I origionally had Exchange working, but then messages stopped arriving. So I delete Exchange and attempted to create a new Exchange connection (which worked prior). But, I could not get past the configuration page.Anyone else experiencing this?jc

Poor battery use and slow performance is normal for early betas which have not been optimized. Also, as someone recommended, it is usually a good idea to do a clean install and not fool around with device restoration unless you are specifically testing that aspect of the beta release to avoid issues that can be introduced by bugs in the restoration process.

Sounds like something you should file as an enhancement request if you want this to change in future betas or the final release. The people who would make that change may not be reading this thread.

I've been dumping the communication on my iPhone with tcpdump and interestingly when on the homescreen and doing nothing it does not communicate anything but the spinning wheel besides the operator logo starts as soon as I go to the homescreen (only at certain times in the day, from time to time it stops). During that it does not connect anywhere which I first thought. Disable mobile data and Wi-Fi and it stops completely. No more background process going on without an Internet connection. So it does something in a background process when connected to the Internet even though it does not transmit something. And during that background process my phone runs hot. Disabling mobile data and it cools down and stops with the battery bleeding. Just something I've noticed so far.. So now I use my phone disabling mobile data and Wi-Fi and when needed I enable mobile data to check mail etc. Just to see and monitor what happens.

I'm going to transfer an app to another account.Developer guide says:Associated client SSL certificates for push notifications aren’t transferred. If the app uses Apple Push Notifications service (APNs), the recipient needs to create a client SSL certificate using Member Center to reenable it.https://developer.apple.com/library/prerelease/ios/documentation/LanguagesUtilities/Conceptual/iTunesConnect_Guide/Chapters/TransferringAndDeletingApps.htmlDoes it meens I have to update an app and existing users have to update app to use push notifications?I think it's not so because the client SSL cetfication needed to send request to APNs. So only I have to create a new certification and install it to my server to connect to APNs. Is that right? And I want to know if app transfer changes the Bundle ID.I think if the Bundle ID changed and end users updated an app, push notifications will become to not work.I hope you will be able to provide the information.
Mine are slow too, but in the range of a minute or so. I find that removing the watch app first, before updating from XCode, seems to speed up the process.

Hi there,I'm seeing an assertion failure in the iPhone Captive Network WebSheet when a Wi-Fi network is set up with an automatic Proxy PAC URL.The result is that the web sheet doesn't even make a request to the identified captive network redirect page (we can see this from the server side) and shows a blank screen to the user, followed eventually by an alert saying Error Opening Page / Hotspot login could not open the page because the server stopped responding. We also see no request to the Proxy PAC URL during this process.I've enclosed the relevant logs below and also raised this as rdar://21356077 (and https://openradar.appspot.com/21356077 )Anyone have any clues? Thanks!AdamThe assertion failure appears in the iPhone logs as follows (assertion failure on line #12)Jun 12 11:58:49 iPhone configd[32] <Notice>: Captive: [CNInfoNetworkActive:1744] en0: SSID 'tc-te-24' not making interface primary (no cache entry) Jun 12 11:58:49 iPhone configd[32] <Notice>: Captive: CNPluginHandler
Hello,I am currently working on a application, consuming the Apple MDM Api.In order to be able to use this API, I need to authorize using data from a decrypted server token (found in the corresponding server on https://deploy.apple.com).So far this is all good.Steps we managed to do so far:1. Create Public/Private key2. Added our server to https://deploy.apple.com in combination with our public key.3. Generated and downloaded the token that gets automatically generated.4. Decrypted that token using the private key (for the correct information in order to consume the API)Steps that need to be done:1. Install the Generated token on the Apple Server's DEP (Local Apple Server)The Problem:When we go to the Local Apple Server's DEP and try to enable the DEP, an already existing public key is already installed there.Since we used a different Public/Private key to generate the token, our Local Apple Server's DEP tells us that the Token is invalid. We are kind of stuck here. How do we upload the token generated by our o
I believe that at one time, it was mentioned that when Swift would reach 2.0 (or later?), its standard library would no longer be included in the app bundle as the Swift language would have stabilized enough to have a system-wide version available. In Xcode 7 beta 1 though, the libSwiftCore etc are still built into the app bundle. Now I was wondering when we can expect the Swift standard library to not be included any longer in the app bundle. Is there any time table available? And concerning App Thinning, might this process be smart enough to strip the Swift libraries from the binary sent to the device at install time?
Hi guys,I need to generate an RSA public key from a modulus and exponent and I'm unable to find any resources where someone has done this successfully. I can't even find a way to do it in Apples documentation. I have heard using SecKeyRef and/or OpenSSL is the way to go but searches on both of those lead to nothing that has worked (and what I tried is far too extensive to list here). Is this something not possible in iOS? If anyone has any ideas how to accomplish this I would greatly appreciate hearing them. Thank you.
That, what you just said:- Why does a post with a URL in it get stuck in waiting for moderator for days and days at a time?- The filtering and automatic-moderation delays appear to be adaptive, and appear to be premised on This is a newly created account, if it does something suspicious like embed URLS, use words in the swear-filter, or similar things, make the moderators look at the post before allowing it through.should be clearly announced and explained somewhere. I've been unable to ask some questions (stuck in Drafts waiting forever for moderation) and assumed that it was a bug, unitl perhaps now then, if what you say is true. Anyhow, it's very frustrating, and I still have such stuck questions in my Drafts even though I'm at Level 2 (30).

It appears that location processing may have some issues in iOS9 B1. Location updates start correctly, but continue very rapicly even after stopUpdatingLocation has been called. It seems to ignore that call somehow.Anyone else seeing this?
Yes. I am having the same problem. My old exchange account would not work so I removed so I could add it back in. Now when I try to add it in I get Unable to verify account name or password.
