Upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro Max to an iPhone 16 Pro a week ago. Both running on latest iOS 18 and data transfer was done manually Bluetooth pairing seems to be facing a problem. I have been trying to pair up with my Sony WH-1000XM5 but somehow the phone fails to detect the headphones on Bluetooth. Today I tested with my spare earbuds Bose Soundsport Wireless and faced exactly the same problem. Strange Carplay and my home JVC home player don‘t have this problem

I just recently upgraded to iPhone 16 pro max and I noticed you can no longer film in the 4:3 ratio in selfie mode or front camera, from photos like you could on the 13 and 15 (previous phones) I have 4:3 selected, I hold down shutter button and swipe as always, the photo readjusts to 16:9. Then when you hit the shutter button again to stop it resets back to 4:3. Did Apple change this? Is recording in that 4:3 ratio no longer an option?
I just got my new iPhone 16 Pro and upgraded to the 18.2 developer beta 4. I've set both Siri and the device language to English (United States), but the Apple Intelligence feature still doesn’t appear in my settings.
I am currently using an iPhone 16 Pro Max. Recently, Apple released iOS 26, and after updating to this version, I noticed a possible issue related to the Bluetooth functionality. When connecting my iPhone to Bluetooth headphones, the connection frequently disconnects and then reconnects after a short period of time. Unfortunately, this happens repeatedly, which makes the user experience very frustrating and unsatisfactory. At first, I assumed the issue came from my headphones, but it appears that many other users have also experienced the same problem. Therefore, I believe this issue may be related to iOS 26 itself.

I have recently started testing ARKit on an iPhone 16 Pro and I have noticed that the AutoFocus reaction on this device is much slower than other devices. For example, if I point the camera to a close object AutoFocus takes 4-5 seconds to stabilize, the focal length is adjusted very very slowly. In some cases (although this is rare) AutoFocus seems almost stuck and requires a bit of device movement to trigger. This is quite problematic when using some ARKit features like Image and Object detection as the detection algorithms struggle with out-of-focus images. This problem is limited to ARKit. AutoFocus is significantly more responsive when the standard AVFoundation Camera API is used. This behavior is easy to reproduce with any of the ARKit samples like https://developer.apple.com/documentation/arkit/arkit_in_ios/content_anchors/tracking_and_visualizing_planes Is anybody else experiencing this problem?
Description When starting Live Activities via ActivityKit push notifications, the “start” notification is received correctly on iPhone 16 Pro Max, but subsequent update or end push notifications are not. The same implementation on iPhone 16 Pro behaves as expected (both start and update/end notifications are delivered and processed). Environment Property Value Device (failing) iPhone 16 Pro Max Device (working) iPhone 16 Pro iOS Version 18.5 Xcode / SDK 16.2/ActivityKit / Push Notifications Network Wi-Fi / Cellular (both tested) Data Collection Method Devices connected via USB. Logs captured using Console.app. Log filtering applied for the liveactivitiesd daemon to isolate Live Activity behavior. Initial Triage/Observations Payload format confirmed compatible; no incompatible fields. APNs token remains the same across messages (no refresh). Identical ActivityKit subscriptions/participants on both devices. Server-side delivery is confirmed
Hello, I am trying to get the new iPhone 16 pro to achieve 4k 120fps encoding when we are getting the video feed from the default, wide angle camera on the back. We are using the apple API to capture the individual frames from the camera as they are processed and we get them in this callback: // this is the main callback function to handle video frames captured func captureOutput(_ output: AVCaptureOutput, didOutput sampleBuffer: CMSampleBuffer, from connection: AVCaptureConnection) { We are then taking these frames as they come in and encoding them using VideoToolBox. After they are encoded, they are added to a ring buffer so we can access them after they have been encoded. The problem is that when we are encoding these frames on an iPhone 16 Pro, we are only reaching 80-90fps instead of 120fps. We have removed as much processing as we can. We get some small attributes about the frame when it comes in, encode the frame, and then add it to our ring buffer. I have attached a
Error message: Previous preparation error: The developer disk image could not be mounted on this device.; Error mounting image: 0xe800010f (kAMDMobileImageMounterPersonalizedBundleMissingVariantError: The bundle image is missing the requested variant for this device.) I had no issues previously with my iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 18 and my XCode 15. Now, after switching to the iPhone 16 Pro, it won't work. I've tried restarting my phone several times, quitting XCode, removing and readding developer mode—nothing quite works.
Hi all, we are working on iOS application that includes the camera functionality. This week we have received a few customer complaints regarding the camera usage with iPhone 16/16 Pro, both of the customers said that they have an issue with the camera preview(when the camera is open) the camera preview is just freezer but any other functionally and UI works as expected. Moreover the issue happens only for back camera, the front camera works perfectly. We have tested it in context of iOS 18 with iPhone 14/15/15 Pro/15 Pro Max but all devices with iOS 18 works perfectly without any issues. So we assumed there was no issues with iOS 18 but some breaking changes with the new iPhone 16/16 pro cameras were introduced that caused this effect. Unfortunatly, currently we can't test directly usign the iPhone 16/16 Pro since we have't these devices. We are using SwiftUI framework and her
I recently got an iPhone 16 Pro Max, and I’m currently running iOS 18.1 Beta 5 (22B5054e). I’ve noticed an issue when charging overnight with MagSafe. My phone stops charging, and last night it stopped at 63%. I’m also having problems when charging via cable. It shows “slow charger” even though I’m using a 100W charger. Is this an issue with iOS 18.1 or could it be a defect with the iPhone itself? I didn’t experience this with my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Thanks

