Repeated rejection for Guideline 3.1.2 - Terms of Use despite compliance
Hello community, I'm facing a very frustrating issue for several days with successive rejections for the same guideline 3.1.2 regarding Terms of Use, despite my efforts to comply with the requirements. The problem: Apple keeps rejecting my app saying: "The app's metadata is missing the following required information: A functional link to the Terms of Use (EULA). If you are using the standard Apple Terms of Use (EULA), include a link to the Terms of Use in the App Description." What I have already implemented: In the application: "Terms of Use Apple" links present on ALL purchase pages (signup, premium, boosters, settings) Functional link: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Complete subscription information (duration, price, features) In App Store description: Dedicated line: "Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/" In App Store Connect: "Privacy Policy" field filled Description updated with links My frustration: I feel like it's a bot responding to me because I receive exactly the same message every time, without taking into account my detailed explanations and evidence that I have everything in place. I'm even trying to add elements that aren't necessary out of desperation, but nothing seems to work. Questions: Has anyone else encountered this problem recently? Is there something specific I'm missing? Does the exact format of the link in the description matter? I'm really desperate after several rejections for the same reason. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.

Audio and VoIP background mode
I am building banking application which has audio/video and text chat. It is intended for contacting bank support. When user device has auto lock on after 30 seconds, session is ended, and user needs to initiate it again. Will Apple allow this kind of application to have Audio, Airplay, and Picture in Picture or Voice over IP for background modes for this kind of application or it is against Apple rules (per 2.5.4 - https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/)? Chat framework uses Web sockets and SIP.

App Store Server Notifications not sent
I'm encountering an issue with App Store Server Notifications V2 not being delivered for in-app purchases, even though test notifications work perfectly. On Staging environment everything works as expected. But purchases on production are not arriving. I ran a AppStore Test notification today to ask App Store Server Notifications to send a test notification to my server. And it worked. Despite the test notification working, Apple is not sending any actual purchase-related notifications to my server. When I query the notification history endpoint using the proper millisecond timestamps: POST /inApps/v1/notifications/history { "startDate": 1746887752000, "endDate": 1747386755000 } I get an empty response: { "notificationHistory": [], "hasMore": false } That means it never even attempted to do send anything historically. The timestamps cover the period from my first purchase (May 10, 2025) to present day. I've verified these timestamps are correctly formatted in milliseconds. After the successful Test notification, I can see one entry in the production history. But the previous purchases never triggered anything. Multiple purchases have been made on production in the last 6 days. I didn't store the receipts, thinking that I could rely on these server notifications. What could be the issue, please? Thanks

Can I migrate an App Clip by changing its App Group to match a different main app?
Hi, I’m trying to migrate an App Clip from one main app (App A) to another (App B). These two apps are under the same Apple Developer Account (Team ID), and each has its own App Group. I’m wondering: 1. If I change the App Group configured in the App Clip’s entitlements, will this effectively allow the App Clip to be treated as part of App B? 2. Will this change allow me to reuse the existing App Clip Experiences (e.g., NFC/QR code invocation URLs) that were originally associated with App A? 3. Is such a change sufficient for Apple to treat the App Clip as migrated, or are there additional steps (e.g., changing the Bundle ID, resubmitting the App Clip Experience, etc.) required to complete the migration? I want to confirm whether switching the App Group and submitting a new App Clip with the new app is a valid and seamless way to perform the migration. I understand App Groups are typically used for data sharing, not experience binding — but I want to clarify if switching App Groups affects App Clip–main app association from Apple’s perspective. Thanks in advance!

App Rejection due to Public distribution
Guideline 3.2 - Business We found in our review that your app is intended to be used by a specific business or organization, including partners, clients, or employees, but you've selected public distribution on the App Store in App Store Connect. Since the App Store is intended for apps with a public audience, we recommend reviewing the other distribution options available to you through your Apple Developer Program Account.

ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification type in Production
Hello, We've integrated App Store Server Notifications V2 in our system. We are heavily relying on the ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification type to handle Consumable purchases, but this notification type is available only for Sandbox. And this is for a while now - starting with June 10th 2024 ( https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstoreservernotifications/app-store-server-notifications-changelog#June-10-2024 ). Can you please provide a timeline for when the ONE_TIME_CHARGE notification type will be available in Production ? Thank you!

