I have been trying to enroll for the Apple developer program for almost a year now but Apple has been deliberately frustrating my efforts despite providing every requested information and ID.
I have provided every single detail and have gotten to payment/purchase twice but Apple refused to debit/process my payments on both occasions. The latest being last week. I have successful $0.00 test transactions from Apple proving that my payment card is valid on Apple. There really isn't any excuse for not allowing me to complete purchase.
After that, Apple disabled my enrollment on the web and directed me to restart on the developer mobile app which I still complied with. Yet, after uploading my ID via a link that was sent to me by a certain Jenny from Developer support (eurodev@apple) and filling in my address hoping to finally proceed to purchase, Apple has disabled my enrollment and I see the message "Your enrollment could not be completed. Your enrollment in the Apple Developer Program could not be completed at this time." The web option has also been disabled.
No message or explanation was provided.
Developer support and Apple support have refused to respond to my many mails since then.
It's almost as if they were not expecting me to meet their requirements as EVERY SINGLE STEP has been met with some sort of restriction.
I have successfully created and uploaded apps on the Google PlayStore till date using the same details without any hassles. I have no criminal records nor restrictions against my person and neither did Apple indicate anything that could prevent my enrollment so this treatment is distasteful.
I believe Apple discriminates against locations because I am African. I doubt if US or European applicants face this type of discriminatory treatment from a supposed multinational corporation.
I am not the only African complaining about this treatment too.
It is sad because Apple generates revenue from Africa but does not consider us to be relevant enough.
Shameful.

Developer Program
I think from January 2025 I'm trying to become a developer for apple. The process was an adventure.
First time I used the website to become a registered developer. All good until i wasn't able to make any inputs in a disabled required field that was required but empty.
I said ok, I'll try to use their support to guide me. After couple of mails I've understood that those answers were like: "sorry for inconvenience but try again maybe you didn't do something as expected". I've restarted the process many times and did tried, nothing worked. So... go back to email with support (note, there is no quick reply, sometimes it takes near a week or so to respond: and the response is "try again, sorry to hear that, let us know if we can help you")
After a month or so i got an email that told me to use the application to enroll. So I decided to use it. So I've canceled my active enroll and moved to the device. My iPad Pro didn't worked, so I moved to MacBook Pro and tried from there with the Developer App. Didn't work....
Go back to email support.
After a while they told me that is an issue with my card and they can't get my money from it, (is the same that I'm using on their store to buy app and it works without any issue).
After another months spent on emails (copule because of their response timing, maximum 2 reply each week) and after I said I'll do my best to find someone from their management to let them know the nightmare that I'm forced to live with the support team, they said let me call you. They called me and their tool for remote view desktop didn't worked so it was like, do this, do that, I did, I did, I tried...ok let's try one more time and don't touch anything after.
I did what they said and they told me that I'll be contacted soon. 2-3 days I waited for the call and...nothing... I did sent reply email support to understand the status of enrollment.
I got this:
"
Thanks for your message. I will be happy to provide a status update.
Your orders have not been successful. I am trying once again today.
Since it is Friday, it will take a little longer to process.
I will check on it again on Monday, when we are back in the office.
Kind regards,
"
And today is Tuesday and nothing...
I did asked also if you can't take my money just let me know the error that you receive so I'll be able to contact card issuer and ask to verify if that is an issue with it. I did asked and they told me they don't see any issue.
Now I'm stuck,,,,
Do I need to contact Tim just to open a developer account? I think he's busy with more important stuff.

Hi,
We’ve encountered a bug in the payment form and are currently unable to complete the payment for our Apple Developer Program enrollment.
When we go to https://developer.apple.com/enroll/purchase, I check the checkbox and proceed by clicking Purchase. This takes us to the next page:
https://secure6.store.apple.com/nl/shop/checkout?_s=Billing-init
On that page, we’re asked how we want to pay (the page is in Dutch), but the form gives the following issues:
Street name: Error message says I need to enter bank details (even though this is the address field).
Postal code: Error message keeps asking for the postal code, even though it’s filled in.
City: Same issue – the field is filled in, but the form shows an error.
Email and Mobile: Error message saying I need to enter bank details (unclear why).
Mobile number: It says I need to enter a mobile number, even though it’s already filled.
Because of this, I can’t proceed to check payment and finalize the €99 payment.

