I have this code in my Virutalization application let process = Process() process.executableURL = URL(fileURLWithPath: /usr/sbin/diskutil) process.arguments = [image, create, blank, --fs, none, --format, ASIF, --size, 2GiB, url.path ] try process.run() process.waitUntilExit() if process.terminationStatus == 0 { print(✅ Disk image creation succeeded.) } else { print(❌ Disk image creation failed with exit code (process.terminationStatus)) } } catch { print(Process failed to launch: (error.localizedDescription)) return } this code was working fine until Tahoe 26.2. with the update of 26.3 the system freezes at process.waitUntilExit() The code never exits and i get beech balls. This is working fine with intel macs. i am getting the problem in apple silicon m4 mac mini. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the post, that seems like something the consumer support can help you figure it out. We appreciate your interest in participating in the forums! These forums are for questions about developing software and accessories for Apple platforms. Hello Apple Developer Community, I’m seeking guidance regarding a critical issue with our organization’s Apple Developer Program account. The Apple ID belonging to our Account Holder is currently inaccessible, which has effectively blocked us from managing the account. We urgently need either to restore access to that Apple ID or have the Account Holder role reassigned so we can continue maintaining and updating our apps. I’ve already contacted Apple Developer Support but have not yet received a actionable response, and the matter is time-sensitive because our clients depend on our ability to manage these applications. Relevant details: Our enrollment type supposed to be converted to Organization/Company. The Account Holder’s Apple ID is locked and cannot be used. I have Admin/Manager-level access via a separate Apple ID. Based on the official documentation, transferring the Account Holder role requires initiation by the current Account Holder, wh

Hi guys, I am new to the Apple Developer Program (enrolled a few days ago) and this is my first app notarization attempt. I've been experiencing significant delays - all submissions have been stuck at In Progress for over 24 hours. Details: macOS app signed with Developer ID Application certificate Using xcrun notarytool with app-specific password Hardened runtime enabled codesign --verify --deep --strict passes Team ID: QVHM976XC5 Submission IDs (all stuck In Progress): 5f494a89-0db0-4cc6-944f-ca2fe399e870 (latest - 8+ hours) 938f6b8d-0d00-45f5-861d-68fe470df6c2 d0edcbfe-8464-455f-b077-bebaa5b9aab7 I understand new developers may experience longer initial processing, but 24+ hours seems excessive. Is there anything I should check or any additional steps required for new accounts? Any guidance appreciated.

Hi, I’m running into a persistent issue in App Store Connect related to TestFlight and app reviews, and I’m hoping someone has seen this before. Around two weeks ago, I started getting the following error when trying to create external TestFlight builds: ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING Since then: I cannot create any external TestFlight tests Internal TestFlight builds appear, but cannot be downloaded (“The requested app is not available or doesn’t exist”) My apps do not progress properly through review One app got stuck in “In Review” for ~10 days; I eventually withdrew it and resubmitted it At this point, I cannot update two existing apps, and I can’t start testing a new app at all Important details: This is an individual developer account I am the Account Holder All contracts appear active and valid The issue affects multiple apps, not just one Nothing changed on my side (no contract updates, no account changes) before this started happening. I’ve already reached out to Apple Developer
Hello. My developer membership is expired. I cannot renew because the renewal option/button does not appears in any device. A banner tells me: Any apps you had on the App Store are no longer available for download and you can no longer access membership benefits. If you’d like to renew your membership to reinstate your apps and membership benefits, open the Apple Developer app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Sign in to your account, tap/click Renew, and follow the prompts. If you agreed to the Paid Applications Agreement, you’ll need to agree to it again after renewal in the Agreements, Tax and Banking section of App Store Connect. However, there's no Renew to tap or click anywhere in the app nor in the web. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.
Hello, my Apple Developer Program had expired 20 days ago, but i cant renew in any way (auto-renew dont work, i dont have renew button on web, dont have it in iOS and macOS developer apps, so i cant renew it. Has anyone encountered this problem? How can i solve it and renew my membership?
Unfortunately I think your question is too broad to answer authoritatively. You've listed a very diverse set of servers, some of which have many individual services which could each have different rate limiting policies on different operations. In some cases Apple does not publicly document rate limits because documenting them helps potential attackers who design their attack to approach the rate limit as closely as possible without exceeding it. Some rate limits are also dynamic, responding to variations in load, to outages, or to active attacks, so there's no hard limit to document. Setting all that aside, it's not unusual to have a device go through Automated Device Enrollment on a daily basis, and possibly a bit more frequently than that. On the other hand, it would not be normal for a device to go through Automated Device Enrollment multiple times per hour. If your deployment relies on a reasonable rate of resets and you hit a rate limit, please report it to Apple using Feedback Assista

Hello everyone, I am looking for technical clarification regarding potential rate limits when automating frequent iOS device resets. In my workflow, I need to reset test devices multiple times per day using the EraseDevice MDM command, often combined with the ReturnToService flag for automated setup. I understand that after a full reset, the device undertakes several critical steps to become operational again, including device activation, system app installation, MDM re-enrollment, and subsequent validation of developer certificates for internally distributed apps. Based on Apple’s documentation and my own observations, I am aware of the following domains being involved in these processes: Device Activation: albert.apple.com, gs.apple.com, captive.apple.com, humb.apple.com, static.ips.apple.com, sq-device.apple.com, tbsc.apple.com, time*.apple.com System App Installation: *.itunes.apple.com, *.apps.apple.com, *.mzstatic.com MDM Enrollment: Communication with Apple ADE servers followed by the
In iOS 18, TabView with .tabViewStyle(.sidebarAdaptable) introduced a powerful adaptive pattern — tabs in compact, sidebar in regular. However, the current Tab API only supports a title and an image (icon). There is no way to provide a trailing accessory view (e.g., a secondary icon or indicator) for sidebar rows. This is a meaningful gap in the API, because trailing accessories are a well-established pattern throughout UIKit and SwiftUI. Precedent in Apple's own design language Apple already supports trailing accessories in many analogous contexts: UITableViewCell / UICollectionViewListCell — support accessories (disclosure indicators, checkmarks, custom views) via UICellAccessory. UIListContentConfiguration — allows leading and trailing content in list rows. SwiftUI List rows — support Label, HStack with trailing elements, .badge(), and swipeActions. NavigationLink — automatically renders a disclosure chevron as a trailing accessory. UITabSidebarItem (UIKit, iOS 18) — supports configuratio
Any logical reason why applying .sharedBackgroundVisibility(.hidden) to a ToolbarItem would not remove the spacing allocated for glass border? Thus causing any element utilizing this functionality to appear offset from the regular buttons. Or is this yet another magical Apple experience I am not blessed enough to understand.
Hello @Omar_luay These forums are for code-level support. This question is better suited for the Apple Support Communities https://discussions.apple.com/welcome I would recommend to post it there instead of the developer forums. One tip I have is to confirm you are typing the exact same credentials you use to log into https://developer.apple.com/account/ Travis Trotto - DTS Engineer

Hello. I want to log in to my account on Xcode. It tells me there is an error in my Apple account or password. There is no problem with the password or account. I contacted support and they couldn't solve the problem. What should I do?
Solved the problem myself. The key is to not set a colorspace. This allows ScreenCaptureKit to return raw values, including values > 1.0. It would be nice if Apple's documentation included more semantics, i.e. more description of the functionality (not just syntax) of their APIs.
