Every time I do a device reboot on iPhone the first app clip scan fails to show the card invocation.
Seems like an iOS bug.
This is my own app clip QR code I am using and works fine on 2nd and any scans after.

For some reason my apps have been randomly quiting when not in focus, so if I have whatsapp opened and switch to a different app it will quit by itself. This only became an issue about 3 days ago but wasnt an issue before when I installed the beta version, so I dont think it has anything to do with that. Unfortunately I need to post my question here since I cant on apple's forum. Some apps stay open (e.g chrome, messages, mail)

Help: Recover Photos from iPhone XS Max (A2101) After Updating from iOS 14.6 to 18.7.1
Hi everyone,
I accidentally restored my iPhone XS Max (model A2101) while trying to update from iOS 14.6 to iOS 18.7.1 via iTunes on Windows, and now all my photos are gone. I didn’t have any backup and I’m looking for ways to recover my data.
I’ve tried some recovery software, but they all ask for the encrypted iTunes backup password, which I don’t have. I want to scan the device directly without relying on a backup.
Has anyone successfully recovered photos in a situation like this? Any tools, tips, or services that could help would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

Hello Apple Team,
I love the existing keyboard shortcuts such as Control + Function + Left/Right Arrow which allow moving windows to the left or right half of the screen. It significantly improves window management and productivity.
I would like to kindly request a similar feature to move windows across multiple monitors using a keyboard shortcut. This would be especially helpful for users with multi-monitor setups who want quick and seamless window transitions between displays without using the mouse.
This enhancement could align with Apple's commitment to intuitive and efficient user experience, helping users manage their workspace more effectively.
Thank you for considering this feature request!
I am attempting to add credit cards to Apple Wallet using Web Push Provisioning through our web application and have not been able to find any documentation or integration guide for this. Apple has provided me with In-App provisioning documentation, but this is geared toward mobile development which we are not doing. Does anyone have experience setting up Web Push Provisioning for Apple Wallet that can point me in the right direction for documentation/integration guides?

After recently updating my MacBook Pro (14-inch, 2021, M1 Pro) to macOS Sequoia (15.6), my docking station sporadically disconnects and reconnects about once every 1-5 minutes. This causes my external screens to switch off for about a second, and my external drive to disconnect.
This has (obviously) completely broken my workflow, and I've had to resort to connecting two screens directly to the MacBook. I've had to completely disconnect the external drive for fear of corrupting due to the sudden disconnects.
I've seen other people report the same or similar issues here, and other places. I've tried all kinds of fixes suggested on various forums (reinstalled drivers, cleared preference files, etc.) without any luck.
To be frank, this is a completely unacceptable bug that needs to be fixed ASAP. I cannot accept that installing an os update completely breaks something as fundamental as connecting to external devices via a docker. Especially when this worked completely fine on macOS 13, and I was essentially forced to update because the (working) macOS 13 was no longer supported.

