Reality Composer Pro Timeline does not seem to work on iphone 12 and 11
I created a project using Reality Composer Pro. When I export to a .usdz file, it works well on iPhone 13, 14, 15, and 16 but not on iPhone 12 and 11. In the timeline, I use a behaviour that is on added to scene to active intro animation and loop background audio. But it does not work on old device like iPhone 12 and 11. Also, all interactive taps/touch points/audio don't seem to work too. Iphone 13,14,15,16 is on ios 18.1. iPhone 11, 12 is on ios 17.6.1. Here is sample usdz file exported from REality Composer Pro 2.0 that has problem above: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sHZn9JABTswLq2flYjToTbWDuE5T7eNw/view?usp=sharing

Xcode 16 Beta 4 won't connect to my iPhones or iPad
I recently upgraded my iPhone 13 PM to iOS 18 Dev Beta 4 and iPhone 11 PM to iOS 18 Public Beta 1 and now my Mac (on Sequoia 15 Beta) with Xcode 16 Beta 4 won't connect to my iPhone to build apps to. The iPhones won't even show up in the Devices and Simulators view. It shows up in Finder fine, though. I have already tried Clearing Trusted Computers from the phones and also unpairing the devices through Xcode, and now it won't even show up (previously it was telling me to enable developer mode on my iPhone which I already had, and I also disabled and enabled it several times to make sure it wasn't the issue) my iPad on iPadOS 18.1 Beta also won't connect and also upgrading my Mac to MacOS Sequoia 15.1 Beta didn't help. I was browsing the forums the other day and noticed that someone said you need to have the same exact build of iOS on the Xcode simulator runtime you have installed as the phone you are attempting to connect to, and I notice

Reply to WorkoutKit WorkoutScheduler sync Broken with iOS 18.2 beta
We’ve received numerous reports from our users about this issue. After conducting extensive tests—including using the barebones Apple sample app (Sample Planner)—I observed that the scheduler is being updated in the debugger. However, the workouts are not appearing on the watch. It seems this feature was functioning properly in iOS 18.0.1, but it stopped working in later versions. I can confirm that it was still operational in 18.2 with an iPhone 13, but not with the iPhone 16 or 16 Pro. This functionality is crucial for our app as it allows us to push workouts to the watch, which is a key feature for our users. We hope this can be addressed soon.

Bluetooth stuttering iPhone 12 Pro with Skoda Octavia
Hi, I recently switched from Android to iPhone 12 Pro. My car is Skoda Octavia 2015. Since the very first time my iPhone was connected to the car audio, the sound is stuttering once in 15 - 20 seconds, turning my music experience from pleasant to annoying. How come that I have now almost the best phone in the world, and I have problems in a very basic functionality, where, by the way, Android never let me down. Please help! Thank you.

iPhone 14 Pro UICollectionView scrollToItem not working
Faced with a problem, it is played only on iPhone 14 pro. There is a collectionView (isPagingEnabled = true), that will fall horizontally using the scrollToItem method(at: indexpath, at: .centeredHorizontally, animated: true), and at the same time, if the collection is not on the zero cell, it is moved to the zero cell, regardless of the specified indexPath. In this case, the func setContentOffset(_ contentOffset: CGPoint, animated: Bool) method outputs contentOffset = (0, 0). If you count the customPoint and pass it to override func setContentOffset(_ contentOffset: CGPoint, animated: Bool) { super.setContentOffset(customPoint, animated: animated) }, then it works correctly. The problem was detected only on iPhone 14 pro for all supported iOS. P.S. collectionView.isPagingEnabled = false ... collectionView.isPagingEnabled = true don't work!

Apple CarPlay does not work on iPhone 11 Pro Max
We bought a new car with CarPlay support: Mini Countryman, 2021 model year. Unfortunately, there are issues when using CarPlay with iPhone 11 Pro Max. The phone connects, starts working, but after awhile some weird issues start to happen: sometimes the music is jammed, and it looks like the screen also freezes. This looks some kind of a connectivity issue. We have visited our dealer and they rebooted (or something similar) the car system. This didn't help. The phone uses the latest iOS 15 update. The same car works totally fine with iPhone 12 Pro with the newest release iOS 15 version. No issues ever happen. Considering this fact, it looks like there is some problem with the iPhone 11 Pro Max, and not the car. Does anyone know if it can be somehow fixed? I have read similar older topics, but I couldn't find any solutions. Of course I tried to reconnect the phone, forget it in the car, reset network settings. Didn't help.

After degrading my iOS 16 beta 4 I bricked my iPhone
Yesterday I wanted to go back from iOS 16 beta 4 to iOS 15.6 from an iPhone 8, that has to be a gift. First, I was tryibg to do this by iTunes, yet after attempt on installing the system, an error popped up. I didn’t have any important data on my phone, so I decided to go to recovery mode and erase the system and update it through iTunes…with exactly the same outcome. But this time I could not go out from recovery mode because of erasing data… I don’t know what to do. I tried plenty of times, even using such programs as Dr fone, but I can’t do anything. There’s always a successful attempt to install an update but after a minute of updating it stops and on the computer there’s the error. Any advices?

iPhone 12 Pro, 13 Pro Max take super-bright (maybe overexposed) photos with flash
On the current project once again I use the camera. I use two streams of video and photo Video to detect rectangle and photo to capture a photo with the flash. After several checks I found the bug. On 12 Pro & 13 Pro Max in a bright room I obtain overexposed photos, if I do the same in a dark room, there are no overexposed photos. This behavior is not available on older iPhones. I look forward to all your suggestions and comments. Environment: iOS 15.4.1, iPhone 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 13, 13 Pro, 13Pro Max Additional info: I capture photo in - func photoOutput(_ output: AVCapturePhotoOutput, didFinishProcessingPhoto photo: AVCapturePhoto, error: Error?) {...}

iPhone 11 Pro 512GB
Started having a couple issues with Bluetooth sound connections a few months ago. Currently running iOS 14.6 and all device firmwares are up to date. Sound is audibly scrambling randomly during calls when using my AirPods or other Bluetooth headphones/speakers. It lasts for 3-5 seconds then goes back to normal audio. The person on the other side of the call doesn’t hear it. This started about 3 months ago. Music audio cuts out completely in locations when connected to Bluetooth devices (hands free car connection (not CarPlay), Amazon Echo Auto, AirPods, Bose NC 700 headphones, etc). This started a couple weeks ago after updating the iOS to 14.6. After a couple minutes of playing music through Spotify on my phone to my Bose NC 700 headphones, the headphones give a loud buzz then disconnect randomly. This might be the same issue as above, but I just got these headphones today and the cutout sound is different than the other devices so I’m including it.

UIImagePickerController: Camera preview on iPhone 12 (Pro) at undefined position?
Using UIImagePickerController, on all devices except iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro (and maybe devices that will become available in the future) the camera preview is aligned at the top of the screen. On the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro (and maybe other iPhone 12 variants), the preview is no longer aligned at the top, but at a position that does not seem to be determinable (guess: about 100 pixels from the top). This becomes a problem if cameraOverlayView is used to present a mask to the user to help him positioning an object at a specific location within the capture. The alignment of the preview should be at the top of the screen (as on other devices) or there should be any way to determine the offset. Anyone has any idea how to solve that?
