Invalid Binary
Greetings, I am facing the following issue. I always get that the app was rejected for no obvious reason. I also notice the message Invalid Binary at the app version. I am on MacOs 14.7.6, Xcode 16.0. I have validated the app using the xcode archive and I got that everything is valid, and the app gets uploaded to app store connect with no issue, but once I submit the app for review I get those errors and the release gets rejected. Any help ? error message Your app version was rejected and no other items submitted can be accepted or approved. You can make edits to your app version below.

Issues in uploading screenshots for iOS app in App Store Connect
We have two sets of screenshot images for 5.5 and 6.5 displays of the iOS app which needs a new version. When I first uploaded the screenshot set for the 6.5 display, it looks all good. Then I uploaded another set for the 5.5 display and headed back to check 6.5 images. I found some of them reported errors IMAGE_TOOL_FAILURE. Then I deleted all 6.5 screenshots, re-uploaded for the 6.5 display again. However, this time 5.5 had errors. It is like a loop. I tried tens of times. And, if I upload 6.5 first, it all looks good. And then I go to another tab, for example, the app information tab and then come back. I also find the images are marked as 'The file has been uploaded and is processing ' .

Invalid large app icon with Xcode 26 beta 6
I’m having a bit of trouble uploading my new icon to the App Store Connect. I created it entirely with Icon Composer, but it keeps throwing an error saying it’s an “Invalid large app icon.” The error message says that the large app icon in the asset catalog can’t be transparent or have an alpha channel. I only have one AppIcon in the asset catalog, and I’ve checked the “single size” option, which is set to 1024x1024 for any, dark, or tinted size. In the past, when I used the previous icon with the iOS 18 SDK, I didn’t have any issues uploading it. However, when I created the new icon with Icon Composer and compiled it with Xcode Beta, it broke. I’m a bit confused because the error message suggests that removing transparency is the solution, but the whole point of Icon Composer is to make the icon transparent for the new liquid glass design. I don’t want to remove the cool look that my new transparent icon has. Could you please help me out? I’d really appreciate it. Thanks a bunch!

Business Account Migration Stuck in Review
I submitted my developer account for a migration to a business account over a month ago, and it is still under review. I've reached out to developer support multiple times, but they have no updates other than that it is "under review by the operations team" with no timeline as to its completion. While my account is pending migration, I cannot submit any builds to App Store Connect. This essentially freezes my business - I've already had to delay an app launch twice! How can I expedite the review process? Is this a common issue? I feel like I have no other options to escalate.

Unity App Runs in Portrait on iPad Air (M1) with iPadOS 18.6, but Works on Older iPads.
Hi all, My Unity app was rejected for running in portrait mode on an iPad Air (5th gen) with iPadOS 18.6. My Unity Player settings are configured for landscape-only (Auto Rotation with Landscape Left and Landscape Right enabled). On my older iPad (5th gen) with iPadOS 16.7.11, the app works correctly and stays in landscape. Has anyone seen similar orientation issues with Unity builds on M1/M2 iPads running iPadOS 18? I suspect this is a bug with the new OS on specific hardware. Any insights are appreciated. Thanks.

Can I add a button that only opens Apple Wallet without adding passes?
Hello everyone, I am building a React Native (Expo) application where the customer requested a simple “Add to Wallet” button. However, instead of handling Wallet provisioning or passes, the requirement is just to open the Apple Wallet app when the user taps this button. My questions are: Is it allowed by App Store Review Guidelines to have a button that simply launches the Wallet app, without actually adding a pass (.pkpass) or card? After navigation to the Apple app user just can manually add the card to the Apple Wallet. If so, should I avoid using the official “Add to Apple Wallet” badge, since nothing is being added? Would a custom label like “Open Wallet” be more appropriate to comply with Apple’s branding rules? Could my app risk App Store rejection if I implement this simplified behavior? I want to make sure I follow the guidelines and avoid misleading users or violating branding rules. Any clarification or experiences from others who have submitted apps with similar functionality would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Financial Reports
Hello, Specific to this "You can also view detailed information for each country or region, such as the number of units sold, the amount earned in that country’s or region's currencies, taxes, and adjustments, the exchange rate applied to the payment, and the total proceeds owed to you displayed in the currency of your bank account." Can you please direct me to the report that has the exchange rate and amount distributed in our bank account currency? I can't seem to find this anywhere and it is making it difficult for us to close each month. Thank you.

