I have recently made an app whose name is 'campus date'. As you can find on its name, it is dating app. And that app got rejected because dating app is already satuated and my app seems like existing apps. However, my app is rooted in unique intention that is matching from certain university. Especially, in my country (South Korea), there is no dating app that matches users in the same university. I think that makes differences enough but Apple doesn't think that is enough. I have no idea to resolve this situation, what should I do? what feature could be in dating app and make Apple feel different. One of my small ideas is 'recommendation for dating place'. This dating app has users that are in same university, so I would like to recommend some dating place which is located near that university. Do you think this kind of approach is correct? or should I focus on different thing? Any ideas or your experiences, please comment, thank you
Hello, I want to ask a question: about the problem that domestic copyrighted music content cannot be displayed to users in non-China regions. Specifically: There are some music in our APP (copyright only in China). Our APP needs to be localized internationally to support users to download and use it in China or other countries. Shows music that is not copyrighted. Like this kind of demand, Apple generally recommends how to do it? Do we need to create a Chinese version of the APP and a foreign version of the APP separately? How to avoid the repeated application of 4.3 audit problems? How to achieve better international display differences?
Hello. They told me this: We are not able to provide feedback on app concepts or features, but we recommend evaluating your suggestions against the App Store Review Guidelines, as well as the iOS Developer Program License Agreement (PLA), and the Human Interface Guidelines. Additionally, if you are considering implementing any of the following functionality, we recommend reviewing all associated reference material and other resources available on Apple Developer for any additional requirements. I'm trying to add a card game to the app store, but it's being rejected. I can't understand why, apparently it would be because there is another card game like it. Is that possible ? There are many poker games for example. I need help ! Thanks. Greetings.
There is a risk that the second app submitted will be rejected as spam. In addition, you take the risk of account cancellation because you tried to fool the appStore. In a word, I would not do it. At least I would make it very clear in the comments to reviewer when submitting both apps in order to avoid account cancellation. See Guideline 4.3: . 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. If your app has different versions for specific locations, sports teams, universities, etc., consider submitting a single app and provide the variations using in-app purchase. Also avoid piling on to a category that is already saturated; the App Store has enough fart, burp, flashlight, fortune telling, dating, drinking games, and Kama Sutra apps, etc. already. We will reject these apps unless they provide a unique, high-quality experience. Spamming the store may lead to your removal from the Apple Developer Program.

Hello, I've developed a dating app and published it on Google Play Store without any problem. I tried to publish it on Apple App Store. But it was rejected because of Guideline 4.3 - Design - Spam reason. I changed some design elements, added some new features and tried to publish it to Test Flight, so my friends with iPhone can test and send feedback to me. But my app was rejected again on Test Flight too with same reason. I guess all new dating apps are being rejected with Guideline 4.3 - Design - Spam reason. I saw a lot of posts about dating apps rejected with same reason. In fact dating app that I developed is for a small group of people and there are (as far as I count) only 5 more dating apps in App Store for same small group of people. My dating app would be the 6th of them, if it was published. I think 6 apps for same group of people should not be too much. So my question is what should I do next? What should I do to be able to pass Guideline 4.3 - Design - Spam and publish
I have submitted my app. It is a unique app. But it was rejected due to this ; We are writing to let you know that we have completed our evaluation of your app and account. Upon further review, we found that your app does not comply with the following guidelines: 4.3 Spam Don’t create multiple Bundle IDs of the same app. I have submitted same app before with different bundle ID and different app ID. It was rejected because of a coding problem. But I have deleted that submission already. I
That stinks. I got a 4.3 just a short while ago and feel super stuck on figuring out how to solve it. My content is unique but apple is claiming the same things they did for you. Did you have any luck figuring this out seeing how it's been years? Thx

Hi - After having spoken with Apple directly regarding 4.3 Spam Guidelines, (they were no help), I'd like to put this out to apple developer community for thoughts and feedback. Our business operates in such a way that it requires our customer to have their own branded app/experience. As we all know, managing multiple Apple Developer accounts, codebases, QA testing processes is an absolute nightmare and we would like to avoid this if possible. I don't think we can, but seemingly, other companies have not followed these guidelines and their apps are still in the AppStore, for now... https://apps.apple.com/us/developer/yardi-systems-inc/id425728804?see-all=i-phone-apps https://apps.apple.com/au/developer/buildinglink-com/id355921358?see-all=i-phonei-pad-apps How is this so? Are these companies infringing on these guidelines? How are they 'getting away with this'? Is it just a matter of time before Apple comes down hard on these companies for their app listings? And what is the best advice moving forwar
We are not able to provide feedback on app concepts or features, but we recommend evaluating your app against the App Store Review Guidelines, as well as the iOS Developer Program License Agreement (PLA), and the Human Interface Guidelines. Is it the only comment made by Appstore reviewers ? You do not tell anything about the app, what it is doing ? Appstore guidelines are not that long

my Chinese Chess Game be rejected 2 times. the reason: We continued to notice that your app provides the same feature set as other apps submitted to the App Store; it simply varies in content or language, which is considered a form of spam. What I'm more curious about is where is the measurement standard for this sentence? According to this reply same feature set as other apps , should APPLE STORE have only one chess games, and the others are considered spam? but why there are so many Chess game there? do they have different features? based on that reply, I think, I am not a chess player. or I am not playing IOS chess game. my APP should be the strongest AI already. have Large End Game Database for play. have self define board for play With AI. any suggestion of make different features set?
What process can be successfully modified? Can I remove the old app from the shelf and use the new BundleID to re launch it? If so, how to deal with the problems related to 4.3 Spam in the new application audit?
I am trying to upload a new build of my app from the new Xcode 14.1 RC but it keeps failing with the below error: ITMS-90428: Invalid Swift Support - The files libswift_Concurrency.dylib don’t match /Payload/MY_APP.app/MY_APP_WatchOS.app/libswift_Concurrency.dylib. Make sure the files are correct, rebuild your app, and resubmit it. Don’t apply post-processing to /Payload/MY_APP.app/MY_APP_WatchOS.app/libswift_Concurrency.dylib. My bundle contains a watchOS 4.3 app which I thought might have been an issue, so I tried increasing it to watchOS 7.0 but still got the error. Bitcode is disabled for all targets. I don't have post-processing enabled either.

Could it be the size of the zip? I think that’s it. Historically there have been 32-bit limits on zip archives. These were fixed with ZIP64 but it’s possible that notarytool didn’t get the memo. To test this I created a 4.3 GB file full of random numbers: % dd if=/dev/random of=random.dat bs=1024 count=4199218 I added it to my app and then resigned it. % mv random.dat Test718887.app/Contents/Resources % codesign -s Developer ID Application -f -o runtime Test718887.app I then zipped and notarised it as above. This time around, I saw the error you’re seeing: % notarytool-submit Test718887.zip Conducting pre-submission checks for Test718887.zip and initiating connection to the Apple notary service... Error: Test718887.zip must be a zip archive (.zip), flat installer package (.pkg), or UDIF disk image (.dmg) Note notarytool-submit is an alias that expands to xcrun notarytool submit CREDENTIALS. That seems kinda wonky to me and I recommend that you file a bug about it. Please post your bug number, just fo
