I use the Bang & Olufsen M5 speakers (with automatic firmware update) at home, which supports Airplay. Until now, I have had no problem streaming all music and sounds (including system sounds) from Macbook Pro 2016 (playing movies from the web/flash drive/web, Youtube videos, online radio, etc) into it. Until now, when updated to MacOS Big Sur 11.4, playback only works in applications that directly offer streaming via Airplay (for example, Apple Music, Podcast, and that's all). I tried connecting the speaker to my other 2015 Macbook, on which I have Big Sur 11.3.1 and everything works perfectly here. So the fault cannot be in the speaker, but in the system itself - is there a solution or reason that caused this problem? Can someone please assist me in successfully disabling SIP in Big Sur. I need this procedure to be able to make changes to some System Files which have been altered. I am asking for the exacts steps to disable SIP, How to make the disk writable, How to secure the disk when I have completed my task and re-enable SIP. Hi! I have some problem installing Big Sur. The Big Sur installer file seems to download without any problems, but if I restart my mbp16 during the installation, the original OS(10.15.6) turns on without any notice. So I guess, I have one consideration. A month ago, I once downgraded to Catalina after installing big Sur beta 1 version. So, is there something wrong with the T2 chip at this time? Hi all! I been having problems installing the new and latest MacOS Big Sur which for my laptop: quite old is Macbook Air Retina, 2018 with about 108 GB. I have a storage capacity left of around 25 GB and still needs to install another 12 GB and another about 20-30 GB to get the Big Sur. It beens so confusing. I have seen other question but the replies does not even help for example the teddy's one. I don't use Time Machine and by entering all of the commands in the terminal, doesn't work. I have just updated my 3 Macs with Big Sur, but one is hanging. MacBook Pro - no problem. Older Mac mini - no problem. This year's Mac mini - restart shows Apple logo, and progress bar at roughly 90%. It has been like this for over 3 hours. What do I do now (long time Mac user but not an expert)?

Downloaded the Big Sur beta and after restart I get the circle slash. Late 2018 iMac.

We use kextsymboltool when compiling our kext, but kexts will not load on Big Sur, generally it simply claims it can not find the Plugins/module.kext, or if I try to codesign Plugins/module.kext I get; ... because file does not have a __LINKEDIT segment I'm guessing there has been some slight changes to make kextsymbtoltool.c up to date, anything I can handle now, or must I wait for XNU source?

I've upgraded to Big Sur and I can't print using my HP Officejet J4680. Says the job is complete and printer disappears but nothing prints.

How do I enable core dumps, persistently, in Big Sur. I am more versed in *nix/linux than macOS. I've had a few apps core dump, and see in the 'Console' that they are not permitted to create core files. I've tried 'ulimit -c unlimited' but this hasn't been perspective - perhaps in part as I'm unsure how to get this persistent for all apps (even outside a login shell) on Big Sur. Is there a simple guide to allowing core dumps ie into /cores as I was able to get that working in previous releases...
