Hi all, I was having an issue which my APP was got rejected and I received
an email said the following ITMS-90165: Invalid Provisioning Profile Signature. The provisioning profile included in the bundle 'app'
(ios.app) cannot be used to submit apps to the iOS App Store until
it has a valid signature from Apple. (Expired profile signing certificate.)
However, I can see my
certificate and profile are still valid till 2022 May from the developer
portal. Can someone let me know why I encounter this issue please? I was
able to submit an iOS APP back in 2022 Mar. Could anyone please advise what I need to
do to resolve the current situation and how I can prevent the same case in
ongoing please? Also, it will be great if anyone can let me know any limitation or
standard of using the APPLE related certificate to do distribution and
development.

I see a lot of "tiktok downloader" apps in the App Store.
Like this one https://apps.apple.com/in/app/tiksave-save-repost-videos/id1548135477
When I created my own app, it was rejected because of
5.0.0 Legal: Preamble
5.2.3 Legal: Intellectual Property - Audio/Video Downloading
Any Idea how to pass the moderation?
Hi,
My game has been rejected based on the following:
We discovered that your app contains hidden features. Specifically, this app contains functionality to load a webview of external content within the app. It would be appropriate to ‘bake-in’ content of these web pages into the submitted binary or remove them from the app’s functionality before resubmitting for review.
I do have a attribution screen that i credit people who have helped me with the game and link (opens externally in Safari) to their Instagram/SoundCloud/behance/email accounts.
Is this not allowed?

Hi! I'm newer in App Store connect and I'm trying to upload my first application on App Store.
I've built my application and uploaded it on App Store Connect through XCode. Now it is in Activity tab with status Processing. When I go to App Store tab under Build section I have the following message: "Upload your builds using one of several tools. See Upload Tools" and I have no button + to choose my build. The button on the right corner "Submit for Review" is active but when I click on it it shows me the following error: "Unable to Submit for Review: You must choose a build".
Can anyone help me, please! What is wrong? What I'm doing in wrong way?

Hi all,
I'm trying to finish uploading my app and there is a stupid error with uploading screenshots. I simply cannot. Every time I try to upload a screenshot, I get a nice error. It says I need a screenshot with the dimensions 1242x2688. This is bigger than my MacBook Air's screen!!!! What in the world???
I cannot express how much distaste I have for Apple and all of their development tools, I have shouldered this burden all the way to uploading to the App Store, and naturally, I cannot upload screenshots. What in the world Apple?
I would like this problem to get fixed IMMEDIATELY. (Or at your earliest convenience, Apple. (Which would be hmmm.... 5+ years.)).
There is no working way around this, and I am stuck until this error gets fixed. If it doesn't, I can't upload my app until then. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...............

Hi,
The app I will be submitting for review requires sign in.
App has in app card/passes provisioning so the auth must be MFA. The app it self does not give you an option to create an account. Accounts are created elsewhere by organization.
I need guidance on how to provide Apple App Review Team with an account in order for them to sign in into the app. E.g. they would need to go through a MFA (Multi-Factor-Authentication) verification such as a confirmation code would need to be retrieved and entered. So my question is, does Apple have an email address that they can provide that I can setup an account for with MFA that way you guys would then use it to review the app submission? Or do we need to give you fully setup email account and pass that you would use to retrieve the MFA code to sign in. OR is there no way to test with MFA credentials when submitting for review?
Since today, I'm getting this message (including the typo) every single time I try to upload a new build of my app to both the macOS & iOS app stores.
If I upload the iOS version first, I'll get the error when I upload the macOS version. If I upload the macOS version first, I get the error on the iOS version.
It's a catalyst app and it's the same build across both platforms. Common build numbers between iOS & macOS have always been allowed, and I released a binary to both iOS & macOS app stores with the same build number last week.
Any idea what's going on?

I am trying to update one of my apps with a minor bug fix. I keep getting "App record creation error"
It states: The App name you entered is already being used for another app in your account.
Of course it is, its an update. I changed the version number.
Any thoughts on this error?
Thanks
Drew

Are there any special guidelines particularly for a browser to submit it to the Mac App Store?

I would like to enroll developer program as individual to trade my app. This application consists of 17 games, including: simulation of gamble, chess, king chess, monopoly… and it is in-app-purchase.
I wonder what regulations were listed games required. Besides, can I register as individual to upload the app?

