Request for Urgent Assistance with Developer Account Suspension
Hello, I am reaching out regarding the suspension of my Apple Developer account and the removal of my app from the App Store. I have already submitted an appeal and provided detailed explanations addressing the concerns raised by the App Store team, but I have not yet received a response. The suspension has caused significant issues for my app’s iOS users, as they are unable to receive updates and enjoy the latest features available to Android users. Many iOS players have expressed their frustration, and this situation is affecting the overall user experience and trust in the platform. I believe the issues raised by Apple might stem from a misunderstanding. I have clarified that my app does not engage in any fraudulent or misleading activities and have submitted updates to resolve potential areas of confusion. I kindly request any guidance or assistance to expedite the review process, as this situation is causing harm to both my users and the reputation of my app. Thank you for your time and understanding. I appreciate any support or suggestions you can provide to resolve this matter promptly. Best regards,

Ghost Function - Automatic and Backdated Firebase Updates
Hi everyone, I am experiencing an issue that I wasn't able to identify its source after spending days in debugging and need some help / assistance. I have recently been to a local Apple Event dedicated to help and explain us how to use Instruments and Xcode Metrics tools, and also booked a Lab session with few of the Evangelists over there but the time wasn't enough for them to identify the root cause either. I have created a function that will lookup for all available jobs under one's account and toggle them between Private or Public based on the selection. Since I have ran and tested it I ended up with a continuous loop and update in Firebase of the jobs found that blocks the UI and freezes the app ( does not terminate it although ), in the following scenarios: When I reopen the app during the same logged session, the update is triggered but is backdated, so it will always update the field values for update and isPrivate fields to when was originally triggered, not in the present time. If I log out and login again it gets triggered again If I logout, remove the app completely and reinstall it the problem does not appear until I trigger again the toggle button from Privacy screen. This is where the settings sits. Profile Tab > Settings > Privacy. I have used all the available tools from Instruments to try to investigate the issue without any success, Profiler/SwiftUi etc... even disabled the func completely, uninstalled the app, reinstalled it, ran it again but the loop or however I can call it is still there, it still runs when I toggle the Privacy options button. For another account I have deleted the job from Firebase but in Xcode console I can see that something is calling the previous job id and trying to update the jobs for this account too, even if there are no more jobs documents in Firebase… The toggle button was working perfectly fine ( was changing only privacy settings per account ) before I have updated it with another func to change the jobs privacy too. I am puzzled on how come this update, which is related to an action of a button, gets triggered automatically when the app launches? Therefore, could someone please let me know if you have experienced something similar in the past and how did you solve it or how can I use the Instruments better than I am probably using them now to actually identify this ghost function ( hence I removed it completely from the code base and is still called ) that triggers this update ? Thank you

Provisioning profile, all steps carefully taken, still rejected
After several years' lapse, I am coming back into app development for iPhone. Here's what I did: Renewed my membership to Apple developer I created a wildcard identifier, "me.joymaker.*" I created a certificate Using Xcode, I introduced my newest iPhone (a 12 mini) to Apple developer. Unlike my older models, this one has a UDID with a hyphen in it. To get it to take the UDID I had to remove the-and then paste the remaining continuous number into the field. But then it accepted it, and showed it back to me complete with hyphen. I created a development provisioning profile using that certificate and ID, checking the box that said "Select all", so that every device registered to my account was included. Using Xcode, I tried to upload the provisioning profile to the phone. OOPS. Xcode replies, "Failed to install one or more provisioning profiles on the device. Please ensure the provisioning profile is configured for this device." Yes, I am very that it was! There was an older identifier in the account, left over from years ago, named "XCode: Wildcard AppID", with an identifier of simply '*'. I tried building a provisioning profile with that one. Same results. Now what? How to diagnose, how to pursue this? BTW, although XCode sees this phone without difficulty, Music and Finder don’t. Relevant?? See this question for more details.

ktx compression method
I've been working on generating a KTX format cubemap using the xcrun realitytool image --generate-cube-map command, but I'm encountering an issue with the file size. The cubemap file ends up being around 128 MB(2k), which is too large for my needs. I'm hoping to get some advice on a few points: Is there any way to reduce the file size of the KTX cubemap generated with this command? I’d appreciate any tips on compression settings or alternative approaches that could help shrink the file size while retaining good quality. Is there any documentation available for this command? I've been exploring on my own, but a comprehensive guide would be helpful. Are there alternative methods for converting textures to the KTX format? If anyone has experience with other tools or workflows that work well for this, please share!

Can’t use my account after registering for the membership program
I already filed a ticket with the support team, but they just told me that I need to wait. Honestly, I’ve been waiting for 2 or 3 months since the first ticket, so I’m curious if I did something wrong. The issue is that after registering for the program, I can log in to my account but can’t access the certifications page. It says that I haven’t registered for the program, even though I did, and I’m listed as both the account holder and admin. I suspect this problem occurred because I changed my email address. The last time I registered for the Apple Developer account, I used a different email, and this time I used another one. Has anyone else faced this issue? I’m new to iOS development, so please let me know if I did something wrong. Edit: I called the support team three times, and they told me to wait for the process. Now, three months have passed. I’m just curious if anyone here has received the same poor support as me.

Enterprise App Profile Installation Issue on iOS 18.1
Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with our enterprise app profile installation on iOS 18.1. The app and profile installed correctly on previous iOS versions, but on iOS 18.1, the app installs successfully while the profile fails to install. Notably, this issue does not occur on all devices. We have verified that our certificates comply with the latest standards and are valid, and we’ve prepared a focused test project that can reproduce the issue. I’d like to know if Apple has suggested submitting a code-level support request for similar cases and if there are any additional requirements for profile installation on iOS 18.1. Any guidance on resolving this issue would be appreciated.

Membership enrollment
I recently created an account and attempted to pay the $99 USD fee for the Apple Developer Program. I was informed that it might take up to 48 hours for the payment to be processed. However, it has now been 6 days, and the payment has not been debited from my account, nor has the membership been activated. I've double-checked my payment method, account details, and any possible notifications but haven't found any issues or updates regarding this delay. I also contacted Apple Support through email a few days ago but have not received any response so far. Has anyone experienced a similar problem where the payment hasn't been processed after several days? If so, what steps did you take to resolve it?

Testing Apple Pay
I'm trying to integrate Apple Pay into PayPal Checkout and have followed their instructions and all is looking good. I imagined that I could test in the PayPal Sandbox with a live card (as per GooglePay) but when testing the "oncancel" callback is called. My question is, is it a requirement to have a Developer Account setup with test card numbers to test Apple Pay or can you test with live cards in the Sandbox?

Canniot enable Developer Mode on my Apple Watch Series 7?
Hi to all, I'm new to WatchOS development and trying to enable the Developer Mode on my Apple Watch Series 7. I've enabled Developer Mode on my iPhone and did the same on my Apple Watch. After enabling Developer Mode on the watch it asks me to restart the watch. After a restart it asks me again if I want to enable Developer Mode. Of course! I don't succeed in installing the app on my watch because Xcode is "waiting for first unlock" of my watch. When I look in Settings > Privacy > Developer Mode the toggle switch is disabled. I can enable the switch but the watch asks me to restart and this is the loop I'm in. Anybody suggestions for 'permanently enabling' Developer Mode on my Apple Watch? Thanks in advance!
