I downloaded BigSur yesterday to my iMac but it has made my computer significantly slower...checking email, Office Teams all crazy slow! I’m working from home, teaching online, like so many others & need this to be resolved so that I can reach my students quickly! How can I remove BigSur & revert back to previous OS?
How can this hideous boot screen be changed to one of a scenic view of BigSur? This is BigSur, so similar to Catalina's boot screen with a picture of the island, BigSur should have a boot screen showing the splendor of BigSur.
I've got a brand new iMac and I loaded BigSur beta on to it and it seemed to work fine for a while. Now it is crashing about every 30 seconds after booting up. I've tried every conceivable fix I can think of and then some. I've attempted to reinstall Catalina but the install program can't find the internal hard drive. The icon does not show up. I'm hoping an update will solve the issue, however, today I reinstalled BigSur and got the same results. Any ideas?
Why am I getting this message after downloading full BigSur (it can't be installed) : The package InstallAssistant.pkg fails to meet Gatekeeper policy.? is there a solution to this?
I have my finder open and maximized. Every single time that I'm clicking on it, a new tab opens. How can I prevent this from happening? Os: BigSur 11.0.1
It keeps showing that macOS BigSur cannot be installed on Macintosh HD. How to resolve this? I have cleared out more than enough space for it to be installed.
I updated my 2017 MacBook Air to BigSur and none of the apps work, I can't browse with either safari or chrome. I have restarted it several times with the same results
I have an iMac late 2015 (1.6ghz dual core i5) running Catalina. Currently, Catalina works fine on it. No delays or spinning beach balls when opening any documents or programs. I thought of installing BigSur on it. I would like to try it but I am not sure if I want to make the jump yet. I know the only way to know is by installing it and trying it. Even though the Mac may meet the requirements I don't want to find out it still dogs in doing the smallest things. Any thoughts or experience with BigSur on this particular Mac?
After installing BigSur yesterday, my password to make changes is inoperable on some (but not every) request. I also cannot add a new fingerprint to the touch pad.
I tried to download Catalina from the Mac Store and I get a message that says that the version is too old to load (?) Can you provide specific instructions on how to get BigSur off and Catalina back on?
