Notes App Self Scrolls
I just filed a bug report for the Notes app as follows:Area: Notes Summary: When opening Notes with content that is larger than the open Notes App window, and attempting to edit the note, the entire note content scrolls automatically to the top although the cursor remains where text editing was inserted. Typing on the Smart Keyboard will allow text entry however the note insistently keeps scrolling to the top regardless of how often or how much text is entered into the note. Scrolling the note manually with your touch will stop the action from occurring, however that is intermittent and sometimes will scroll automatically as well. This issue will occur on both iPad and iPhone and regardless of the app is used full screen on the iPad or in Split Screen. When the Notes window is not focused and the user is engaging an app in the other split screen window, the Note window does not scroll, only when it is the focused App. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Notes2. Begin to edit the note by scrolling down and selecting text or placing your cursor to enter text.3. More likely to happen with a note which has enough text to enable scrolling of the note.Expected Results: The note body of text should not scroll while editing or entering text and should remain where placed either by scrolling to the place of entry with using touch or with moving the cursor with the direction keys of the Smart Keyboard. Actual Results: The note scrolls on its own without intervention. Version: IOS Beta 10.0(14A5261v) Configuration: iPad Pro 12.9" and iPhone 6S both with iOS beta 10.0

Displaying limited contacts list in UIKit
I have an app that was written in UIKit. It's too large, and it would be much too time consuming at this point to convert it to SwiftUI. I want to incorporate the new limited contacts into this app. The way it's currently written everything works fine except for showing the limited contacts in the contact picker. tvOS 18.3 Beta Bug
Hello :-) I‘m not entirely sure, if I‘m on the correct Place here. But I would like to report a Bug with tvOS 18.3 (latest beta) to the Apple Engineers! When maximizing an app, a clear color jump occurs. The home screen is more colorful than the open app! You can easily force this: open an app, e.g. the App Store back to the home screen open the app again now you can see a color jump of the GUI!!! The color becomes paler when the app is open. On the home screen it is more colorful again! The problem occurs with every app! So it is a global tvOS Bug! I can also send an example video if that's helpful! Best regards, Christian :-)

The push notification icon is still displaying the old version
Hello guys, We have updated our app icon, and it is correctly reflected in our app build and assets. However, the push notification icon is still displaying the old version for some users. ✅ We have verified that: All icon assets in Assets.xcassets match the new icon. The app icon has been updated in Info.plist. The app has been resubmitted and approved on the App Store. ❌ However, some users still see the old notification icon, even after reinstalling the app. Restarting the device does not always resolve the issue. Could you provide insights into how iOS caches notification icons and how we can force a refresh for all users?

Payment completed with error: Error Domain=ASDErrorDomain Code=500
I would like to inquire about an error that has started occurring while debugging AppStore billing. (In sandbox environment) This error occurs after entering a password and completing the purchase process, and in this case, no completion alert appears. The error doesn't seem to depend on the purchase item, sandbox account, or device, and shows unstable behavior - sometimes succeeding and sometimes failing. Additionally, this error started occurring after special debugging where the network was disconnected during the purchase process. Moreover, the same error occurs in the TestFlight version of our already released normal (supposedly) version. I think this might be a sandbox-specific error where the system has temporarily become unstable, but what do you think? If so, how can I resolve this issue? I would appreciate your insights on the cause and appropriate response. Error details below: <SKPaymentQueue: 0x283b3d070>: Payment completed with error: Error Domain=ASDErrorDomain Code=500 "(null)" UserInfo={NSUnderlyingError=0x28364d770 {Error Domain=AMSErrorDomain Code=305 "Purchase Failed" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Purchase Failed, AMSStatusCode=200, AMSServerPayload={ "cancel-purchase-batch" = 1; customerMessage = "Unauthorized_message"; failureType = ""; "m-allowed" = 0; pings = ( ); }, NSLocalizedFailureReason=Server canceled the purchase}}, storefront-country-code=JPN, client-environment-type=Sandbox}

Urgent: Locked Account Holder – Need Help
Hello Apple Developer Community, I need some assistance with my account. I created a new developer account for a new project I am working on, and paid the apple developer fee. Everything was working fine for a few weeks, I was able to get my app on TestFlight and invite testers to it, as well as push updates and get feedback. The testers were family/business partners. As of a few days ago, I was locked out of my account. I first tried resetting my password, and was then met with an email claiming my account was locked with no additional information. I am trying to understand how I can either unlock my account, or transfer my existing app to a new account, so that I do not have to bother my users with downloading a new app. Additionally, I would like some help in understanding how I can safeguard myself from this issue in the future, especially given this would not be fun if my app were published. Could anyone please assist me, provide me with any advice, or point me to a place where I could get support? I spent 25 minutes on the phone with apple support, and was treated excellently as I've come to expect of Apple, but unfortunately was not given any help as the support did not have additional information. I'm hoping I'm asking in the right place, and can get some help! Thanks in advance, Fritz

Universal Link works directly but not via redirect on iOS 18 and above
Hi everyone, We're facing an issue with Universal Links on iOS 18 and above. The problem seems related to how iOS handles redirects before reaching a Universal Link. ✅ Working Link (direct): When we open this direct Universal Link, the app opens as expected: 👉 https://dl.punchh.com/deeplinks/logansroadhouse/ ❌ Not Working (redirected link): This marketing/tracking link eventually redirects to the above Universal Link, but on iOS 18+, it opens the App Store or a browser instead of the app: 👉 https://ip2.loyalty.logansroadhouse.com/ls/click?upn=... The same redirect link works fine on iOS 17 and below — it opens the app.

