Sign In with Apple Integration Issue - "Sign-Up not completed" Error
I'm experiencing an issue with Sign In with Apple integration in my React Native Expo app (Bundle ID: com.anonymous.TuZjemyApp). Problem Description: When users attempt to sign in using Sign In with Apple, they successfully complete Face ID/password authentication, but then receive a Sign-Up not completed error message. The authentication flow appears to stop at this point and doesn't return the identity token to my app. Technical Details: Frontend Implementation: Using expo-apple-authentication. Requesting scopes: FULL_NAME and EMAIL App is properly configured in app.json with: usesAppleSignIn: true Entitlement: com.apple.developer.applesignin Backend Implementation: Endpoint: POST /api/auth/apple Using apple-signin-auth package for token verification Verifying tokens with audience: com.anonymous.TuZjemyApp Backend creates/updates user accounts based on Apple ID Question: I'm not sure why the authentication flow stops with Sign-Up not completed after succ

Apple Watch can't always reconnect
Using Xcode to build and deploy the app to my watch, this is what I get: “Waiting to reconnect to Apple Watch. Previous preparation error: Transport error. And then “Connecting to Apple Watch. Xcode will continue when the operation completes.” And these messages continue to switch between each other. Sometimes the watch to connect and the application starts, but more often a scenario occurs with endless reconnection. I'm using: MacOS 14.4.1 (MacBook Pro 2019; 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5), Xcode 15.3, Watch OS 10.2 (Apple Watch SE 1), iOS 17.1.1 (iPhone 15 Pro). Methods I tried: Connecting Macbook, iPhone and Watch to the same WIfi network; Disabling Watch (and IPhone) from the Devices and Simulators menu and setting up Watch (and IPhone) from the beginning. Any help?

Apple Pay integration in our app
Hi, We have app in which we take donations from people and send to non-profit organisations. I have read that Apple Pay can be integrated on non profit platforms to take donations, but we are middle man, we are not non profit .. we take donations, cut our platform fees and then sent to donations to non profit orgs. My question is can we integrate Apple Pay in our iOS app to take donations from apple? as we have integrated Apple Pay on the web.

Unable to use Bluetooth in watchOS companion app if iOS uses AccessorySetupKit
FB18383742 Setup 🛠️ Xcode 16.4 (16F6) 📱 iPhone 13 mini (iOS 18.0.1) ⌚️ Apple Watch Series 10 (watchOS 11.3.1) Observations As AccessorySetupKit does not request Core Bluetooth permissions, when a watchOS companion app is installed after having installed the iOS app, the toggle in the watch settings for Privacy & Security > Bluetooth is turned off and disabled After removing the iPhone associated with the Apple Watch, Bluetooth works as expected in the watchOS app Upon reinstalling the iOS app, there's a toggle for Bluetooth in the iOS ASK app's settings and the ASK picker cannot be presented 🤨 From ASK Documentation: AccessorySetupKit is available for iOS and iPadOS. The accessory’s Bluetooth permission doesn’t sync to a companion watchOS app. But this doesn't address not being able to use Core Bluetooth in a watch companion app at all 🥲 Reproducing the bug Install the iOS + watchOS apps Launch iOS app, tap start scan, observe devices can be discovered (project is set up to find h

Incompatibility with Android devices and Wifi Aware standard
There is no available API that allows you to connect to Android. The current APIs that are provided are not compatible outside of the Apple Ecosystem. For example, Android requires you to set a service name and a password where iOS sets a service and a PIN authentication strategy in a specific format that’s not compatible. It looks like the implementation is not following the Wifi Aware Specifications. To enable cross platform interoperability while providing security, could you adopt the same strategy as with Bluetooth and enable iOS users to enable the sharing and subscription of services with Everyone.

Fatal safeAreaInsets Error on Certain iOS/iPadOS 26 Devices
Fatal safeAreaInsets Error on Certain iOS/iPadOS 26 Devices On certain devices that have updated to iOS/iPadOS 26, the safeAreaInsets value is displayed incorrectly when rotating. On the iPhone SE3, the safeAreaInsets.top value is displayed inverted when rotating. It should return 20.0 when rotated vertically and 0.0 when rotated horizontally. Currently, the value is reversed. (0.0 when rotated horizontally and 20.0 when rotated vertically.) On iPad Pro devices, the safeAreaInsets.top value is always returned as 0.0 when the app is first launched. (This issue is believed to occur on all iPad devices, including the iPad Pro.) If the user subsequently rotates the iPad, the safeAreaInsets value is returned correctly. On the iPhone 17 with dynamic islands, the safeAreaInsets value is displayed correctly. My guess is that all devices running iOS/iPadOS 26 without dynamic islands will experience an issue where the safeAreaInsets value is displayed incorrectly. This issue occurs when building with Xcode 26. Apple

Does Foundation Models ever do off-device computation?
I want to use Foundation Models in a project, but I know my users will want to avoid environmentally intensive AI work in data centers. Does Foundation Models ever use Private Compute Cloud or any other kind of cloud-based AI system? I'd like to be able to assure my users that the LLM usage is relatively environmentally friendly. It would be great to be able to cite a specific Apple page explaining that Foundation Models work is always done locally. If there's any chance that work can be done in the cloud, is there a way to opt out of that?

My Vision for AI and Algorithmically Optimised Operating Systems
Bear with me, please. Please make sure a highly skilled technical person reads and understands this. I want to describe my vision for (AI/Algorithmically) Optimised Operating Systems. To explain it properly, I will describe the process to build it (pseudo). Required Knowledge (no particular order): Processor Logic Circuits, LLM models, LLM tool usage, Python OO coding, Procedural vs OO, NLP fuzzy matching, benchmarking, canvas/artefacts/dynamic HTML interfaces, concepts of how AI models are vastly compressed and miniaturised forms of full data, Algorithmic vs AI. First, take all OO Python code (example) on GitHub (example), then separate each function from each object into its own procedure (procedural logic) by making a logical procedural list of actions to perform only that function based on its entire dependency chain (i.e. all other objects it relies on). Relate all compiled functions using (for example) fuzzy matching on the name, or AI-based functional profiling to get multiple instances of each functio

Problems recording audio on Tahoe 26.0 (Intel only)
I have some tried-and-tested code that records and plays back audio via AUHAL which breaks on Tahoe on Intel. The same code works fine on Sequioa and also works on Tahoe on Apple Silicon. To start with something simple, the following code to request access to the Microphone doesn't work as it should: bool RequestMicrophoneAccess () { __block AVAuthorizationStatus status = [AVCaptureDevice authorizationStatusForMediaType: AVMediaTypeAudio]; if (status == AVAuthorizationStatusAuthorized) return true; __block bool done = false; [AVCaptureDevice requestAccessForMediaType: AVMediaTypeAudio completionHandler: ^ (BOOL granted) { status = (granted) ? AVAuthorizationStatusAuthorized : AVAuthorizationStatusDenied; done = true; }]; while (!done) CFRunLoopRunInMode (kCFRunLoopDefaultMode, 2.0, true); return status == AVAuthorizationStatusAuthorized; } On Tahoe on Intel, the code runs to completion but granted is always returned as NO. Tellingly, the popup to ask the user to grant microphone access is never displ
