App store capability request
I requested the Family Controls (distribution) capability but am not sure if I did it correct. I applied, answered the questions why i needed it and submitted. Its been about 2 weeks since applying. In the app configurations, it on apple dev site, it shows in the request history that I submitted it on March 17, but I can click the request (+) button and request it again. Just want to make sure I didn't mess anything up--it seems like they would prevent me from sendin another request if I had already requested it. It hasn't taken them this long to get back to me in the past which is why I am confused. If anyone knows how to speed up the process, please let me know! Thanks.

App data file not being read in TestFlight
An app I'm developing uses a text data file to access some words. The app runs fine in all simulators and when directly hard-wired from my Mac to my iPhone. When I download it to App Store Connect and run the app in TestFlight the app runs fine except when it tries to access the data file. The error it gives me is that it can't access the same data that I access when running the app in the simulators.

TestFlight shows “could not install”.
Hello, My app (App ID: 1616628950) is already published on the App Store, but recently we’ve been unable to install the TestFlight build for testing. The TestFlight build shows the green “Testing” status, but whenever we try to install it, we get this message: “Could not install / The requested application is not available or does not exist.” The TestFlight version is the same as the one currently live on the App Store, and the App Store version installs without any issue. I wanted to share this here in case someone from the team could check whether the TestFlight build might be stuck or misconfigured on the backend. Thank you very much for your time and help!

Limit availability of app in TestFlight to specific countries
In App Store Connect I can select in which countries the App should be available (Pricing and Availability). Is this also possible at TestFlight? There is a reason why I want to limit the availability to some selected countries. But I also want to make my App available for testing to unknown people (via public link) but only in the same countries. Is that possible? Is the country selection under App Store also used for TestFlight?

International In-app-purchase issue with TestFlight build
My app's in-app purchase works perfectly (i) locally (ii) in TestFlight internal testing (iii) in TestFlight external testing in the US. Where's the issue? Well I have one beta tester (TestFlight external tester) in the Philippines. She is unable to purchase. Her Apple ID region and device region are set to Philippines. My IAP has all regions and territories enabled and I can see the Philippine Peso pricing on App Store Connect. She keeps seeing the price in USD rather than PHP, which, based on my searching around, seems to be common in TestFlight. But, she also keeps getting an error Account Not In This Store - Your account is not valid for use in the US Store. You must switch to the Philippine store before purchasing. Clicking on Change Store doesn't help. From searching, it seems despite seeing the price in $ she ought to be able to complete the fake purchase. Is this expected in TestFlight? I am apprehensive before s

How to use Testflight App parallel to Appstore Version
We are using testflight to test our app. Meanwhile we already have the app running in a production version in the appstore. How can I install the prod version from the appstore and also the test version from testflight on one device? We need both versions one for testing new features and the production one for using the app for ourselves. Thanks a lot for the help!

Reply to Cloud not install [App] The requested app is not available or doesn't exist. In TestFlight
I have the same bug as well. I submitted the first build of my app to TestFlight (it's not been put onto the store yet) just yesterday. The next day when I had time to install and test it I saw that the build had become expired. I uploaded another build, which appears to have been accepted without issue, created an internal testing group, found it on TestFlight, and then The requested app is not available or doesn't exist. What????

In-app purchase submission necessary for Testflight test ?
Hello,I was used to test my app with Testflight internal or external and everything worked fine.I have recently uploaded a new app, put it in beta testflight and when I try to test the in-app, nothing happens.Seeking in the itunes connect in app category, I've discovered a new message, which was not here before :Your first in-app purchase must be submitted with a new version of the app. Select it in the section in app purchase of the app and click on submit. When your binary is uploaded and your first in app purchase submitted for review, you will be able to add new in app purchases. So the question is, if the app has never been submitted, do we have to submit a first version which won't be released to be able to test the in app purchase on testflight ? (if yes, it's a little bit weird... if no, there is a problem on our side)Thanks a lot for your help

Could not install [app name]. The app is currently downloadingWe've tried:Restarting the phoneResetting all settings on the phone (factory defaults)Upload a new build to TestFlight.trying to install a new testflight version downloading it through our company WiFi. We noticed that we could still download and install the app from mobile devices through LTE which lead us to the conclusion that for whatever reason testflight must have blocked our office IP (temporarily) for unknown reason.Anybody have this bug??

Requesting ratings for applications
I would appreciate it if you could add the ability to request the total number of ratings. As well as the ability to request their number by type 1,2,3,4 and 5 and by country. That would be incredibly helpful, thank you!

Reply to Validating apps for TestFlight distribution with macOS 15.1
The TestFlight release notes are a good resource to consult when figuring out what OS versions TestFlight is accepting tests for, and macOS 15.1 beta isn't currently listed on that page. —Ed Ford,  DTS Engineer

Testflight apps on VPN and MDM devices
What configuration on the mobile app, if any, is required so that we can distribute it over Testflight but also have it testable over devices that are connected to backends that are available only over VPN and on MDM devices. This is to perform feature testing before the build is tested on production environment and finally goes out to customers