Around October 17, our app was removed from the App Store, and we were later informed that our developer account would be terminated within 30 days. This was an unexpected and shocking notice for us. After carefully reviewing Apple’s Developer Guidelines, we conducted a thorough internal investigation and confirmed that we did, in fact, violate certain policies. However, we are unsure whether the Apple Review Team could give us an opportunity to make corrections—otherwise, our new apps will not be able to launch on the App Store in the future.
The stated reason for our account termination was:
“You provided fraudulent and/or false account information, documentation, or otherwise falsely represented yourself or your submitted app to Apple either during the account enrollment process or after the account was created.”
After reviewing this issue, we identified two foolish and critical mistakes on our part:
We registered our developer account using our Mainland China company, but used a Hong Kong company’s bank account for payments. (Both companies are under the same management, and we have submitted supporting documentation during our appeal.)
Our official website, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service also displayed the name of our Hong Kong company instead of the Mainland China entity used for registration.
Despite these mistakes, we have continued to support our users through email and our Discord community, resolving most issues within 24 hours. We have never deceived our users or the Apple Review Team in any way. For us as developers, providing an excellent user experience has always been our top priority, and we have always aimed to follow Apple’s review and compliance standards closely.
We sincerely hope that, given our situation, the Apple Review Team could grant us an opportunity to correct these issues. We will promptly register a new Hong Kong Apple Developer Account, and once our app is reinstated, we will migrate all relevant information to that new account to ensure full compliance moving forward.
I am constantly running out of storage on my iPhone 16 Pro. I keep having to move my photos and videos to my laptop and delete them from my phone, and I’m constantly needing to offload apps and manually clear caches in some apps to free up storage. I finally got sick of having this cycle every two weeks so looked into it more closely. I’m finding that iOS consumes 32 GB, and then another system reserve category is consuming an additional 23 GB. Meaning the system reserved files are consuming half of the storage on this phone and effectively making it a 64 GB model. I understand the system will need to consume some capacity for itself and that iOS is getting larger, but nearly 50% of the capacity of the phone is insane.
Looking closer into the categories, I’m seeing that iOS has taken it upon itself to also permanently provision 10% of the storage capacity for reserve update space.
Already another instance of “why am I having to lose so much of my functional capacity to an occasional process?” but I can understand the utility of this — if I didn’t still have to offload basically all my apps every single time I run a software update, because I’m still some not-insignificant amount short. I seem to recall it being between 6-20 GB across the different updates I’ve had to do since iOS 26 rolled around. I’d also like to be clear that preprovisioning the storage space for updates isn’t a bad idea, just give us an off switch if we’d rather be able to take a few hundred more photos, have another few apps, etc. than have the space sit mostly unused.
The biggest culprit is this “system data” category which is somehow consuming as much space as the entire operating system and its extensions.
There’s no clear way to request iOS to clear this down if some of it is temporary data, which we should have a button for even if Apple thinks it should “just work.” Windows usually trims down on its temp files, but on the occasion you go look and see 67 GB of temporary files, being able to manually run the disk cleanup tool is very helpful. I’m hesitant to try any third party app because I shouldn’t need to, and knowing Apple, it wouldn’t have access to anything it would actually have to touch anyway. Which is neither here nor there, but give us a button to clear cache or maybe run the cleanup when the phone reboots?
I am running the developer beta right now so maybe that’s part of it. However I’m not sure… I had switched to mainline release for a while when it released, and it didn’t seem any different with storage consumption and battery drain. I jumped back to beta to see some of the new features and am waiting for another mainline release to switch back to as the recent betas have been much more unstable/buggy than the entire prerelease beta period.
Just wondering if anyone has any kind of input on this storage issue in particular as it’s not really been talked about as much as the battery drain issue from what I can see.
Since updating all my devices, TV, iPhone, iPad, and possibly HomePods and watch nothing works as it should. The worst of all is the inability to download any app from the App Store. Everything is playing up. It’s iOS nightmare. Can’t wait for the next official iOS software update!

