Stop” and “Snooze” buttons become unresponsive, but using the physical button (volume or power button) can dismiss the alarm and correctly trigger the StopIntent. This behavior occurs consistently (100%), whether the system time is set normally or manually adjusted before the alarm triggers. Environment: Device: iPhone 14 Pro Max iOS Version: 26.0 Reproducibility: 100%

Reply to iOS 26: Navigation bar unexpectedly switches to Light appearance during navigation in Dark Mode
Thank you for your reply. I see you filed a bug, you have provided some code in the bug, thanks for that, but may I ask to upload a focused project showing the issue? I’ve already attached code that reproduces the issue in the first post of this thread. Please note that the issue only occurs on iOS 26 when the device is set to Dark Mode and Reduce Transparency is enabled. I have also uploaded the Xcode project for this sample code to GitHub: https://github.com/hmuronaka/iOS26NavigationTitleSample If so, please share a link to your test project or better upload it into the FB issue I’ve also uploaded the link to the project in the FB report (FB20370553) as well. Thank you for your support

Reply to Is It Still Possible for Indie iOS Apps to Thrive in 2025?
Once, the App Store empowered indie creators - small teams could launch great apps Nothing has changed in that respect. There are more opportunities now for people to build low-quality apps by using low-quality, cross-platform frameworks and tools. But people are still able to launch great apps with discipline, intelligence, and hard work. and find users easily This part has changed. There are lots more apps to choose from, a radically different marketplace, and different user expectations. It now takes more work and more time to find users. But in 2025, that era feels long gone, with algorithms, big players, and pay-to-win discoverability reshaping everything. Many things have changed over the past 17 years. Is there still a real chance for indie iOS developers today, or has Apple’s evolving ecosystem made independent success nearly impossible? Many people are having success. They're just focused on their products and providing a great experience for their customers. Posting content on social media

How can third-party iOS apps obtain real-time waveform / spectrogram data for Apple Music tracks (similar to djay & other DJ apps)?
Hi everyone, I’m working on an iOS MusicKit app that overlays a metronome on top of Apple Music playback. To line the clicks up perfectly I’d like access to low-level audio analysis data—ideally a waveform / spectrogram or beat grid—while the track is playing. I’ve noticed that several approved DJ apps (e.g. djay, Serato, rekordbox) can already: • Display detailed scrolling waveforms of Apple Music songs • Scratch, loop or time-stretch those tracks in real time That implies they receive decoded PCM frames or at least high-resolution analysis data from Apple Music under a special entitlement. My questions: 1. Does MusicKit (or any public framework) expose real-time audio buffers, FFT bins, or beat markers for streaming Apple Music content? 2. If not, is there an Apple program or entitlement that developers can apply for—similar to the “DJ with Apple Music” initiative—to gain that deeper access? 3. Where can I find official documentation or a point of contact for this kind of request? I’ve searched the