AR WorldMap Relocalization for Identical houses.
i have a specific requirement as below. i have apartments in which i have 4 units and each unit will be of same layout. furniture etc.. might change but not walls and layout as far as i know. Step1: Now i will enter into one unit, scan the entire unit and save it using RoomPlan Api and at the end of the scan i will be saving the worldmap as well. Step2: i want to use the previously saved worldmap and enter into another unit and want to relocalize with only walls because the furniture might be different. is that possible. if not is there any otherway to achieve this functionality? i really appreciate you valuable time. Thankyou.

MDM Behind Nginx SSL Cert Issue
I'm trying to make my own MDM server and I'm having trouble allowing nginx to proxy the connection. The web app I'm making can accept http requests so I require nginx. I'm using a certificate from letsencrypt. Every time I try to enroll a phone it instantly rejects at nginx. I have tried multiple cipher options in nginx. I found the following link and my cert supports all except the DHE ones but they say you only need 1. CoreData error: SQLCore dispatchRequest: no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS. I/O error opening
Issue with SwiftData: “no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS” and SQLite I/O error on app launch Hello, I’m encountering persistent errors with SwiftData in my SwiftUI app related to Core Data’s underlying SQLite database. Despite defining my models correctly, the app fails to initialize the persistent store, throwing the following error on startup: CoreData error: SQLCore dispatchRequest: no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS. I/O error opening database at /.../default.store. SQLite error code:1, NSSQLiteErrorDomain=1. File “default.store” couldn’t be opened. Context The error only appears concerning my AppSettings model. I have another model, LocationPoint, which appears correctly defined and used. I have tried deleting the app, resetting the device, and cleaning builds but the error persists. The error message suggests the database file is present but the table for ZAPPSETTINGS (the Core Data table for AppSettings) does not exist. Code Samples Main App Entry import SwiftData import SwiftUI @main struct Krow3_0App: App { @State private var userLocationManager = UserLocationManager() @State private var geocodingViewModel = GeocodingViewModel() @State private var locationSearchViewModel = LocationSearchViewModel() @State private var router = Router() var body: some Scene { WindowGroup { LaunchView() .environment(userLocationManager) .environment(geocodingViewModel) .environment(locationSearchViewModel) .environment(router) .modelContainer(for: [LocationPoint.self, AppSettings.self]) } } } AppSettings Model import Foundation import SwiftData @Model class AppSettings { var isMetric: Bool init(isMetric: Bool = false) { self.isMetric = isMetric } } What I’ve Tried Fully uninstalling and reinstalling the app on device and simulator. Resetting the simulator/device. Cleaning the Xcode build folder. Verifying the schema logs which correctly list both LocationPoint and AppSettings. Changing model names to avoid potential conflicts. Adding .modelContainer configuration with autosave enabled. Questions Is there a known bug or limitation with SwiftData concerning certain model setups or naming? Could this be related to how the data container initializes or migrates schemas? Are there recommended debugging or migration steps to resolve “no such table” SQLite errors with SwiftData? How can I safely reset or migrate the persistent store without corrupting the database? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Severe Keyboard Lag in Roblox on iOS 18.4 (Resolves When Low Power Mode is On)
Hi, I’m experiencing a serious keyboard lag issue on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.4. When playing games in Roblox, if I try to type in the in-game chat using the default iOS keyboard, the typing becomes extremely laggy and drops a lot of frames. However, if I turn on Low Power Mode, the issue disappears completely, and typing becomes smooth again. This suggests that the problem may be related to background optimization or system performance handling in iOS 18.4. Open Roblox and start any game with chat input and Try typing in the chat box using the iOS keyboard than Observe serious lag and frame drops and Enable Low Power Mode.The lag disappears instantly. • iPhone 15 Pro Max • iOS version: 18.4 • Keyboard: Default iOS keyboard • Issue only occurs when Low Power Mode is OFF Please investigate this behavior. It’s very disruptive during gameplay and seems linked to performance scaling or system optimization. Thanks! My English is not very good and these are the ones I edited using Google Translate.

Clearing an app’s memory, data etc.
My app works perfectly the first time it is used but when returning to the start after playing the game and playing another it does some random things. I figure it is because the app still retains the previous game in it’s memory allocation? My question is, what is the best way programmatically to have an app start fresh and not have to quit it and open it again?

