I was thrown off by the WatchKit App terminoligy used, too. I was expecting there to be a watchOS app option. But the WatchKit app selection is what you want. All watch apps linked against watchOS 2.0 will install the Watch Extension on the watch vs on the device. Here's a link to the relevant transition guide:watchOS 2 Transition Guide

XCode crashes when I fetch the provisioning profiles and continues to crash when opening any project (because it is going and checking the provisioning profiles). This first occurred when adding provisioning profiles and linking my account (in Xcode) to the developer portal.I opened issue 21220696 in the apple bug reporter but have not recieved an response.I can reproduce this issue every time. Here is the video of it happening. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEaN6UnO59wThis is occuring on Xcode Version 6.3.2 (6D2105) & 10.10.3 (14D136)Here is the crash debug: https://gist.github.com/cdesch/86058dd98f22774d36bb

Well, first you need to decide what you should put in different places. ie: watchos2 requires a different way of thinking. What are you calculating? If the inputs for the calculations come directly from Apple Watch, then it is much better that the extension runs on Apple Watch itself. If the inputs do NOT come directly from Apple Watch, you may think about doing calculations in parent app in background (or even on a server) and using WatchConnectivity to send them to Apple Watch from the parent iOS app.For instance, we (at Mouseaddict) track where the user goes inside of Disneyland when they are visiting. This type of data can be displayed on Apple Watch in a glance or watch app. (it does not now, but it could). This would be perfect for running on the parent app because the datam we are crunching does not come directly from Apple Watch itself - it is lat/lon and the phone provides that because Apple Watch doesn't have a GPS. Hence this should be crunched in the bkg on the parent iOS app and

You can still build a test your app on 2 and then submit using Xcode 6. I run beta iOS updates and then build production apps with the old Xcode - you don't need a device plugged in to do this. However you're risking missing bugs as your test OS doesn't match your build OS. As for switching between watchOS 1 and 2 - downgrades are not supported or reccomended.

Hi - we are having some issues with the latest Xcode server beta and Xcode 7 (tbh, we were having worse issues previously, and things seem to be much better now - we get a lot further into the integration setup before we get a failure!)I am seeing the follwing message in the raw bulid log:iPhoneSimulator: Timed out waiting 120 seconds for simulator to boot, current state is 1.We are behind a proxy that requires authentication, and I was suspecting this as the problem, as I see a proxy authentication dialog whenever I launch the simulator manually (unfortunately, this seems to be a persistent problem with our network). However, I have managed to configure the network settings is such a way that this doesn't occur any more. I'm bemused what could be preventing the simmulator from launching.Anybody know where I could look to find out what the problem is ? What user do the xcode bots run under when then execute ?I'd love to get Xcode bots working properly - we are so close and yet so far
Same issue here on a 2010 mbp (hi-res).Running from the terminal, it spits out :Assertion failed: (ctx), function CIEAGLContextCreate, file /Library/Caches/com.apple.xbs/Sources/CoreImage/CoreImage-327.6/Framework/misc/CIEAGLContext.m, line 261. right before aborting trap 6.Photos runs fine on another (newer) machine.

I'm just wondering if there's list anywhere of certain features that are only available on certain devices. I know multi-tasking is specific to certain devices, but wondering what others there are? I noticed that the notes app on my iPod Touch 5th Gen didn't have the drawing feature which I thought was a bit odd, but not sure if it's even meant to be on the iTouch or not. So far I can't find anything about which features are on which devices.
iOS 9, iPhone 6 PlusRunning my app from Xcode 7 works great the first time. Then I stop it, make some changes and run it again - this causes the phone to freeze up completely. Anyone else encountered anything similar? Any ideas why this might be? Other than some bug in either iOS 9 or Xcode 7.Thanks!
redundant binary upload. There already exists a binary upload with build version '1.10' for train '1.10' at SoftwareAssets/PreReleaseSoftwareAsset

I thought I did everything right. I downloaded and installed Xcode 7 beta, iOS 9 beta, and opened the watchOS 2 beta config on my phone then selected Apple Watch as install location. Next I go to the Software Update section in the Apple Watch app, and it endlessly checks for an update. Where did I go wrong and what's the next step to fix it?
I developed a simple game app using Flash CC, I converted the game thru Adobe AIR and have a working IOS app. I was curious to see if it is possible to open the .ipa that was created and published in Flash and be able to to open in XCode so I can view the code and build.I was able to rename the file and save as a .zip and insode I do the a Payload folder which has the name of the app with the .app extensionI created a new workspace in XCode and imported the .app, Xcode sees it but I can only view resoursr and plist filesMy goal here is to build this kind of app IN XCode / Swift from scratch. This would be great for me since I know a bit of actionscript and since the Flash app has actionscript I would think that it would be converted to Objective C am I right?Any help?R