App Analytics
Hi, this is the first app and time using apple forums and my question. I published an app and it says ready to distribute i have tested the link and installed it on my phone, however on the App Analytics it says "Not Enough Data". Know its been downloaded and installed because i did it but it shows as i said not enough data, is there a delay of a certain time, is there a difference between private and business. How can i find out if there has been a purchase, nothing is displaying as i was expecting.

Using Cross-Platform Subscriptions on iOS
If I have a subscription based app that's available on iOS, Android, and the web.I use the appropriate billing systems for each platform (Apple IAP for iOS, Google Play Billing for Android, and my own system for web) What happens when a user subscribes on Android or the web, then logs into the same account on the iOS app? Am I allowed to honor that existing subscription on iOS, or am I required to have them purchase a separate subscription through Apple’s in app purchase system in order to access premium features on the iOS app?

App rejected by App Store Connect with ITMS-90714: Invalid binary
Hi, I am on Mac OS Sequoia 15.5, XCode 16.4 (16F6) Uploading via XCode or Transporter is successful, then binary gets refused by App Store Connect. I have tried: Removing all Other Linker Flags except -ld64 as the app cannot be generated without ld64. My original Other Linker Flags: -all_load -w -Xlinker -no_objc_category_merging -ld64 2. Running xcrun dyld_info -objc Payload/YourApp.app/YourApp | grep "(null)" return nothing. Please, advise what else can I do.

app stuck in "waiting for review" for almost a month!
Hello App Review Team, We kindly seek your assistance regarding our app, which has remained in the “Waiting for Review” status since our initial submission on July 30. In order to refresh the process, we have submitted several new builds. We also reached out via email and submitted an expedited review request, but unfortunately, there has still been no progress. It has now been close to a month, and this extended delay is starting to impact our app’s revenue. We would greatly appreciate it if you could let us know whether there are any issues with our submission, or if additional materials are required from our side to help move the review forward. Our Appid: 6630392320 Thank you very much for your time and support.

App Preview Guidelines are too strict
Hello fellow devs and Apple engineers, I want to discuss with everyone about App Preview videos on the App Store. My app NFC.cool is an NFC reading and writing app which interacts with NFC tags that need to be held to the top of device frame of an iPhone. As you can see, this is how my app works and I would like to show that to users on the App Store and present my app in the best way possible. However I keep fighting with app review about device frames and/or "real" hands in my app preview videos. Sometimes I get a reviewer that is ok with the video and sometimes not. In screenshots device frames are accepted and very common. Why are they not allowed in app previews? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. And to be honest, I regularly see app previews with device frames on other AppStore pages. Here is the app preview that got rejected lately: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/qTDBGecK0w0 I can easily agree with the hands (even though they are not real, they are a render). But the device frame helps the user to understand what my app does and how it works. Ideally I would like to have some Apple staff to see this post here and hopefully start a small wave that will change the guidelines in the future. Here the message from the reviewer: Product Page Optimization Guideline 2.3.4 - Performance - Accurate Metadata The app preview for NFC Read Write Socials Video includes content that does not sufficiently show the app in use. Specifically, the app preview: Includes device images and/or device frames. Displays real hands. App previews should allow users to see what the app does and how it will >appear on their device when the preview is played in full screen. My answer: Hello, these are not real hands. These are renders. The video is accurately showing what the real use of my app. Please keep in mind that an NFC tag has to be held from the outside to the device to interact with my app. The guidelines definitely support what I did in my video. Please take another look. Thank you. Following the guidelines: 2.3.4 …You can add narration and video or textual overlays to help explain anything that isn’t clear from the video alone. https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/#accurate-metadata Use graphics and transitions. If you need to demonstrate how interaction or navigation works within your app, you may add graphic elements, such as touch hotspots. We recommend capturing the native UI resolution rather than zooming in on the view. Ensure that any transitions between scenes don’t imply functionality that your app doesn’t include. Aim to use straightforward transitions, like dissolves and fades. https://developer.apple.com/app-store/app-previews/ What's your opinion on this topic?

Has anyone experienced a 2-week wait in "Waiting for Review"?
Hello, I submitted an app on August 6th, and it is still in the "Waiting for Review" status. I contacted Apple a week ago, and they politely advised me that this is a normal situation and that I should continue to wait. Has anyone else experienced a similar delay? If so, I would appreciate it if you could share how it was resolved. App ID: 6749074330 Thank you.

IAP and account subscriptions
If I have an app available on IOS/Android/Web and offer subscriptions in each (Obviously using apple IAP / Google Play Billing when in those contexts) and a user creates an account on Android / Web and pays for that subscription and then logs in with the same account on the App Store, do I need to charge them again for a new subscription, or can I use their account subscription?

Obrigado! 🙏
