Reply to Why doesn’t Transaction.updates emit reliably?
My app is a Mac app that uses the AppKit framework. It is not a SwiftUI app, nor is it an iOS app. It uses SwiftUI for some views. The sample project code is similar to my code snippet but is built using the SwiftUI design pattern. I want Transaction.updates and Product.SubscriptionInfo.Status.updates to work, but they are not detecting the changes I make when I make purchases, nor are they detecting purchases when using the Xcode Transaction Manager. Also, I use subscriptionStatusTask(for:priority:action:) modifier where I use ProductView and it doesn't work. It is supposed to react in real time. It works if I reload the view by switching to another view and then back. I believe it is less to do with the code and is something else. Maybe the Xcode project file settings is messed up or I am missing something. I tried restarting the Mac and clearing the derived data. Likewise, as I mentioned, it works perfectly in a fresh Xcode project with a minimal setup, but it doesn’t work in my project.

Reply to App Review cannot complete auto-renewable subscription purchase (Guideline 2.1) although sandbox & TestFlight work
App Review states they are unable to buy the in-app purchase Have you asked what they mean by 'unable to make a subscription purchase'? It could mean that the purchase sheet doesn't appear they don't see a button leading to the purchase sheet they don't see a list of products they tap something that is not even a button or something without a tap gesture I would make sure that I were on the same turf as theirs.

BLE Scanning
iOS BLE Background Scanning Stops After Few Minutes to Hours Hi everyone, I'm developing a Flutter app using flutter_blue_plus that needs continuous BLE scanning in both foreground and background. Foreground scanning works perfectly, but background scanning stops after a few minutes (sometimes 1-2 hours). Current Implementation (iOS) Foreground Mode: Scans for 10 seconds with all target service UUIDs Batches and submits results every 10 seconds Works reliably ✅ Background Mode: Rotates through service UUIDs in batches of 7 Uses 1-minute batch intervals Maintains active location streaming (Geolocator.getPositionStream) Switches modes via AppLifecycleState observer // Background scanning setup await FlutterBluePlus.startScan( withServices: serviceUuids, // Batch of 7 UUIDs continuousUpdates: true, ); // Location streaming (attempt to keep app alive) LocationSettings( accuracy: LocationAccuracy.bestForNavigation, distanceFilter: 0, ); Lifecycle Management: AppLifecycleState.paused -> Start background mode App

How can I set up a B2B subscription with ABM + MDM + Paywall
I am looking for guidance on how people have solved this problem/use case. What is the best way to structure a seat based subscription app that an organization can pay for seats for all their users, can be distributed via mdm or via app store and is easy (low friction) to get paid for and started for small companies? I market to a business to buy my app, they want it installed on all 25 devices they have. They use ABM to acquire 25 licenses with and MDM to distribute. The app is currently free to download so ABM charges $0 but has a paywall to use. The paywall is a RevenueCat one and no user account is needed. All entitlements and free trial work great. When it is deployed to the 25 devices, they can either sign up with their own AppleId and own/company credit card, or use a company appleid and company card for all 25 devices to solve the issue but neither are great. Doubtful they would want to pay their money for a company required app on a company phone (don’t blame them). If they share an appleid, my MRR d

Reply to IAP Purchase Fails During App Review – Circular Dependency Between App Approval and IAP Approval
Hello - In reviewing your account, it appears that the required Paid Apps Agreement is not yet in the Active state. Because of this, your In-App Purchase product is not available for testing in Sandbox. Please direct the Account Holder to accept the Paid Apps Agreement, complete both the Banking and Tax information, and ensure the status of this agreement is updated to ACTIVE. We also recommend completing a successful Sandbox purchase in your app before you resubmit for App Review. Please let us know if you have any additional questions or need further assistance. Thank you.