Read-only file system (Mac OS Extended)
After updating to another beta of High Sierra, my internal hard drive became read-only somehow. I have a user home directory on that and many things have stopped working. I tried re-installing the OS, but it didn't help. I'm out of options by now. Anyone has ideas how can I fix that?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. func requestAccess(completionHandler: @escaping (_ accessGranted: Bool) -> Void) { switch CNContactStore.authorizationStatus(for: .contacts) { case .authorized: completionHandler(true) case .denied: showSettingsAlert(completionHandler) case .restricted, .notDetermined: CNContactStore().requestAccess(for: .contacts) { granted, error in if granted { completionHandler(true) } else { DispatchQueue.main.async { [weak self] in self?.showSettingsAlert(completionHandler) } } } // iOS 18 only case .limited: completionHandler(true) @unknown default: break } } // A text field that displays the name of the chosen contact @IBAction func contact_Fld_Tapped(_ sender: TextField_Designable) { sender.resignFirstResponder() // The contact ID that is saved to the Db getTheCurrentContactID() let theAlert = UIAlertController(title: K.Titles.chooseAContact, message: nil, preferredStyle: .actionSheet) // Create a new contact let addContact = UIAlertAction(title: K.Titles.newContact, style: .default) { [weak self] _ in self?.requestAccess { _ in let openContact = CNContact() let vc = CNContactViewController(forNewContact: openContact) vc.delegate = self // this delegate CNContactViewControllerDelegate DispatchQueue.main.async { self?.present(UINavigationController(rootViewController: vc), animated: true) } } } let getContact = UIAlertAction(title: K.Titles.fromContacts, style: .default) { [weak self] _ in self?.requestAccess { _ in self?.contactPicker.delegate = self DispatchQueue.main.async { self?.present(self!.contactPicker, animated: true) } } } let editBtn = UIAlertAction(title: K.Titles.editContact, style: .default) { [weak self] _ in self?.requestAccess { _ in let store = CNContactStore() var vc = CNContactViewController() do { let descriptor = CNContactViewController.descriptorForRequiredKeys() let editContact = try store.unifiedContact(withIdentifier: self!.oldContactID, keysToFetch: [descriptor]) vc = CNContactViewController(for: editContact) } catch { print("Getting contact to edit failed: \(self!.VC_String) \(error)") } vc.delegate = self // delegate for CNContactViewControllerDelegate self?.navigationController?.isNavigationBarHidden = false self?.navigationController?.navigationItem.hidesBackButton = false self?.navigationController?.pushViewController(vc, animated: true) } } let cancel = UIAlertAction(title: K.Titles.cancel, style: .cancel) { _ in } if oldContactID.isEmpty { editBtn.isEnabled = false } theAlert.addAction(getContact) // Select from contacts theAlert.addAction(addContact) // Create new contact theAlert.addAction(editBtn) // Edit this contact theAlert.addAction(cancel) let popOver = theAlert.popoverPresentationController popOver?.sourceView = sender popOver?.sourceRect = sender.bounds popOver?.permittedArrowDirections = .any present(theAlert,animated: true) } func requestAccess(completionHandler: @escaping (_ accessGranted: Bool) -> Void) { switch CNContactStore.authorizationStatus(for: .contacts) { case .authorized: completionHandler(true) case .denied: showSettingsAlert(completionHandler) case .restricted, .notDetermined: CNContactStore().requestAccess(for: .contacts) { granted, error in if granted { completionHandler(true) } else { DispatchQueue.main.async { [weak self] in self?.showSettingsAlert(completionHandler) } } } // iOS 18 only case .limited: completionHandler(true) @unknown default: break } } // MARK: - Contact Picker Delegate extension AddEdit_Quote_VC: CNContactPickerDelegate { func contactPicker(_ picker: CNContactPickerViewController, didSelect contact: CNContact) { selectedContactID = contact.identifier let company: String = contact.organizationName let companyText = company == "" ? tvOS 18.3 Beta Bug

I would like to inquire about an error that has started occurring while debugging AppStore billing. (In sandbox environment) This error occurs after entering a password and completing the purchase process, and in this case, no completion alert appears. The error doesn't seem to depend on the purchase item, sandbox account, or device, and shows unstable behavior - sometimes succeeding and sometimes failing. Additionally, this error started occurring after special debugging where the network was disconnected during the purchase process. Moreover, the same error occurs in the TestFlight version of our already released normal (supposedly) version. I think this might be a sandbox-specific error where the system has temporarily become unstable, but what do you think? If so, how can I resolve this issue? I would appreciate your insights on the cause and appropriate response. Error details below: <SKPaymentQueue: 0x283b3d070>: Payment completed with error: Error Domain=ASDErrorDomain Code=500 "(null)" UserInfo={NSUnderlyingError=0x28364d770 {Error Domain=AMSErrorDomain Code=305 "Purchase Failed" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Purchase Failed, AMSStatusCode=200, AMSServerPayload={ "cancel-purchase-batch" = 1; customerMessage = "Unauthorized_message"; failureType = ""; "m-allowed" = 0; pings = ( ); }, NSLocalizedFailureReason=Server canceled the purchase}}, storefront-country-code=JPN, client-environment-type=Sandbox}