App Review Delayed for Over 100 Hours – Need Guidance
Hello everyone, I submitted an app titled “المدينة” (Submission ID: 421022ff-da85-421e-b9b0-0381c26cad78) to the App Store, and it has been “In Review” since May 19 at 3:05 PM, now over 100 hours without any status update. I have already submitted a formal legal opinion confirming compliance with Apple’s guidelines, followed up multiple times, and even scheduled an App Review appointment (earliest available date was next Tuesday). However, the delay is affecting a time-sensitive launch with potential contractual penalties. I understand some reviews take longer, but I’d be grateful if anyone from the team or community could provide insight or suggest any further action I can take to help move the review forward. Thank you in advance.

about “Guideline 3.2.1(viii) - Business - Other Business Model Issues - Acceptable”,the domains listed not clearly under your control or ownership.
The audit opinion mentioned that there are uncontrollable domain names on the product metadata page. We uploaded relevant certificates related to these domain names, which is sufficient to indicate that they are under our control. However, this reason was still rejected and no further audit opinion was provided. Therefore, we cannot solve this problem, even though we believe that the domain name control has been explained through the domain name certificate. Therefore, I would like to consult with all of you on how you have resolved this issue?

My project direct distribution is stuck at 'In progress'
Hi everyone, I’m trying to notarize a macOS app for direct distribution (Developer ID, not Mac App Store). The upload went through without any errors, but the submission has been stuck in “In Progress” for over two days and never flips to Accepted or Invalid. here's my enviroment xcode (16.2) macOS (Sonoma 15.5) Notarytool 1.0.0 (bundled with Xcode) Created (31 May 2025 12:42 UTC) Status “In Progress” for 36 + hours What I’ve Tried — No Luck So Far Checked Apple System Status – All services show green. xcrun notarytool history --keychain-profile AC_NOTARY --output-format json – The UUID above always returns "status": "in_progress". No additional fields are updated (e.g. no statusCode, issues, or logUrl). Re-exported + re-uploaded the archive via Xcode Organizer → same result, new UUID also stalls. Re-installed command-line tools and rebooted. 5. No entitlements that usually trigger long scans (e.g. DriverKit, Hardened Runtime is on). Questions Is anyone else seeing unusually long turnaround times for Developer ID notarization this week? Is there a way to “nudge” a stuck submission, or must I wait for an automatic timeout? Would revoking the current submission and re-uploading actually help, or does it land back in the same queue? Any Apple contacts I can ping when the history endpoint never progresses?

App Name capitalization issue
Looking for a solution: our app name is read more clearly when it is lower-case. We have submitted it to the store in that format, and it shows up on the App Store that way, but when it is sent to the devices, it changes to upper case. I am not seeing results on why this is happening or how to change it. The app name is 1on1 Piano, and when it is downloaded on the device, it changes to 1ON1 Piano, which people often mistake for "ioni piano" and "10 and 1 piano," so we would like it to be consistent with our branding where "on" is lowercase.

App Rejected (4.3.0 Design Spam)
I don't have any other games on the app store, so no duplicate bundle IDs. All the code was written by myself. I developed a game where you play as as 1 of 4 Healing classes healing a party of 4 adventurers, with a big talent tree system where you can learn additional healing skills. Various boss fights that test your builds in various ways. I don't feel this design area is saturated, there aren't many games where you play a healer rather than a damage dealer. I've been working on and off on this game for 4 years, it's not a clone app or anything like that. I'm not sure how to proceed, because they didn't elaborate on exactly what rule I am violating.

Rejected new version for 4.3.0 Design Spam
Thank you for your feedback on our game. We have noticed that our latest version (2.0.0) has been rejected for Design 4.3.0: Spam. However, my previous version (1.0.0) with similar features and design has been approved and released. We can confirm that our game is unique, providing distinct functionality and user experience. The app is developed using the Flutter framework, with carefully designed interfaces and interactions to provide a high-quality user experience, along with fun and engaging gameplay. Due to issues with the interface display error on some phone lines in the game on some screens in version 1.0.0 affecting the user experience, we urgently need this update (2.0.0) to resolve these issues and ensure a stable game experience for users. We hope to completely resolve this issue to avoid accidentally encountering this guide in future releases. We ask the review team to re-evaluate the uniqueness and design of our game and assist us in expediting the review process so that we can bring this update to users. If you need further clarification or additional information, please contact us. Thank you for your support and understanding. Sincerely,

Seeking Advice: App Store Approval for React Native Business App Using WebView
I was contacted to develop an app for a company and I’d like some help to know if it has a chance of being approved on the App Store. The system will be entirely built in React Native and will use a SupaBase backend. One detail: before starting, I talked to another developer who ended up dropping the project because he thought it would be impossible for the app to be approved on the App Store due to the use of WebView and because it’s a simple app. How the app works: There’s a home screen showing all the company’s units. When you tap on a unit, it shows its details. On the details screen, there’s a button that opens an internal exam consultation system in a WebView. The rest of the app (navigation, data display, etc.) is all react native. The app also stores those informations offline. My questions: Can using WebView just for this exam consultation part be a problem for approval? Does adding offline storage really help increase the chances? Is there any way to distribute the app without going through the App Store? I appreciate any information you can share.
