Reply to CloudKit database errors: "request failed with http status code 500"
After about a week, the http status code 500 errors stopped occurring, and my app started working again. I didn't make any changes during this time. It appears to be a problem with the CloudKit servers. However, it's unnerving to me that my app was not functional for a week, and I got no response on this forum, through the Feedback Assistant, or to my request for a code review.

Sign In by Apple on Firebase - 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
Hello everyone, I'm encountering a persistent 503 Server Temporarily Not Available error when trying to implement Sign in with Apple for my web application. I've already performed a full review of my configuration and I'm confident it's set up correctly, which makes this server-side error particularly confusing. Problem Description: Our web application uses Firebase Authentication to handle the Sign in with Apple flow. When a user clicks the sign-in button, they are correctly redirected to the appleid.apple.com authorization page. However, instead of seeing the login prompt, the page immediately displays a 503 Server Temporarily Not Available error. This is the redirect URL being generated (with the state parameter truncated for security): https://appleid.apple.com/auth/authorize?response_type=code&client_id=XXXXXX&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2FXXXXXX.firebaseapp.com%2F__%2Fauth%2Fhandler&state=AMbdmDk...&scope=email%20name&response_mode=form_post

Failed to authorize rights (0x1) with status: -60007.
I found that Xcode 7.3 is no longer able to launch unit tests requiring iOS simulator. Xcode 7.2.1 was able to. I am seeing this with GitLab-CI and using a runner on my iMac where I updated to Xcode 7.3 two days ago:You now get the error message after the unit test build:Failed to authorize rights (0x1) with status: -60007.For some reason OS X now requires some user interaction when launching the simulator which is not possible because there is no interaction allowed, the runner runs as daemon. If you google for this message then you find solutions related to the keychain. But in this case no code signing occurs since this is a simulator build.Anybody know how to work around the issue? Is that an Xcode 7.3 bug?cheersOliver

Verification failed with status INVALID_CHAIN_LENGTH
我正在通过集成app-store-server-library-java来实现 iap服务端校验。我参照了官网提供的Verification Usage 的代码,运行的时候异常信息如下: at com.apple.itunes.storekit.verification.ChainVerifier.verifyChainWithoutCaching(ChainVerifier.java:98) at com.apple.itunes.storekit.verification.ChainVerifier.verifyChain(ChainVerifier.java:71) at com.apple.itunes.storekit.verification.SignedDataVerifier.decodeSignedObject(SignedDataVerifier.java:186) at com.apple.itunes.storekit.verification.SignedDataVerifier.verifyAndDecodeTransaction(SignedDataVerifier.java:72) 我的代码如下: import com.apple.itunes.storekit.model.ResponseBodyV2DecodedPayload; import com.apple.itunes.storekit.verification.SignedDataVerifier; import com.apple.itunes.storekit.verification.VerificationException; import com.auth0.jwt.JWT; import com.auth0.jwt.interfaces.DecodedJWT; import java.io.FileInputStream; import java.io.FileNotFoundException; import java.io.InputStream; import java.util.Base64; import java.util.Set; public class ExampleVerification { public static void main(String[] args) throws F

iOS 16 network request failed on PacketTunnel
Hi, We have developed a VPN app, we recently received feedback from some iOS 16 users that VPN connections cannot be established, We found that PacketTunnel's network request fails, but requesting the same site in the main app works fine, the Wireless Data settings for the application are set to allow WLAN & Cellular Data. Network requests use NSURLSession. After analysis, we think this may be a problem caused by network permissions on the App extension, and it returns to normal after restarting the phone. Seems to only appear on Chinese version devices, iOS 16.0, iOS 16.0.2 versions have similar feedback. Error log: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1009 似乎已断开与互联网的连接。 unsatisfied (Path was denied by NECP policy), interface: pdp_ip0[lte], ipv4, ipv6, expensive ERROR: <PacketTunnelProvider:(454)> API request failed: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1009 似乎已断开与互联网的连接。 UserInfo={_kCFStreamErrorCodeKey=50, NSUnderlyingError=0x1

Reply to Apple Pay for the Web Merchant Validation
A list of status codes would be helpful.I am actually executing the curl request from my development machine, which is from an IP address (not accessible via any domain name) for testing/development purposes. I realize that Apple documentated to make the merchant validation request from the production webserver, but why and how would they enforce that? It seems that all the security checks is in the fact that the SSL certificate passed with every HTTP POST request will be validated and that is all Apple should be relying on (this isn't an oAuth 2.0 callback architecture). The certificate is valid, because if it wasn't I would even get back a HTTP response at all.

Handling receipt validation status code for consumable product
My app has consumable in-app purchase products. The app is using Original API for In-App Purchase. When the user purchase in-app product, the app sends the receipt to our web server which then validates the receipt throw the App Store api. The App Store validates the receipt and gives us the response with a status code. The problem is here. It's obvious how to handle a 'valid receipt' response status code which is 0. But the document is not straight about handling response code which isn't 0. Should we call finishTransaction when the response code isn't 0? or should we not? If we don't call finishTransaction, we are worried that the transaction will stay alive and loop forever. If we call finishTransaction, we are worried that we might ignore a valid purchase and not give the consumable product that user purchased. Is there a right way to handle this? Original API for In-App Purchase: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/in-app_purch

Reply to Failed to verify your identity. Try Again - Error on AppStore Connect / Developer / SearchAds
Hi I am posting this in case someone in the future ends up here. I faced the same issue. In the Chrome console, I could see 503 errors (service unavailable). I tried most solutions posted online (appending verification code, using another device, logging to to iCloud then App Connect) but all failed for me. After around 5 hours, I tried again, but this time it was on a different network (same device and browser). And it let me sign in ( however, it asked for a verification code from my iOS device).
