Reply to My App Rejected 4.3 Design: Spam
The app guideline you mentioned specifically mentions dating apps so I'd assume the reviewer is applying this blanket guidance. It mentions the app must provide a unique, high-quality experience. I think you need to specifically explain to Apple why your app is different from the other dating apps. Also, I'd make sure the first run experience demonstrates these unique capabilities. If the Apple reviewer had a poor impression on the first run, that may have impacted their decision. 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough fart, burp, flashlight, fortune telling, dating, drinking games, and Kama Sutra apps, etc. already. We will reject these apps unless they provide a unique, high-quality experience. Spamming the store may lea

App rejected as spam because using same proprietary engine
I recently submitted an app to the App Store which was rejected as spam (Section 4.3). After speaking to an Apple rep, I learned the reason. The app is based on a propietary cross-platform engine which I have been developing for several years. We are not using any third-party software or 'app templates'. A couple of years ago my son and I collaborated on another project - I did the coding using the same engine, but he did the design and content creation. He published it under his own developer account. We worked together on the new app as well. They are both educational apps. The older one is used for learning algebra, and the new one for memorising language vocabulary. They do not look the same and have completely different content. But App's search engines have detected commonality in the code, because much of the underlying engine is the same, and because we are using different developer accounts, has rejected the latest as spam. I wondered if anyone else had encountered this kind of issue, and if

Reply to A problem I'm going through
I also received this message and the problem is our app has an online version already. We just fixed some bugs and tried to upgrade the version of our application in the AppStore. We tried about 4 times, the reason was always 4.3 Degisn: Spam. We are confused because we didn't change any of the binary or concept or UI, just some inner bugs fix. We tried to appeal but got no reply.

Reply to App Rejection for Astrology App
The same problem `Guideline 4.3 - Design - Spam Your app primarily features astrology, horoscopes, palm reading, fortune telling or zodiac reports. As such, it duplicates the content and functionality of many other similar apps currently available on the App Store. While these app features may be useful, informative or entertaining, we simply have enough of these types of apps on the App Store, and they are considered a form of spam. Next Steps We encourage you to review your app concept and incorporate different content and features that are in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.` I spent many days working with Apple, even changing and removing the horoscope, numerology,... functions, leaving only the features related to Tarot cards, but the results remained unchanged, Apple Guys did not care about the content of our application, they simply think that there are too many applications of this type on their store, it's unfair but we can't do anything else, even if our application is bette

App Store Review 4.3 . help!help!help!
We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. Next Steps Since we do not accept spam apps on the App Store, we encourage you to review your app concept and submit a unique app with distinct content and functionality. Resources Some factors that contribute to a spam rejection may include: Submitting an app with the same source code or assets as other apps already submitted to the App Store Creating and submitting multiple similar apps using a repackaged app template Purchasing an app template with problematic code from a third party Submitting several similar apps across multiple accounts Learn more about our requirements to prevent spam in App Store Review Guideline 4.3.

Reply to App Store Review 4.3 . help!help!help!
I have the same problem. I made a game, uploaded it, and passed the moderation. Then, when updating to a new version, after adding in-app purchases using RevenueCat, I received a rejection. Guideline 4.3 - Design We noticed your app shares a similar binary, metadata, and/or concept as apps submitted to the App Store by other developers, with only minor differences. Submitting similar or repackaged apps is a form of spam that creates clutter and makes it difficult for users to discover new apps. The game is also written in Flutter. Could that be the issue? Any ideas on what to do? I've already rewritten it from scratch twice, with entirely different code.

Bogus 4.3.0 Rejections - Need Help!
Since April 1, 2022, the App Review Team and App Review Board have been consistently rejecting my app, the reason being, Guideline 4.3 - Design We continue to find that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam. This is 100% false because my app has unique features not found on other apps on the App Store. The strange part is the supposedly similar apps don't even offer the features that my app offers yet those apps are able to get their app submissions approved. I should also mention those apps were published after mine. I have provided screenshots, video demos, source code, spoken to App Review team and they are still rejecting the app because of 4.3.0. It appears they are overlooking the information I've been providing and responding with generic responses. Should I file a complaint with the BBB? It's evident that selective bias and unfair treatment is happening with the App Review Te

Reply to App Rejected Due to 4.3.0 Spam
Spam is not only a question of code, it may be also that is app looks too close to an existing app, so the experience is not unique or category is already too crowded. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Apple Developer Program. Have you searched for other similar games on the App Store ?

4.3 Design Spam (Suggestion for Apple)
Hello, I would like to make an appeal on behalf of small businesses around the world. My name is André, I'm a developer and an entrepreneur. When Apple was created its biggest mission was to bring technology to everyone. I'm in love with this ideology. Technology for all in an easy and usual way. Many development companies work hard to generate jobs, move their country's economy, realize dreams, and bring quality technology to users.Currently I received a call from Simone, from Apple's review team (case: 1769784) - she was very caring, polite and professional.Simone told me that my applications are outside of Apple's guidelines, my case is item 4.3 Design Spam. She suggested that I create a container application to solve the problem. As I accepted being an Apple developer I should suit the guidelines. However, it is a guideline that goes against information democracy. Brands do not want to share spaces with competitors. Example is Apple itself. Apple has concept stores around the world that only sell App

Reply to Can SAAS-developed template apps pass the review and be published?
Appstore Guideline 4.3 may forbid you to do so. And here are some advices on how to handle it. 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/
