Well, these forums are for talking about making software and using apis and that is quite different than talking about using and configuring products. You'll probably get better answers to this type of question over in the Apple Support Community areas.

AFAIK, track IDs should be persistent across sessions. Our engineering teams need to investigate this issue, as resolution may involve changes to Apple's software. Please file a bug report, include a small Xcode project and some directions that can be used to reproduce the problem, and post the Feedback number here once you do. If you post the Feedback number here I'll check the status next time I do a sweep of forums posts where I've suggested bug reports. Bug Reporting: How and Why? has tips on creating your bug report.

If I fetch a library playlist like the generated Favorites playlist via MusicKit like this guard let initialTracks = try await playlist.with([.tracks]).tracks else { return nil } I get a list of tracks like this: ... TrackID: i.e5gmPS6rZ856 TrackID: i.4ZQMxU0OxNg0 TrackID: i.J198KH4P85K4 TrackID: i.J1AaRC4P85K4 TrackID: i.4BPqWt0OxNg0 TrackID: 4473570282773028026 TrackID: 4473570282773028025 TrackID: 4015088256684964387 TrackID: 4473570282773028024 TrackID: 7541557725362154249 TrackID: 4473570282773028027 I save the IDs for later use, but when I want to fetch them, only the ones with ids that starts with i. work. static func getLibrarySong(from id: String) async -> Song? { var request = MusicLibraryRequest() request.filter(matching: .id, equalTo: MusicItemID(id)) do { let response = try await request.response() return response.items.first } catch { ... } } Or the Apple Music API endpoint : static func getLibrarySongFromAPI(with id: String) async -> Song? { guard let url = AppleMusicURL.getURL(f
Hi @sandeshfromstrykerAI Our engineering teams need to investigate this issue, as resolution may involve changes to Apple's software. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could open a bug report, include a sysdiagnose (you can find instructions for capturing a sysdiagnose here), and post the FB number here once you do. AppleScript for the Music app no longer supports the current track event. Before macOS Tahoe, running the following script in Script Editor would return the current track information: tell application Music return name of current track end tell However, when I run this script on a device with macOS 26 Tahoe, I receive this error: Result: error Music got an error: Can’t get name of current track. number -1728 from name of current track” I've tested this extensively, and here are my findings: Going to the “songs” tab and playing something from there makes everything work. Playing any song directly will make it work with current track UNLESS this song is NOT in your Music library (either added through Apple Music or uploaded). If you play a song not in your library, current track is not updated even if you clicked on it specifically. Playing an album (in your library obviously) makes all the tracks within it appear in current track until autoplay takes over. Any autoplayed track won’t appear in current
Thanks for the post. Your inquiry appears to pertain to a developer account and looks like you already talking to the developer Apple Support team that created those limits. I would recommend to file a enhancement request. If you'd like us to consider adding the necessary functionality, please file an enhancement request using Feedback Assistant. Once you file the request, please post the FB number here. If you're not familiar with how to file enhancement requests, take a look at Bug Reporting: How and Why? I trust you will achieve a favorable resolution. I extend my best wishes for your success. Albert Pascual

Hi Community! I have enrolled for an Apple Developer Account. Only 4 hours left until the 48-hour deadline runs out. On the account page it says pending in orange when I click on my name, but it also says that I need to complete payment. I have received an invoice and receipt from Apple confirming that it’s paid, so I’m not planning to pay again. Does this sound like everything is correct and I can just look forward to it, or does it sound like something is wrong? From people’s experience here, does it often take more than 48 hours? Petter

Simple question - on iOS 26 ContactAccessButton does not appear to show any UI when attempting to search for a contact in either the contact access picker on the ContactAccessButton. This behavior occurs in the Apple provided sample code , as well as a basic example: struct ContentView: View { @State var searchText : String = var body: some View { VStack { TextField(Search, text: $searchText) ContactAccessButton( queryString: searchText, ignoredEmails: nil, ignoredPhoneNumbers: nil, approvalCallback: { identifiers in print(identifiers) }) } .padding() } } Am I doing something wrong or is this just not working?
@Someone-Hates-Monday See Provisioning profile missing com.apple.developer.in-app-purchase entitlement for a response. Errors: Missing com.apple.developer.in-app-purchase, com.apple.developer.in-app-purchase.non-consumable, and com.apple.developer.in-app-purchase.subscription entitlements. Apple doesn't support any of the above strings as entitlement.

I submitted for the first time my app and in app subscription together. do the subscriptions get approved separately? it seems like a loop. in the paywall of my app only for apple its failing to load payments/subscription info which im assuming to be the fact that my in app subscription didn't get approved yet, its currently waiting for review (first time submitting subscription). Meanwhile the app gets rejected multiple times because the reviewer can't seem to go beyond the paywall due to failure to load payments. Is this the similar experience anyone had? Do you have info that'd be helpful to give to the reviewers?
revenuecat is asking for the in app subscriptions to be approved first in order for the pay wall to display and function properly, but apple support keeps flagging them as developer action needed and complaining that they can't access in app subscriptions. what do I do?
