smb big sur

Since upgrading to Big Sur, I can no longer tether my camera to my MBP. Anybody else having this issue?

Running latest Big Sur Beta, 20A5395g, and noticed high cpu usage from SceneKitQLTemplateExtension. I saw some Catalina advice here to just kill it, but it eventually restarts. I thought perhaps it just needs to accomplish something lengthy and let it run all night, but it was still running in the morning. Anything I can try to address this?

iMac 2019 Big Sur cannot even connect to my etherne, Noway to connect to ( S.O.S )

I can no longer connect to private shares (username/password required) on my remote NAS drive through Finder. Public shares (Guest access) are still accessible, but not private. TimeMachine still works as well. Machines running Mojave or earlier can still access private shares on the NAS, but not machines running Catalina.Suspicion is Apple has dropped support for SMB 1 and SMB 2 on Catalina, forcing remote NAS devices to use SMB 3 without any alternative.Can this be confirmed????Thanks,Charles

how do I mount external usb drives on Big Sur. They worked perfectly on Catalina

Big Sur on my Mac Mini will not boot back up. Started after a normal reboot. It was up-to-date based on the updater. The boot sequence takes me to a screen that says it needs internet to validate the disk. I select and authenticate to my wi-fi, click try-again, same issue. I've also tried with ethernet. The boot sequence just keep cycling. Unfortunately I did not create a boot disk with the Big Sur image. Any tips would be appreciated!

Hi, I have a MacBook Air from 2013 and recently installed Big Sur (before that I hade Sierra). In the finals steps of the installment I got an error message but somehow could finish the installment. However, after that, Safari will not launch anymore at all and also, ALL built in system apps are now double (the Sierra one plus the Big Sur one). How can I fix that problem / delete the doubles? I have an MacBook Pro 15 2018 and I can't install the beta 4 version of Big Sur no matter what I do installing in safe mode , reset NVRAM, SMC reset, Single user mode, setting the time, try out another user, recovery mode, try deleted and download a new one and bootable drive. My Mac still won't install the beta version of Big Sur.