IAP Purchase Fails During App Review – Circular Dependency Between App Approval and IAP Approval
Hello everyone, I’m facing an issue with In-App Purchases during App Review and would appreciate guidance from anyone who has encountered a similar situation. Context: New iOS/iPadOS app, first submission. One Non-Consumable In-App Purchase. IAP was created, fully configured, and submitted together with the app version. IAP status in App Store Connect: In Review. App includes Restore Purchase and uses standard StoreKit purchase flow. Paid Apps Agreement is accepted. Problem: During Apple’s review, when the reviewer taps the purchase button, a generic error appears: “Purchase failed. An error occurred, please try again.” Apple rejected the app under Guideline 2.1 – Performance – App Completeness, stating that the IAP shows a bug. What seems to be happening: The IAP itself is still in review and therefore not fully active, which causes the purchase attempt to fail. However, the app cannot be approved because the purchase fails, creating a c

StoreKit Sandbox – Unfinished Consumable Transaction Across Devices
I’d like to confirm the expected behavior of StoreKit 2 in the Sandbox environment regarding unfinished consumable transactions across devices. Scenario: Device A and Device B are signed in with the same Sandbox Apple ID A consumable in-app purchase is completed on Device A The transaction may be verified or unverified, but transaction.finish() is not called The app is then launched on Device B and listens for Transaction.updates Question: In this scenario, is it expected that Device B will or will not receive a callback for this unfinished consumable transaction? Or is it by design that unfinished consumable transactions are not guaranteed to be delivered across devices, regardless of verification state?

Apple Developer Program payment completed but membership not activated
Hello everyone, I’m looking for some guidance to see if anyone has experienced a similar issue with the Apple Developer Program membership. About one week ago, I completed the payment for the membership. I received an email with the subject: We’re processing your order Wxxxxxxxxxx That email included the order details and cost, and shortly after that, I also received the CFDI invoice for the payment, so the charge appears to have been completed successfully. However, up to now: I have not received any membership confirmation email The membership does not appear under Subscriptions in my Apple ID It is not active in the Apple Developer app On the Apple Developer website, I still see the usual message as if the membership was not purchased: “Purchase your membership to continue your enrollment. Buy today” I understand Apple mentions that the purchase may take up to 48 hours to process, but it has now been more than a week with no changes. Has anyone else encountered this situation? Is

Reply to App Review Rejection – Guideline 2.1: “Create PIN” Not Responsive on iPad (iPhone-Only App)
Clarification on “not responsive” Since all buttons respond correctly during our testing, I’d appreciate clarification on what App Review typically means by “not responsive” in this context: It could mean that they are tapping something that is even a button. I had a case about 6 months ago where they claimed that nothing happened when he or she tried to make a subscription purchase. This 'something' was not even a button or anything with the tap gesture. If I remember correctly, the same reviewer claimed that the user was not able to post a support request at our website when in fact it was just the matter of scrolling down a little further to find a text box and a button.

Help with visionOS pushWindow issues requested
I first started using the SwiftUI pushWindow API in visionOS 26.2, and I've reported several bugs I discovered, listed below. Under certain circumstances, pushed window relationships may break, and this behavior affects all other apps, not just the app that caused the problem, until the next device reboot. In other cases, the system may crash and restart. (FB21287011) When a window presented with pushWindow is dismissed, its parent window reappears in the wrong location (FB21294645) Pinning a pushed window to a wall breaks pushWindow for all other apps on the system (FB21594646) pushWindow interacts poorly with the window bar close app option (FB21652261) If a window locked to a wall calls pushWindow, the original window becomes unlocked (FB21652271) If a window locked in place calls pushWindow and the pushed window is closed, the system freezes (FB21828413) pushWindow, UIApplication.open, and a dismissed immersive space result in multiple failures that require a device reboot (FB21840747) visionOS randomly f

App Review cannot complete auto-renewable subscription purchase (Guideline 2.1) although sandbox & TestFlight work
Hello, I’m experiencing repeated rejections related to Guideline 2.1 – App Completeness for an iOS app using auto-renewable subscriptions, and I’m struggling to understand what is missing, as the purchase flow works correctly in sandbox and TestFlight. App setup: iOS app built with React Native (Expo + react-native-iap) Auto-renewable subscriptions: • Monthly: €4.99 • Yearly: €39.99 Paid Apps Agreement accepted Subscriptions configured and active in App Store Connect Privacy Policy and Apple Standard EULA included: • Visible inside the app on the subscription screen • Added in App Store metadata What App Review reports: App Review states they are unable to buy the in-app purchase, resulting in a rejection under Guideline 2.1 (App Completeness). What works correctly: getSubscriptions() returns valid products in sandbox Subscription titles, prices, and durations are displayed in the app UI requestSubscription() is triggered when tapping the subscribe button Apple purchase sheet appear
