HLS VOD Download Resume after Wifi/LTE Change
Hello there, Our application has HLS VOD download option. Users can download VOD which has DRM protection and watch content when device is offline. We use aggregateAssetDownloadTask to download HLS VOD. We want to resume download after Wifi/LTE change but it does not resume. Download is starting from beginning. We use some token algorithms to start download. That's why, our playlist url and chunks urls may change. But playlist and chunk urls' content is unique. If user start to download via Wifi and changed to LTE. Download request responds 403 Forbidden because of some token algorithms after some time func urlSession(_ session: URLSession, task: URLSessionTask, didCompleteWithError error: Error?) AVAssetDownloadDelegate function triggered by system. If we resume it does not resume at this point. It is starting from beginning if we start new download process for same content. Is there any way to resume unfinished HLS Download processes? Thanks

Reply to FSKit passthrough sample fails to mount
I can actually reproduce that quite easily. Reply to Xcode 26.4: Regressions in Intelligence features
Hi, I have also not determined a pattern. It's often if I pause for a while. Guaranteed to need a long overnight. But also happened during a session. I agree about the thought bubbles. They are almost pointless if you can't read them. Claude has got slower more recently, may be due to the influx of users due to political affairs. Re: Codex & Claude showing: Up until 26.4 beta 3 and before you selected your agent to use and then from then on you just hit new session/chat. In 26.4 rc there is no choice of active agent. All you do is click new session/chat. When you tap the button a pop over appears requesting the agent you wish to use. It's a very jarring workflow... Hopefully this isn't coming across as too negative. The agentic development flow is amazing, it just needs the warts removed :) I can't reply inline because it limits the characters. Maybe that needs feeding back to the website team. It feels like we don't want people to engage when the replies are artificially curtailed

Kernel panic when using fclonefileat from ES
Hi, I am developing instant snapshot backup solution for macOS using Endpoint Security. We have stumbled upon a Kernel Panic when using fclonefileat API. Apple Developer Program Enrollment – Approval Time
I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program about 7 days ago, but my account is still showing as “Pending,” and I haven’t received any updates yet. I’ve already contacted Apple Developer Support via email, but I haven’t heard back so far. I wanted to check if this waiting period is typical, or if I should take any additional steps to complete the enrollment process. Has anyone experienced a similar delay recently? Any guidance on the usual approval timeline would be appreciated.

Reply to Securing XPC Daemon Communication from Authorization Plugin
Thank you again for the prompt response and for sharing the additional information. How would you expect that to work? Your plug-in is loaded into a system process. How can your daemon, as the XPC listener, identify which code within that process sent the XPC message. It’s conceptually impossible. I acknowledge the limitation,I wouldn’t try to distinguish specific code within the process, since that isn’t feasible. Instead, I’d skip client validation for the authorization plug-in path. For other clients communicating with the daemon, I already enforce validation using proper identifiers and code-signing checks and works. Since the core logic is shared, the idea is to rely on those validated clients and bypass the check only for the authorization process. Now I’d argue that defending yourself from rogue authorisation plug-ins is pointless, because if an attacker is in a position to install an authorisation plug-in the game is basically over, but that’s a policy question that

Rejected a couple of time for 5.1.1/5.1.2 - AI consent screen not seen by reviewers despite being first screen on launch
I've been rejected a couple of times for Guidelines 5.1.1(i) and 5.1.2(i) regarding third-party AI data sharing consent. Each time, the reviewer states they cannot see the consent prompt, even though it is the first screen displayed on every app launch. My app (GymFusion) uses Anthropic's Claude AI for features like meal scanning, body composition analysis, and workout coaching. Here is exactly what I've implemented: IN-APP CONSENT (embedded in view hierarchy, not a sheet/popup): In my RootView.swift, the consent is a conditional view that blocks the entire app: } else if !consentManager.hasConsented && !consentManager.hasSeenConsent { AIConsentView() } else if auth.isAuthenticated { MainTabView() } The hasSeenConsent flag is reset to false on every app launch in the App's init(), so the consent screen appears on every launch until the user accepts: init() { UserDefaults.standard.set(false, forKey: user_ai_consent_seen) AIConsentManager.shared.hasSeenConsent = false FirebaseApp.configure() } THE CONSE

Hey @drewolbrich, Thanks for filing this feedback. I wasn't able to replicate your experience, but I'm curious if you get the same result by replacing opacity(_:) with OpacityComponent? Additionally, have you considered applying a subtle breakthrough effect on your views? This might mitigate the issue and could improve things if you expect your views to collide your content. Are you able to replicate this behavior in a sample project that we could take a look at? Feel free to link it publicly here, or you can privately share any project with us in your Feedback Request. That'll help us better understand what's going on. If you're not familiar with preparing a test project, take a look at Creating a test project. Thanks, Michael

"Invalid Certificate Signing Request" error when generating MDM Push Certificate
Hello, I am currently developing an MDM solution, including both the sever-side(.NET) and the client app. I have recently been granted the MDM CSR signing permission in the Certificates, Identifier & Profiles of my developer account. I am following the official Apple documentation, Setting up Push Notifications for your MDM Customers, to generate the required MDM Push Certificate. However, I keep encountering the Invalid Certificate Signing Request error when uploading the encoded .plist file to the Apple Push Certificates Portal(identity.apple.com/pushcert). The steps I have taken so far: Generated .csr file via Keychain Access Used the MDM SCR certificate to sign the request. Created a .plist file for th final upload containing : Customer CSR: Base64 encoded Signature : Signed using the SHA256withRSA algorithm and Base64 encoded. macOS 26.4 regression with Mac Catalyst apps using PhotoKit: Photos do not appear when using limited access - Failed to get sandbox extension for url - Image request failed with error PHPhotosErrorDomain Code 3303

Again, please upload the full spintrace to that bug and then post the bug number back here. It definitely revised (well, APFS), that's holding the lock. Sure, but the question is why, not who. Causes this kind of hang are the interactions between multiple locks and multiple processes. Urgent: Bundle ID Case-Sensitivity Mismatch for Approved Family Controls Entitlement
[Reply to DTS Engineer] Thank you for looking into this. I have identified the root cause of the issue: it is a Bundle ID case-sensitivity mismatch. My parent app was approved as com.hayashikento.FocusPact (Capitalized), but I accidentally requested the Configuration Extension with a lowercase ID (com.hayashikento.focuspact...). This causes a Prefix Mismatch error in Xcode, preventing me from archiving the app. To fix this, I have just submitted a new entitlement request with the corrected capitalized ID: com.hayashikento.FocusPact.ShieldConfigurationExtension Since the core functionality was already approved under the lowercase ID, could you please expedite the approval for this capitalized version? This technical correction is the only thing blocking my TestFlight distribution. Thank you for your support!