I'm currently facing an issue while integrating Sign in with Apple on a Firebase web app using JavaScript.
✅ What I’ve done:
Created a Service ID
Created an App ID and enabled Sign in with Apple
Linked the Service ID to the App ID under Web Authentication Configuration and also add these
Domains and sub-domains: apple-signin-test-next.firebaseapp.com
Registered return URL: https://apple-signin-test-next.firebaseapp.com/__/auth/handler
Generated a key with Sign in with Apple capability and added:
Key ID
Team ID
Private Key
Client ID (Service ID not App ID)
all in the Firebase Auth Apple Sign-In configuration
I’ve tried multiple test projects and keys, including deleting and recreating everything, but I still consistently receive this error:
invalid_client
🔎 Additional Details:
The client_id in the auth request matches the Service ID exactly
I’m not using an iOS app — this is purely web-based Sign in with Apple
I am using a valid Apple Developer account enrolled in the program
What could be the reason Apple keeps returning invalid_client even though all configuration seems correct?
Please help us to resolve the issue.
We are ready to connect for a call too.
Thanks

Hi folks,
I bought a apple developer program two weeks back. I have got the enrollment ID but it says it is still in review. Is two weeks the standard time or is there anything I have to do from my side.
Unable to add a user on my app store connect. I get "This field is invalid" error each time. I have tried with a variety of different emails, same error.

Hi, I'm a novice Account Holder and one of my teammate, who's role is already assigned as App Manager, cannot log into Certificates, IDs, & Profiles Page, nor adjust his account to Organization Account in Xcode's Apple account setting. I tried to change my personal account to a App Manager to see if this is a general setting stuff but I didn't come across problems above. I am able to not only log into the Certificates page but also change my account setting in Xcode.
Is there anything I can do in this situation, or just hand it to Developer Support ?

I don't want to throw anyone under the bus here, but I think the error handling for the D-U-N-S number verification step could be improved.
Shown on page:
The information you entered did not match your D&B profile. Before submitting your information, check your D&B profile. If you've recently changed your legal entity name, update your D&B profile.
This message is confusing when the only information provided is the company name, which exactly matches the D&B profile.
We get more information about the error in console than what is shown on the page:
"resultCode": 20010,
"resultString": "Your organizations information is not complete.",
"userString": "Your organizations information is not complete.",
"requestUrl": "https://developer.apple.com/services-enrollment/validateDunsDetails",
Displaying a clearer error message in line with this would greatly improve user understanding of what went wrong.
Hi everyone,
I'm working on integrating push notifications for Apple Wallet passes (loyalty cards) with a custom Pass Type Identifier.
I've set up the Pass Type ID and APNs certificates in the Apple Developer portal.
My backend sends push notifications via APNs with the topic set to the Pass Type ID.
APNs responses indicate success (HTTP 200), but the notifications do not appear on devices.
Device tokens are valid and properly stored.
The pass JSON includes webServiceURL and authenticationToken.
Has anyone encountered this issue or can share insights on:
Common misconfigurations that prevent push notifications from being delivered to Wallet passes?
Additional steps or configurations required in the Apple Developer account or in the pass JSON?
Ways to debug or log APNs push notifications specifically for passes?
Restrictions or limitations of Wallet pass notifications?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I have a problem with the enrollment to Apple Developer program, because the page show the message "Your enrollment in the Apple Developer Program could not be completed at this time", I have 1 week watting for any news for the Send Files to Apple Support but not yet any new news. What I can do about this case?
Hi Apple team,
I'm integrating Sign in with Apple on my website https://roomieqindia.com using a custom Node.js backend, and I'm consistently receiving this error:
invalid_client
My configuration:
✅ Service ID: com.roomieq.auth
✅ Team ID: 75XVX5RXMQ
✅ Key ID: (from Apple-generated .p8 key)
✅ Private Key: (.p8 key pasted correctly in backend)
✅ App ID Selected: com.roomieq.roomieq
✅ Domain Added: roomieqindia.com
✅ Return URL: https://roomieqindia.com
✅ Clicked Done → Continue → Save after configuration
Behavior:
When I open this URL directly in browser:
https://appleid.apple.com/auth/authorize?client_id=com.roomieq.auth&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Froomieqindia.com&response_type=code%20id_token&scope=name%20email&response_mode=web_message&frame_id=ef13a755-75bb-4eef-8dd6-73bd75d6ede5&m=11&v=1.5.5
I get invalid_client.
My backend uses apple-signin-auth Node.js package to:
Generate the client secret (JWT)
Exchange auth code for tokens
Verify ID token
Everything fails at step 1 because Apple doesn’t seem to recognize my Service ID as valid.
What I Need:
Can you please verify if:
My Service ID ( com.roomieq.auth ) is fully active and recognized
My App ID and Service ID are properly linked on Apple’s end
There are any hidden issues with domain or return URL setup
Let me know if I need to reset the Service ID or regenerate anything.
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and paid with credit card.
I received the Order Acknowledgement email but it´s been a week already.
Can someone please help getting my membership confirmed?
Thank you.
We are using apple pay on the Web. But we are getting this error as below while creating the session from our API -
{"error": "Failed to create Apple Pay session: 400 Bad Request: [{
"statusMessage": "Payment Services Exception merchantId=2BA8AF828D93E74EC76655D09C9132B7445BA789D674E970873CCCD85E5A8A5E not registered for domain=https://applepay-dev.ippay.com",
"statusCode": "400"
}]"}
====================================================
Please use the following Curl request to generate the error.
curl --location 'https://applepay-dev.ippay.com/api/v2/payment/alternatepay/session/create'
--header 'Content-Type: application/json'
--header 'Accept: /'
--header 'Sec-Fetch-Site: same-origin'
--header 'Accept-Language: en-US,en;q=0.9'
--header 'Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate, br'
--header 'Sec-Fetch-Mode: cors'
--header 'Host: applepay-dev.ippay.com'
--header 'Origin: https://applepay-dev.ippay.com'
--header 'User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/605.1.15 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/18.5 Safari/605.1.15'
--header 'Referer: https://applepay-dev.ippay.com/payment/payment.html'
--header 'Content-Length: 84'
--header 'Connection: keep-alive'
--header 'Sec-Fetch-Dest: empty'
--data '{"validationUrl":"https://apple-pay-gateway.apple.com/paymentservices/startSession"}'
Configuration steps we followed -
A. Created Merchant ID
B. Created payment processing and Merchant Identity certificate
C. Did domain association mapping for the merchant
C. Created domain name and TLS SSL for the server from where we are calling the API
Please advise.

