“smb big sur”

I just updated my MacBook Pro to Big Sur and my external SSD ejects itself not long after loading onto the desktop. I'm getting a message that says, 'Eject Extreme SSD before disconnecting or turning it toff' and the SSD ejects. Can't do anything with it. I read that Catalina had the same bug which was fixed but wasn't fixed for Big Sur. Any help would be appreciated. I have all my client work on the ExSSD.

I've updated to Big Sur from Catalina and I'm having trouble when connecting to WiFi networks. At first no network appeared and now even though it has connected silently to my usual network, it is showing as no connected, but internet actually works. Anyone having this kind of problems so far? I haven't seen anything related on the forums nor the release notes.

Since upgrading to Big Sur, I can no longer tether my camera to my MBP. Anybody else having this issue?

Running latest Big Sur Beta, 20A5395g, and noticed high cpu usage from SceneKitQLTemplateExtension. I saw some Catalina advice here to just kill it, but it eventually restarts. I thought perhaps it just needs to accomplish something lengthy and let it run all night, but it was still running in the morning. Anything I can try to address this?

Was upgrading to Big Sur - cleared space needed to download. Downloaded successful. Started install. Installer demanded another 20GB of free space for install. How do I interrupt and remove downloaded package from this point? Thanks in advance. Keith

Hi my MacBook Pro stopped updating at Big Sur although it’s not old it’s 2015. So to use the new SwiftUI features isn’t enough to upgrade to Xcode 14 or it won’t install on my machine ? Kindest Regards

iMac 2019 Big Sur cannot even connect to my etherne, Noway to connect to ( S.O.S )

Well it seems that the drivers for the ethernet adapters are probably going to need updating. Does anyone know where I can find the updated driver for Big Sur? I had this issue with the last beta and just remembered it now that I'm without an ethernet adapter to use. I use the 3 Gig adapter from Amazon Basics and it's worked excellent.

Hi, I have a MacBook Air from 2013 and recently installed Big Sur (before that I hade Sierra). In the finals steps of the installment I got an error message but somehow could finish the installment. However, after that, Safari will not launch anymore at all and also, ALL built in system apps are now double (the Sierra one plus the Big Sur one). How can I fix that problem / delete the doubles? Thanks :)
