Managed Apple ID - Testflight not useable
Hi, I run a midsize business. Apple recommends for company owned devices and for other reasons to use Apple Business managed Apple IDs for the employees. After that, you have to use a MDM System for e.g. deploying apps and licenses. Testflight is an app that can be deployed too. But....Testflight can not more than to say "Hello" on a managed device. The use of Testflight and to test our developed apps is not possible with a managed ID. Can anyone explain to me this thinking or what is recommended than. Setting up a private Apple ID for that purpose...which on the other hand, Apple do not want or does not recommend.

Apps installed on child device is not showing on Parent Device
I am creating a prototype with the new Screen Time API introduced by Apple. The issue I am facing is, Applications installed in child device is not showing in parent device with FamilyActivityPicker. It is showing in Child device and apps can be shielded from child's device. Can some one describe, how to list the apps in parent's device. Both Device are running in iOS 15.3. Both falls in same family group Child is under 13 yrs old Screen Time enabled in both device and parent device can see child in Screen Time.

iOS 18.3.2 Enterprise App Crashes on Launch - SecKeyVerifySignature Failed
We are encountering a critical issue where an enterprise-signed iOS app crashes immediately after installation on devices running iOS 18.3.2 (22D82). The same app runs fine on other iOS versions (including iOS 18.3.1 and earlier). Issue Summary: After upgrading to iOS 18.3.2, users are unable to launch our enterprise app (Bundle ID: com.kt.MobileDRM). The app installs successfully but crashes immediately upon launch. This issue occurs only on iOS 18.3.2, not on earlier versions or other iPadOS/iOS devices. System Log Snippet: SecKeyVerifySignature failed: Error Domain=NSOSStatusErrorDomain Code=-50 "rsa_pub_crypt failed, ccerr=-7" UserInfo={numberOfErrorsDeep=0, NSDescription=rsa_pub_crypt failed, ccerr=-7} Additional Info: The app is signed with a valid enterprise certificate. No changes were made to the app binary or signing configuration before this issue started. We are not using an IPS file. A similar app (different bundle ID) shows the same behavior on iPadOS 18.3.2 but runs fine on other versions. Questions: Has there been a change in iOS 18.3.2 that affects enterprise certificate validation? Does ccerr=-7 indicate a cryptographic change or stricter signature verification? Are there updated requirements or provisioning profile constraints we should be aware of for iOS 18.3.2? We would greatly appreciate any insights or official guidance regarding this issue. Thank you!

All is inhouse distributions apps stopped working after upgrading to version 18.2.1
The issue is with all our enterprise apps. All apps worked on version 18.1. For the few users that updated to 18.2.1 it stopped working after the update. I have a phone that had 18.2.1 installed before I added any enterprise apps, they work fine. So the issue is you have enterprise apps, update from 18.1 to 18.2.1 they stop working. Removing the app (and trust), and installing again doesn't solve the issue. On the app reinstall it's doesn't ask to add the trust or reboot, but the trust is added back. When running the app, it opens for a second or two, then closes.

Unable to renew Apple Developer subscription using managed Apple Account
We use managed Apple accounts for all users in our environment. One of these accounts is associated with an App Store app. Currently the developer console has a banner that says: "There's no credit/debit card on the Apple Online Store associated with your Apple ID to auto-renew your membership." This account, as well as my own admin account, are unable to add a payment method to our Apple account. We're missing the "Payments & Shipping" button on the Manage Account page. How can we renew our developer subscription to keep our app on the App Store? It's critical for us that the account that owns this app is managed. TIA

Enterprise App Crashes on Launch on iOS 18.3.2
We have an office application used internally within our enterprise. The Provisioning Profiles (PP) for the app were about to expire, so we updated the PP and released a new version. However, we've encountered an issue where some users did not update their phones in time. After the app expired, they found it unusable and downloaded the new version, but the newly downloaded app also crashes on launch. Restarting the phone does not resolve the issue, and this primarily occurs on iOS 18.3.2. What could be the cause of this problem, and how should we address it?