I am using iOS 18.1 on an iPhone 16 Pro. Although I am using a SanDisk external hard drive, the iPhone’s Files app is not recognizing the drive properly, and video files are not playing well. I'm getting a crash in SwiftData but only on one specific device (iPhone 16 pro running 18.2 22C5131e) and not on an ipad or simulator I cant troubleshoot this crash and its quite frustrating, all I am getting is @Query(sort: Todo.timestamp, order: .reverse) private var todos: [Todo] ForEach(todos.filter { !$0.completed }) { item in // <---crash TodoListView() } and the error is Thread 1: signal SIGABRT An abort signal terminated the process. Such crashes often happen because of an uncaught exception or unrecoverable error or calling the abort() function. and _SwiftData_SwiftUI.Query.wrappedValue.getter : τ_0_1 -> 0x105b98b58 <+160>: ldur x8, [x29, #-0x40] 0x105b98b5c <+164>: ldur x0, [x29, #-0x38] 0x105b98b60 <+168>: ldur x1, [x29, #-0x30] 0x105b98b64 <+172>: ldur x9, [x29, #-0x20] 0x105b98b68 <+176>: stur x9, [x29, #-0x28] 0x105b98b6c <+180>: ldr x8, [x8, #0x8] 0x105b98b70 <+184>: blr x8 0x105b98b74 <+188>: ldur x0, [x29, #-0x28] 0x105b
I could use apple intelligence on my previous iPhone 15 Pro Max but after switching to iPhone 16 Pro Max, apple intelligence was not able to work. I kept the same Apple ID, these two phone are from the same region(Singapore) and I have turned on apple intelligence. And they were both iOS beta software, I just upgraded to 18.1beta7
@DTS Engineer I can second the issue and suspect it to have something to do with restore/update from an older iOS device when the certificate is already present on the older device. Here are the steps to reproduce the issue for me: Bought a new iPhone 16 Pro Restored the iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 18.1) from an iPhone 7 (iOS 15.8.3) backup The iPhone 7 already had a custom (working!) root CA certificate installed The root CA certificate was not present after the restore on the iPhone 16 Pro Re-Installed the root CA by (1) downloading the certificate via Safari and opening it via the Files app on the iPhone 16 Pro Profile is successfully registered in settings -> general -> VPN & Device Management on the iPhone 16 Pro No triggers option to trust the certificate in Settings / About / Certificate Trust Settings on the iPhone 16 Pro though Unfortunately, I cannot file a bug report becaus
