Geofencing with CLMonitor Does Not Work After User-Initiated Task Kill
I have implemented geofencing using CLMonitor. The implementation follows this general structure: private var monitorTask: Task<Void, Never>? private var backgroundSession: CLBackgroundActivitySession? func start() async { backgroundSession = CLBackgroundActivitySession() monitorTask = Task { do { let monitor = await CLMonitor("monitor") for try await event in await monitor.events { handleEvent(event: event) } } catch {} } } func addSpot() async { let monitor = await CLMonitor("monitor") let center = CLLocationCoordinate2D(latitude: 0, longitude: 0) let condition = CLMonitor.CircularGeographicCondition(center: center, radius: 100) await monitor.add(condition, identifier: "sample-1") } When the app is not task-killed, the code inside handleEvent executes as expected. However, after a user-initiated task kill, the functionality does not work properly.

Unable to auto update pass using webservice url
I have added an auto updatable pass to wallet. As soon as it is added I am able to receive the registration request. When there is change available for the pass I am able to trigger push notification to registered device via APNS. I am also able to receive the consecutive call about serial numbers. In the final call made from device to /v1/passes endpoint , server is sending the pass with these headers - Content-Type, Content-Disposition, Last-Modified however the pass is not getting updated. There are no logs received on /v1/log endpoint. From a MacBook when I hit the same endpoint, I am able to download and open the pass. Anything else that is needed on the headers so it can work on device? Is it necessary to have change description in the updated pass so that pass can update on device?

Custom DNS for specific domains
Hello, I have a company laptop thats connected to the internet without a VPN. I need to be able to resolve my company's sub domains using a specific dns server, and have all other domains resolved by the system wide name server. In windows, this is trivial to do. In an admin powershell I run "Add-DnsClientNrptRule -Namespace ".foo.mycompany.com" -Nameserver "127.0.0.1" and resolution requests for *.foo.mycompany.com is sent to a name server running on the localhost. All other dns resolution requests are handled by the system configured resolver. MacOS does have the /etc/resolver/ solution for this, but my understanding from these forums is that this is not the recommended approach. Note - I have tried it and it works. AFAIU, the recommended approach is to create a system Network extension using NEDNSProxyProvider, override handleNewFlow() and do what's necessary. The issue with this solution is that it requires handling all the dns flow parsing of DNS datagrams to extract the host forwarding the datagrams to the appropriate dns server Handle responses. Deal with flow control Handle edge cases. I was hoping for something much simpler than us needing to implement datagram parsing. Could you please shed light on our options and how we could proceed ?

Notification Received in Kill Mode but No Method Invoked in iOS
Hello Apple Developer Team, I am facing an issue with remote notifications in my iOS app. When the app is in a terminated (kill) state, notifications are successfully received by the device, but none of the app's handlers (like _firebaseMessagingBackgroundHandler in Flutter) are invoked. This is impacting our ability to process silent notifications or perform background tasks reliably when the app is not running. Steps to reproduce: Send a remote notification with content-available: 1 in the payload. Confirm the notification is received by the device while the app is in kill mode. Observe that no background or foreground notification methods are triggered in the app. Expected Behavior: The app should invoke the background handler to process the notification payload, even in a terminated state. Observed Behavior: The notification is delivered to the device, but no app-level processing occurs because none of the methods are triggered. Can you please confirm if this is the intended behavior due to iOS limitations, or if there is a configuration or alternative solution to allow background handlers to execute in such scenarios? Any guidance or clarification would be highly appreciated. Thank you!

Unable to retreive transactions history or Info (StoreKit2)
Hi everyone, I’m currently integrating auto-renewable subscriptions in my React Native app, and I’m encountering an issue with the StoreKit2 API. What Works I’ve successfully implemented in-app purchases, and I can purchase auto-renewable subscriptions without any issues. After the purchase, I’m receiving the following transaction details: ``{ "originalTransactionDateIOS": 1732733802000, "originalTransactionIdentifierIOS": "2000007891139879", "productId": "product.id", "transactionDate": 1732748202000, "transactionId": "2000007935522994", "transactionReceipt": "xxxxxxxxxxxxCwIBAwIBAQ" }`` The Problem When I send the transactionId to my server and call either getTransactionHistory or getTransactionInfo using the App Store Server API, I always receive an empty array as the response. Additionally, I’ve tried testing with StoreKit Testing in Xcode, but I consistently get 0 as the transactionId, which makes it impossible to verify the transactions. Here’s what I’ve done so far: I’m using a sandbox account for testing. The subscription purchase flow works, and the transactionId is successfully retrieved in the app. I’ve double-checked that the transactionId sent to the server matches the one from the app. Thanks in advance!