Can not access VPP server "ax.itunes.apple.com"
Hi Dear Apple Developer, We had some problem to ping iTunes server since Oct-30, 2024. Previously we can ping the VPP server url http://ax.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStoreServices.woa/wa/wsSearch?media=software&entity=software&country=US&lang=en_us&limit=1&term= w/o any issues, but now it failed. Even if I tried to use "https" to access the above url, it still failed with error "This server could not prove that it is ax.itunes.apple.com; its security certificate is from a248.e.akamai.net. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection." And finally ended with this error "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://ax.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStoreServices.woa/wa/wsSearch?" on this server. shared IPad - how to retrieve Managed Apple ID (email)
Hey everyone, Is it possible and how to get Managed Apple ID (email) programmatically for user signed in to ipad through shared IPad feature ? It would be good to have MDM independent solution, I mean API call to MDM service is not acceptable for us. Maybe API call to ASM or ABM, or get that somehow on iOS device end... any advice ? How to Create Organization Account
Hey Community! I am seeking your help. I have tried Apple Support but to no avail. I know they are busy with a lot of requests, understandable. I previously had my personal developer account (which I used to use for building apps). But then I started my own consultancy/business. Now I want to create apps for my organization. From what I understood from their guidelines: 1/ Create a new individual account with your organization. 2/ Somehow link it to an organization account using DUNS number, etc. I am still stuck at point 1 because it doesn't verify my personal ID (could this be because it is linked to my old personal account). Can someone walk me through the process of creating an organization account?

To resolve this issue, it would be appropriate to review the other distribution options available for apps designed for specific businesses or organizations and choose a distribution option that works for your app and users. ExFAT External Drive Deletion is Slow
Hello guys, I wanted to reach out to see if any of you have experienced or come across an issue we are facing in our organization. We are encountering a campus-wide problem where Macs are take an unusually long time to delete files on external drives formatted with ExFAT. We manage these Macs through Jamf Pro, and numerous policies are applied when the devices are enrolled. We have tested the issue in both scenarios—when the Macs are connected to the domain and when they are not—and the slow deletion persists in both cases. At this point, we are unsure whether the issue lies on our end or if it is related to the operating system itself. If anyone has found a fix or workaround for this problem, we would appreciate your input.

IOS 18.3.2(22D82) Enterprise signature installation package crashes
Recently, we have encountered some users who have been unable to open the enterprise signature application after upgrading to version 18.3.2, without an IPS file. "fdesetup add" appears to cause the loss of the Secure Token
Hello, I've noticed some unexpected behavior when updating a user's FileVault password. The set up: All actions are performed in virtualized macOS 14 and 15.5 guests on a 15.5 Apple Silicon host. FileVault is enabled. sjsp is a standard user with a Secure Token. The Mac is bound to AD, and the domain is reachable. Reproduction: systemctl -secureTokenStatus sjsp shows it's ENABLED. fdesetup remove -user sjsp fdesetup add -usertoadd sjsp systemctl -secureTokenStatus sjsp shows it's DISABLED. Surprisingly, sjsp is still able to unlock FileVault. Verification Code Still Sent to Old Phone Number After Changing Apple ID Number
Hello everyone, I recently changed the phone number associated with my Apple ID (about 4 days ago), but I’m still receiving the two-factor authentication verification codes on my old number instead of the new one. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a delay on Apple’s side, or is there something else I need to do to complete the update?

Enterprise Program Renewal
We are trying the renewal the apple Enterprise program. It asks set of questions after that it shows the below message "Thank you for your request to renew your membership in the Apple Developer Enterprise Program. We’ll review your submission and get back to you shortly to let you know if we can process the renewal or if another program better serves your organization’s needs." We have submitted for review for over two months now. During these two months, we have contacted the official customer service multiple times, only to be told to wait for news. Now, with only a few days left, The status hasn't changed, neither approved nor rejected,what should we do?This account is very important to our company. Thank you

External Data Use for Swift Student Challenge
Hello, Although the Swift Student Challenge for 2025 has not yet been announced and is not officially taking place, I have a question regarding last year’s rules in the Swift Student Challenge. This is, of course, assuming the rules will be similar if the challenge runs again next year. I am interested in utilizing CreateML to design a text classifier model. Given the substantial amount of data required for machine learning, am I allowed to outsource data from open-source libraries and/or social media platforms, provided that these resources abide by their terms of service? Server docking subscription and automatic subscription interface
Hello: The App Store provides https://developer.apple.com/help/app-store-connect/configure-in-app-purchase-settings/enter-server-urls-for-app-store-server-notifications When the server interfaces with this interface, it is found that the specific user account cannot be found. How should I know which user initiated the subscription, or which user automatically subscribed during automatic renewal? Do you have a user account or ID?
