Recently, some feedback has been received. After users upgrade to ipados 17.7.7 and return to the login status and restart the App, it will become invalid. We checked the log and found that the content stored in NSUserdefault would be lost after restarting the App. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Our app needs to read server settings that are configured in the app's settings. In iPadOS 17.7.7 specifically (iPadOS 17.7.6, iPadOS 18.5, and other versions works fine) one can't retrieve any setting from the settings bundle using: if ([[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:@setting_hostname] != nil) serverHostname = [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:@setting_hostname]; Also, when writing a custom value in NSUserDefaults like: [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] setObject:@Test forKey:@test]; [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] synchronize]; NSString* test = [[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults] objectForKey:@test]; NSLog(@%@, test); Shows an error in the console: Couldn't write values for keys ( test ) in CFPrefsPlistSource<0x3017ecc60> (Domain: , User: kCFPreferencesCurrentUser, ByHost: No, Container: (null), Contents Need Refresh: No): setting these preferences requires user-preference-write or file-write-data sandbox access When clos
Hi, I have a ninth generation iPad updated to iPados 26 beta 3 but now it no longer updates to the latest version of iPados 26, what can I do?
On macOS Monterey, the latest version of Xcode is 14.2. In this version, the latest available iPadOS is iPadOS 16.2. My test iPad 5 has been upgraded to 16.4 and I can't use it anymore for testing. How to go back to 16.2 on my iPad? I have no backup. I don't mind losing everything on the iPad. I just want to re-install my iPad with iPadOS 16.2. How do I do it?
How can I add iPad Simulator with iPadOS in XCode. I dont see the iPadOS option in Xcode Components.
This might be a silly question. Does anyone know if HealthKit is available for iPadOS 14? I see that it is now available for MacCatalyst 13.0+ in the documentation but iPadOS was not listed. Thanks, Casey

I’m trying to download stable version of iPadOS 15, (also I am a beta user rn) but can’t download it at all. Anyone else having the same probem? https://imgur.com/a/c3dl5C8
is there a way to downgrade ipados 14.2 back to 13.5? anything can help!
I forgot to ask this during my lab session, but I noticed iPadOS is not listed under supported OSes under the GroupActivities documentation page. iPadOS supports FaceTime, but is it that GroupActivies doesn't work on iPadOS? This would be a crying shame since one of the examples specifically involved drawing collaboratively. The iPad is the perfect device for that use case. EDIT: Quick edit. Coordinate media experiences with Group Activities mentions iPadOS support, in which case the first page I linked might have a missing OS entry.
iPadOS has Split View and Slide Over. How can I determine them using CSS?
Is it possible to downgrade iPadOS or iOS from version 16 to 15? If not how do developers test their applications on different versions of the OS? Thanks in advance!
I have an Xcode iPadOS WebKit app in which the remote web site is detecting the OS as iPadOS 10 from my app. The test iPad is running iPadOS 17.1.2. In regular Safari on the same iPad, the site works fine. I was trying to find a way to hard set the iPadOS version but I can not seem to track down the code for this to add to my app. Can the version of the web browser also be hard set for a WebKit app? Thanks!
Hello, for now when I build iPad app's I do choose iOS and then select a iPad as the target device. Is this still true for XCode 12 and iPadOS or is there some hidden iPadOS button to build explicite iPad apps. Know I have to build an iPad App that wil take 6 months+ and want to start on the right foot. I dont have to build an iPhone app. Any advise on this?
How can I do a conditional check for iPadOS ? I would have expected something like:#if targetEnvironment(iPadOS) ... #endifor#if os(iPadOS) ... #endifto work, but none of them do. I know how to do it by checking UIUserInterfaceIdiom, but I really thoguht one of the above would work.
I can't find where you can download and install iPadOS 15. I want to try to use the new Build Mac apps on iPad capability. When I go to my Settings>General page I see iPadOS 14.6. iPadOS is up to date. There is no link to an update page or procedure to get iPad 15. How do I find where I can download and install iPadOS 15?