Hi all. I don't know where else to go in order to find a way to communicate with Apple or reach help.
I have enrolled to the Apple Developer Product, no money charged in my account by I have received confirmation of Apple Acknowledgement that I have made an order.
Specifically 2 weeks now I try to contact someone from Apple side but with no luck. Recently I received the following and I had a small conversation from them.
If you have additional questions related to this request, please > reference case number 20000089031868.
Ge***le -> this is the name of the support agent
Did I do something wrong from my side? Does anyone has the same issue?
Developer Tools & ServicesHello,
I’m trying to enroll in the Apple Developer Program as an individual, but I’ve run into repeated issues and haven’t received any response or confirmation.
Here’s what I’ve tried:
I created a new Apple ID with my real name (first and last name).
Enabled two-factor authentication.
Verified that my billing and shipping addresses are complete.
Tried enrolling both from the web and from the Apple Developer app on an iPhone.
Used multiple valid credit and debit cards (Visa and Mastercard).
Waited over 48 hours for confirmation or email—still nothing.
No charges appear on my bank account either.
I submitted a support request via the official Developer Support page but haven’t received any reply.
I’m located in TUNISIA, and my Apple ID region matches my billing info and card.
At this point, I’m unsure what’s going wrong or if my enrollment is blocked. Has anyone else faced this issue? Any advice on how to proceed or get a response from Apple?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards

Years ago, I created a business account within the Apple Developer Program. The business has since been dissolved. How can I return to an individual account to publish new applications?
Sticking with the old organization seems problematic due to tax info, etc. being invalid.
Apple Support told me that I'd need to create a new Apple ID account but this seems equally troublesome. I'm sure I'm not the first face this situation.

Hello,
We are developing an MDM solution.
In addition to the cloud-based version, we are also developing an on-premises version of the MDM solution for organizations such as government agencies and other entities for whom using public cloud services is difficult.
In such cases, regarding the "MDM vendor CSR certificate" to be included in the on-premises package:
Would it be acceptable to use a certificate owned by our company (the MDM vendor)?
Or would it be necessary for the client organization to prepare a new certificate themselves?