Hi,
I'm here hoping for some help or advice in terms of a critical situation I'm currently facing. I want to change the copyright of an app, which was my previous app but now transferred to another company. In the Apple developer panel, is there anywhere that can change the copyright?
Here is a quick summary of the app development,
Software Vendor 1 developed the app, then transferred to Software Vendor 2, eventually the Client user(only paid for the app but don't have developer account) can use it.
Now, I'm the Software Vendor 1 and has transferred the app to Software Vendor 2, but the copyright is still Software Vendor 1; and I want to ask Vendor 2 change the copyright to Client user directly as the Client user has bought the app.
I’ve contacted Apple Support multiple times through mails. They just tell me to ask the Account Holder/Admin of the organization account that now owned the app to contact them in order to receive support. Then, I've asked Software Vendor 2 to contact Apple support, but have no response from Apple support after 1 week.
My Case number is: 102708379460
This case is quite urgent for me, if anyone from the App Support team sees this post, or if any developers have experienced a similar situation and can offer advice, we would be truly grateful.
Thank you in advance for your time and support.
Problem Description
I am using CLLocationManager to obtain the device's compass heading (direction), and I have encountered an abnormal behavior:
When the user is stationary: After calling startUpdatingHeading(), the CLHeading object returned in the locationManager(_:didUpdateHeading:) callback correctly reflects the device’s actual physical orientation (i.e., the direction the top of the device is pointing) in terms of magnetic north / true north, via the magneticHeading and trueHeading properties. When I rotate the device, the heading values change accordingly — this is the expected behavior.
But when the user is in motion (e.g., driving a car): Even if I rotate the device, the values of magneticHeading and trueHeading no longer reflect the device’s actual orientation. Instead, they consistently return what appears to be the user's or vehicle's travel direction (forward direction). In other words, the compass behaves as if it is reporting the direction of motion rather than the device’s actual facing direction.
Only after the user has completely stopped moving, does rotating the device again result in magneticHeading and trueHeading reflecting the actual device orientation as expected.
However, on another device running iOS 16 (iPhone XR), this behavior does not occur — everything works normally.
Expected Behavior
I expect that regardless of whether the user is moving or not, the CLHeading values returned by CLLocationManager should always represent the physical orientation of the device itself (i.e., which direction the top of the device is pointing), as a standard compass should.
Actual Behavior
User is stationary, rotating the device: magneticHeading / trueHeading change properly according to the device’s actual orientation
User is in motion (e.g., driving):magneticHeading / trueHeading remain fixed to the direction of motion (travel direction), and do not change when the device is rotated
User stops moving, then rotates the device:Compass behaves normally again, reflecting the actual device orientation
Environment Information
iOS Version: iOS 26.0.1
Device Models: iPhone 15 Pro / iPhone 17 Pro
Xcode Version: Xcode 26.0.1
Language: Objective-C
Questions
Is this a known issue in iOS? Are there any related radars or official documentation about it?
Have other developers encountered similar issues, especially where CLHeading behaves incorrectly when the user is in motion?
Do I need to set any specific parameters in CLLocationManager (such as headingOrientation) to resolve or work around this issue?
🙏 Thank you for your help — any insights, experiences, or official feedback regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated!
If Apple truly requires this much space for the system, I honestly don’t see the point of having a 256GB device. I have no way of knowing what exactly is included in “System Data,” and I cannot modify or manage it. This is extremely frustrating and confusing for users. Can someone explain why this is necessary?

Hello Apple Developer Community,
I’m hoping someone can advise me on a serious issue. Our organization’s Apple Developer Program account has been effectively locked because our Account Holder’s Apple ID is inaccessible. We think it may have been an invalid password entered that triggered this. I need to either unlock that Apple ID or transfer the Account Holder role so we can manage our company's business apps.
I have reached out to Apple Developer Support, but they only sent the link to the reset link that I told them I already tried. The unlock page just tells me it's locked. No other recourse. Our company requires the app to operate.
We have another admin access through another Apple ID. but to transfer the Account Holder role, it can only be initiated by the current Account Holder, which is impossible at this point. If anyone has encountered a similar issue or knows a more efficient route to escalate, I’d be extremely grateful for your insights.

Hello Apple Developer Community,
I need some assistance with my account. I created a new developer account for a new project I am working on, and paid the apple developer fee. Everything was working fine for a few weeks, I was able to get my app on TestFlight and invite testers to it, as well as push updates and get feedback. The testers were family/business partners.
As of a few days ago, I was locked out of my account. I first tried resetting my password, and was then met with an email claiming my account was locked with no additional information.
I am trying to understand how I can either unlock my account, or transfer my existing app to a new account, so that I do not have to bother my users with downloading a new app. Additionally, I would like some help in understanding how I can safeguard myself from this issue in the future, especially given this would not be fun if my app were published.
Could anyone please assist me, provide me with any advice, or point me to a place where I could get support? I spent 25 minutes on the phone with apple support, and was treated excellently as I've come to expect of Apple, but unfortunately was not given any help as the support did not have additional information. I'm hoping I'm asking in the right place, and can get some help!
Thanks in advance,
Fritz