Hello everyone.
I have mistakenly created a submission version of my application for macOS as well. I want to delete this submission.
I have not added any details in this submission, no screenshots or anything else, even though I have not submitted it for review.
I want to delete this macOS App version.

So there is this App Store related news going on:
https://developer.apple.com/news/?id=2t1chhp3
"Starting April 25, 2022, iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS apps submitted to the App Store must be built with Xcode 13, which includes the SDKs for iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and watchOS 8."
For my case I have developed an SDK as framework.
Does it mean the pod installed frameworks that i am using in my SDK also needed to be updated to the version that is built by xcode 13?

I submit a new version fixing the issues apple listed but they said there are still unresolved. I reply the message and attached some pictures. Should I press resubmit to app review or wait until they answer?

Dear Apple Developers community,
Our app is being rejected by the App Store upon review based on detecting crashes upon launch. However, following exhaustive tests on all available simulators and some physical devices (including an iPhone 12 Pro running iOS 14.4.2) we were unable to reproduce the crashes reported. We also tried testing a binary via TestFlight without any issues at all. We also symbolicated our crash reports following Apple's documentation without being able to find any issues that cause the crash upon launch. I am attaching the three reports that Apple Store review shared with us for reference along with the symbolicated outputs for "ParkZen" and "FirebaseFirestore". Our app uses the FireStore database. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I'm working with a health / university organization that wants a mobile application for their educational content.
(In short, it's CMS / course content. Similar to what you could build in WordPress or BlackBoard.)
One idea is that we could wrap an app around a webview to render CMS content.
My concern is that the app could be rejected due to Apple's guidelines on apps having to provide a unique, value-added experience for mobile: https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/#minimum-functionality
I understand this, but given that this is a health/university organization and having a mobile app is a requirement for their contracts, would we still be able to push the app forward?
To add onto this, our other option is to use the CMS in a headless way and render HTML through native components using a plugin, but it will still be quite some time before we would have an experienced truly catered to native / mobile.
I can see that there are a good number of "information" apps from other organizations, that I could see being rejected for these same guidelines but weren't... so I think we have at least a half-decent chance of making our case, but:
I don't want to take any chances and
I need to know what to tell the organization stakeholders what they should do regarding the app through their business / organizational account.
Has anyone has any experience with this?

Apple are repeatedly rejecting our app and saying, I'm not kidding, that it's copying ITSELF. We don't know what to do and seem stuck in an infinite loop. Attaching documents, comments etc. does not work. Has anyone ever had this happen?
We have resubmitted 3 times now and each time it's saying "Specifically, your app includes content that resembles Mort's Bedtime Stories."
Our app IS Mort's Bedtime Stories. We ARE Mortis Media.
This was supposed to launch at the start of this month after a successful fundraiser for the app, and we're just stuck :(

At what point in the iOS development process using Xcode is my app name reserved on App Store? Last I remember when I published my iOS app for sale status on iOS App Store at App Store Connect I had to change my published app name because there were already other apps using that name. I think that was the name that was actually showing on the App Store, and not the name I put in the Product Name field when I first create the project in Xcode.
I just tried to validate my iOS app and it wouldn't validate because it said there was already an app with that "App Name". I take it that means the name I put in the Product Name field when I first created the project, if I don't change it later. Is that correct?
So if my iOS app project validates, does that mean I have that App Name reserved so that no one else can use it?
How do I reserve a name for my iOS app so that no one else will get it once I reserve it?

The first iteration of our app will be for an internal user base, but we anticipate adding features that would open our app up to being used by users external to our company as well. With those two phases in mind we're wanting to know if we can name the app initially in a way that would more match up with the functionality the app will have when it's intended for our internal users, and then change it once we've added external user features.

When I sign into App Store Connect, I am taken to this URL:
https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/review_agree
The page shows a gray activity spinner for a few seconds, then is blank. I have tried on multiple computers and multiple browsers, over the past few weeks, with the same result.
I have lodged a developer support request, but it hasn’t been resolved yet. It’s been holding up our App Store submission for a couple of weeks now. Any ideas of things I could try, or has anyone else had this issue and had it resolved ?
