TestFlight In-App Purchase (Consumable) gets stuck when using real Apple ID – cannot repurchase even after finishTransaction
**Environment Platform:** iOS Distribution: TestFlight Product type: Consumable In-App Purchase Account used for testing: Real Apple ID (not Sandbox) StoreKit: StoreKit 1 iOS version: iOS 17+ (also reproduced on earlier versions) Issue Description We are encountering an issue when testing consumable in-app purchases in a TestFlight build using a real Apple ID. Under normal circumstances, consumable products should be purchasable repeatedly. However, in TestFlight, after a successful purchase flow, the same product may become unavailable for repurchase, and the transaction appears to be stuck, even though: • finishTransaction: is correctly called • The transaction state is .purchased • No pending transactions are left in the payment queue Once this happens, subsequent purchase attempts result in behavior similar to a non-consumable product (e.g. “already purchased” or no purchase UI shown).

Reply to App Review Rejection – Guideline 2.1: “Create PIN” Not Responsive on iPad (iPhone-Only App)
Clarification on “not responsive” Since all buttons respond correctly during our testing, I’d appreciate clarification on what App Review typically means by “not responsive” in this context: It could mean that they are tapping something that is even a button. I had a case about 6 months ago where they claimed that nothing happened when he or she tried to make a subscription purchase. This 'something' was not even a button or anything with the tap gesture. If I remember correctly, the same reviewer claimed that the user was not able to post a support request at our website when in fact it was just the matter of scrolling down a little further to find a text box and a button.

App Review repeatedly failing due to In-App Purchase paywall error (Guideline 2.1) — despite sandbox testing
I’ve previously shipped apps to the App Store, but I’m encountering an In-App Purchase issue on this submission. During App Review, tapping Continue on the paywall shows: “Plans not available, try again later.” This leads to a rejection under Guideline 2.1 – App Completeness. I’ve confirmed: Paid Apps Agreement is active Subscription plans are Ready to Submit StoreKit returns products during sandbox testing Purchases work correctly with fresh sandbox users Is there any way to reproduce or validate the App Review sandbox environment without repeatedly resubmitting? Are there known reasons this error appears in review but not during local sandbox testing? Thanks.

How to apply for Reader App / External Link Account Entitlement?
Hello, I’m developing an educational iOS app called “Lipi – Punjabi Kids Learning” that delivers pre-created educational content using a subscription model, similar to how Netflix or Kindle deliver content. Users subscribe on our website, and the iOS app provides access to that subscribed content only. No digital content or subscriptions are purchased inside the iOS app. I’m trying to apply for the Reader App / External Link Account Entitlement, but I’m unable to find a dedicated application form. The previously referenced URL (developer.apple.com/contact/request/reader-app/) no longer works. Could someone from Apple or the community please confirm the current and correct process to request this entitlement? App details: App Name: Lipi – Punjabi Kids Learning Bundle ID: com.app.meriLipi Category: Education Content: Video lessons, live classes, quizzes, and writing exercises Website: https://merilipi.com Pricing: https://merilipi.com/pricing I’ve already contacted Apple Developer Support and App Revie

Enrollment pending since Jan 17 even after submitting additional documents
I applied to the Apple Developer Program on Jan 17 and my enrollment showed pending for several days. I eventually contacted support on the 27th and they told me they needed additional documentation and sent me a link to upload and asked me to email them once I've done so, so that they can get it reviewed quickly. On Jan 27, I uploaded the documents they requested and sent the email confirming they've been uploaded as was requested. After several days, it still says pending. I spoke with support today and they said they have the documents and there's nothing for me to do other than wait for them to be reviewed and this could take months. I'm in the process of purchasing a business and need this account so that they can transfer me the mobile app. My due diligence period is ending within a few days and need clarity on this approval asap. Has anyone else experienced these types of delays or know how to get the review completed? Enrollment ID: 7P992248Q5 Case ID: 102811401305

Apple Developer Account not activated 5 days after purchase
Hey everyone, I purchased an Apple Developer Program for 99 USD on January 1 2024, filled out my credit card that I use for iCloud+ storage plan, got my confirmation email that within 48h my developer account should be activated, but it never did. Plus after waiting more than 48h I wrote to support, describing everything, but never heard back from them. One thing I noticed during the checkout was I was asked for everything (name, address, CC number, expiry date) but not the CVV number. Is this normal, and would Apple be able to process the payment without it? I though about going through the enrolment process again, but am afraid of a double charge, in case my original enrolment gets accepted... Please advise and share your experiences when enrolling to the developer program. Thanks!

Reply to Virtual Machine UDID Changes in macOS 15: Looking for Guidance on Development Workflow
I believe the behavior we're seeing is explained in the documentation …
That’s my interpretation as well, but I’m still not 100% certain that it matches the behaviour that ArthurValiev is reporting up thread. I have a reminder to spend some more time digging into this, but I haven’t yet had a chance.
as it's currently the only practical method I'm aware of for preserving UDIDs.
It’s certainly a useful option, yes. Another option is to start with a template VM, then clone it twice [1] for each ‘runner’ Mac, start each one, and then stop it cleanly. Each one should pick up a new provisioning UDID during its startup sequence and you can then assign that provisioning UDID to your account. This is quite fiddly to manage, and it won’t work for organisations that have a large number of runners, but it’s an option worth ex

Do Vendor Listing Plans With Feature Limits Require In-App Purchase?
Hello, I’m seeking clarification on In-App Purchase requirements for a marketplace vendor app offering real-world, offline services. We plan to offer paid vendor listing plans (Free, Silver, Gold, etc.) that provide business benefits such as increased visibility, analytics, and also include feature limits like the number of images a vendor can upload to their business profile and enhanced dashboard views. These plans are intended to support vendors’ real-world businesses and do not provide digital content to consumers. Does gating vendor features such as image upload limits or dashboard capabilities require Apple In-App Purchase under App Store Review Guideline 3.1, or can such vendor plans be processed using a third-party payment gateway as account-based service tiers?

Reply to iOS 26; Wrong Account for TF purchase attempt
Hello, To further investigate this, please file a bug report using Feedback Assistant. It is crucial that you securely attach screenshots of the purchase dialog showing the incorrect email, as well as screenshots from your device's Settings > App Store screen showing both the Media & Purchases and the Sandbox Account sections. Additionally, you can follow the instructions on the Bug Reporting - Profiles and Logs page to capture and attach a sysdiagnose log immediately after reproducing the issue. Once submitted, please share the Feedback ID (e.g., FB12345678) here to track the report.