Provisioning an IoT devise under iOS 18 - Wi-Fi incompatibility
It is not possible to establish a point-to-point WiFi connection between iPhone models 15 and 16 (iOS 18) and the HiFlying HF-LPB100-1 module used by our IoT devices to control Yale locks: https://www.yaleconnecthub.com/en/compatible-products/hub The message displayed on the iPhone WiFi network settings screen when selecting the HF-LPB100-1 module network states 'Unable to connect'. It is important to highlight that all iPhone models and previous OS versions are compatible with this WiFi module (antenna + chipset). We already made a post in the Feedback Assistence platform FB15809338 (Provisioning an IoT devise under iOS 18 - Wi-Fi incompatibility ) STEPS TO REPRODUCE Plug in the Yale Connect Hub model YALE-4971 (with HF-LPB100-1 module) > The device's WiFi module will start reporting its network. On an iPhone 15 or 16 -using iOS 18 - display the WiFi network configuration screen and select Yale´s device network (it is named Yale-xxxxxx). Select the Yale network for the iPhone to connect point-to-point. An error message will appear: Unable to connect.

calling SCNetworkReachabilityGetFlags in iOS16 does not return the correct flags as expected
Hi I just encountered an reachability detection problem by calling SCNetworkReachabilityGetFlags function in iOS 16. what did I do: on device iPhone 12, iOS 16.1.1, turn on Airplane Mode, call SCNetworkReachabilityGetFlags, got flags = kSCNetworkReachabilityFlagsTransientConnection | kSCNetworkReachabilityFlagsReachable on device iPhone 7, iOS 14.5.1, turn on Airplane Mode, call SCNetworkReachabilityGetFlags, got flags = 0 what I expect: I'm expecting SCNetworkReachabilityGetFlags on my iOS 16.1 device behave same as my iOS 14.5 device, returning flags = 0. It's inappropriate returning kSCNetworkReachabilityFlagsReachable in this case. Thank you!

Payment from pass from wallet
Hi, I want to develop the fastest payment method for my user and preferably without the user also having a mobile app. The dream is that it happens as easily as possible when the user/guest scans a pass from the wallet. Hopefully the user just has to approve on the screen. Can I attach card details/payment methods to a pass in the wallet? Right now it is a unique QR code for each user, but can I change the pass type to 'tansit', 'loyalty' or 'membership'? My system right now: The customer/guest registers on a website and creates a pass and downloads it to the wallet. The store has a PWA app to scan the customer's/guest's items. My goal: The guest just scans the pass in the wallet and makes the transaction. Dont need an app or go back to the website/login where the person created the pass for the wallet.

How to get access of Admin Submission/Completion queues for NVMe devices from any driver or user space application to submit Admin command ?
Few user space applications are available in market for example xnvme, but does not have any interaction with Admin Submission/Completion queues. Also IOCTLs are not very prominent . Is there any ways to get access to the native NVMe Mac driver source code? Thanks, hopefully we will get some positive response here.

How get the backend service get the fefund amount in the subscription plan "Upgrade" cases?
If a user applies for and is approved for a subscription refund by Apple, we understand that the developer can receive a server notification of "REFUND." However, this notification doesn't include the refund amount. Therefore, we thought about linking the refund amount information output in the financial report "All Countries or Regions (Detailed)" with individual end-user transaction information. However, it seems that this report doesn't have a transaction ID, and the records appear to be aggregated daily. Is there any way we can find out how much was refunded to which user for individual refunds? If a user applies for a subscription refund from Apple, are there cases where only a part of the plan, rather than the full amount, is refunded?
