Hi, I'm struggling really hard to have my app approved on App Store and the reviewer don't provide any useful information to help us understand what's missing and how we can work it out, just some automatic messages like that: Thank you for providing this information. However, the documentation you have provided does not sufficiently demonstrate permission to represent the products or services included in your app, or the parties identified in the documentation are not correct. You can attach documentary evidence in the App Review Information section in App Store Connect. Once you have submitted the necessary authorization, we can continue with your app’s review. This is really frustrating because my app is already up and running on Google and Apple is this BS. Actually we think the reviewer is referring to our own app on Google because on a different comment they talked about Guideline 4.1 - Design - Copycats, so I tried to prove ownership of the Google app but apparently they find it insufficient e
Hi,After I tried to submit my APP for review several times, it was still rejected for the following reasons: Guideline 4.1-Design-Copycats: The app or its metadata appears to contain potentially misleading content. Specifically, the app includes content that resembles ODIKING without the necessary authorization. But odiking belongs to our company's product, I don't know the problem, I don't understand how to prove that this product does not belong to a third party content Tanks1

Hello App developers,I need to make a few changes to my app that was rejected.Issue 1:The screenshots I chose did not reflect my app in use. I looked up the Accurate Metadata section in the App Store Review Guidelines and my images seemed to be OK according to what was written there. They should be the correct aspect racio, as I took them from my device. The images show the full game experience. I'm not sure exactly what is wrong with them?Issue 2:The initial feedback told me that there was a Design - Copycats issue. I was told that my app or its metadata had misleading content with another app. It had appeared that the name I chose closely matched the name of another app. However, I have been unable to confirm if there are any other aspects of the game that I need to change to fix this issue. I'm not sure what to do here as I don't want to be removed from the developer program?Any help is most appreciated.
Hello, I run a small news site, and tried to publish my app to the store but they keep asking me: 4. 1 Design: Copycats ' you have not provided sufficient documentation to demonstrate that you are currently authorized by the rights holder to represent the products or services included in your app. ' i uploaded a well documented txt file ony my website also inside the resolution center. i clearly tell them im the owner of x site and x app belongs to it to fetch data and show it in the app. First they came with third party thing, now they telling me to proof i have ownership i told them how can i show you or tell you im the ownership because i dont think they readed the well documentated txt file inside my hosting url. i think they are taking my time because i use my individual developer account with my first and last name. i do not run a company just freelance posting news to my website, thats the reason why i created individual developer account with apple for publishing my own app. They asked me the

Hi, My app was metadata rejected and I can’t understand why. This is what they said: “Guideline 4.1 - Design - Copycats Your app or its metadata still appears to contain misleading content. Specifically, your app includes content that resembles Yards Per Fantasy.” They are saying my app resembles Yards Per Fantasy but my app IS Yards Per Fantasy so I’m really confused. When I asked for clarification their response wasn’t very helpful. The app is derived from my Wordpress site (YardsPerFantasy.com) using the WPMOBILE.App plugin. Please help! Thank you

I keep getting rejected from the app because of “Guideline 4.1 - Design - Copycats”. I have tried changing the game name, icon, privacy links and other things, but I don't understand exactly what elements of the app are violating my app. After searching the App Store I have not found an app similar to mine. If anyone has encountered this problem who knows how to solve it? Guideline 4.1 - Design - Copycats - This app or its metadata still appears to be misrepresenting itself as another popular app or game already available on the App Store, from a developer's website or distribution source, or from a third-party platform.

Regarding 4.1, I deleted the ranking and text of the title according to your instructions and submitted it. It turned into 4.3(a) spam. How should I deal with it? Why did it become 4.3? Hi everyone, Last month, my endless runner game set in a crypto world was rejected for using the Bitcoin logo, labeled as a Copycats issue. We were asked to remove the logo and Bitcoin prices, even though the Bitcoin logo is public domain. I noticed other Bitcoin games on the AppStore were updated recently without any problems. I couldn't find any rules against using Bitcoin in the guidelines. When I appealed, they just told me to remove it again but didn't explain why. We've updated our game several times before, and only this small bug fix was rejected. Any advice on what are the next step? Anyone experienced this? Cheers
I have developed a mobile app for an electronics marketplace where users can buy and sell electronics. I submitted my app for review, and I received the following feedback: Guideline 4.1 - Design - Copycats The app or its metadata appears to contain potentially misleading content. Specifically, the app includes content that resembles (MyAppName) without the necessary authorization. This is my first app launch, and I would like some clarification on how to address this issue. I’m unsure of the specific content that might resemble myApp and would appreciate guidance on what exactly I need to modify or provide to meet the review guidelines. Could you please clarify the next steps I should take? I would be happy to provide further information if necessary.

According to App Store Review Guidelines 4.1 copycat, developer cannot breach this clause. Buy unfortunately there are hundreds of developer that breach the clause including the big publisher like ketchapp and apple never took an action against it. one example is Ballz copy of swipe break breaker, not only that they even plagerized the phrase the champion of time killer. But it seems there are few clause that indie developer can breach it too if big publishers are breaching it.

I have submitted my app twice, with specific documentation showcasing the termination of agreement of the original release of my game via a publisher two years ago. The original released was removed from the App Store over a year ago and the publishers App Dev account closed. I have now finally readied my game to be published by myself on the App store but keep getting rejected with this info: Your app's metadata contains content that is similar to third-party content, which may create a misleading association with another developer's app or intellectual property. Specifically, the app's description, name, and icons includes references to xxxxxx. Next Steps It would be appropriate to revise the app and metadata to remove this third-party content before resubmitting for review.
