Watch App Terminates Only in Testflight
Hi- I have a Watch App (written in Swift) in the App Store that had been working fine which I had to make some changes to make compatible with Swift 3. The thing that has me pulling out my hair is that in Testflight, the app will quit after showing the UI on the Apple Watch (running WatchOS 3.0) for a 2 to 3 seconds. That never happens in the simulator nor running the same debug build on a real Apple Watch (running WatchOS 3.0). I've tried to get Apple Developer support to help but they said they can only assist with code-level issues. If anyone has encountered this or has any recommendations I would really appreciate the help!

In-App Purchase works in TestFlight but not after Distribution
Good Day, This is my first app with In-App Purchase (IAP) for three simple consumable products. Ad For 1 Month, 2 Months and 3 Months. It works fine in Xcode and in TestFlight. App was approved and was automatically placed in App Store for distribution on July 25 morning. App publishes user's first ad free, by-passing StoreKit. but 2nd Ad onwards goes thru IAP. App works fine except screen with 3 consumable products/prices is not being displayed. Means IAP is not available in the distributed App whereas it all works fine in TestFlight. I googled, checked documents, asked chatGPT and submitted a question to Support (waiting for response). I don't know what I am missing. I read that it takes a day or two for IAP to work in App Store. Will appreciate any help. Thanks.

Hi, We've filed an appeal to our request for unlisted app distribution, we submitted this several weeks ago and have not had a response yet. How long does this process normally take? Our app id is: 6639616450 Could someone please help us to get our app distributed with unlisted app distribution, as we made our app suitable for a wider audience? Best regards, Dennis Jacobs

Testflight app crashes on ios 16.6 but not on 17.1
Hi everybody, i have a problem with my application. I have a mac m1 and i have installed sonoma at 14.0, and i have my iphone 12 at 17.0.3. On my mac i have an xcode version at 15.0.1 ( 15A507 ) with installed the iOS 17.0.1. I have released my app on testflight and on my device it's correctly working, while on an Iphone 13 pro max with iOS 16.6.0 the app it's crashing. I tried to install on my mac the sdk for ios 16.4, clean and rebuild the app on a iphone 14 with ios 16.4 and release the app on testflight. On my pc the app with the simulator it's correctly working, on my iphone with iOS 17 it's working, on the iphone with 16.6.0 it's not. Whenever i build i click on 'Any iOS simulator Device ( arm64, x86_64 ) and the build target is iOS 12 If you need anything else feel free to ask. Thank you in advance!

App icon not showing in TestFlight and App Store Connect, but visible on device
Hi everyone, we are currently facing an issue with one of our apps regarding the new icon requirements in iOS 26. • We created the app icon using Apple’s Icon Composer. • On the device, everything works perfectly: the app icon is shown on the home screen, and it can also be customized with the new iOS 26 features (colors, transparency, etc.). • However, in TestFlight the app icon is not displayed at all (in the TestFlight app on the device). • In App Store Connect, the icon is also not shown in the overview for the app. Interestingly, within the list of TestFlight builds in App Store Connect the icon is visible. What we have tried so far: • Created an archive and manually uploaded it to App Store Connect → no icon in TestFlight. • Took the working Icon Composer asset from another app target where everything works correctly, deleted the old one in this project

Unable to install TestFlight build after app was removed from sale
I'm frantically trying to update five mobile applications that have been neglected for way too long, managed to get an update published for the first one just last month, but now I'm stuck trying to release an update for the second one. The only real difference in the overall process between these two is that the first was not removed from sale by Apple's automated systems, where the second one has been. My app update is built and uploaded to App Store Connect, it shows up under the TestFlight tab, and it shows in the TestFlight app on my iPad, but when I tap Install I get a message that reads Could not install [app]. The requested app is not available or doesn't exist. The app in question works with proprietary hardware that I cannot send to Apple for the sake of their internal review process, but I cannot make a tech demo video showing the app working on my iPad bec

Change the App name for the Released app is not reflected in the next Testflight build
For the App which already in Ready For Sale state having one name. When upgraded the app with new version and changing the app name to different, the new name is not showing in the Testflight build. It showing the old name only. To reflect the new name in Testflight build what should we do? Is that reflect only after Appstore submission and reviewed from Apple? Could you please clarify this?

Setting up TestFlight - student apps ?
Hello - I am trying to assist a high school programming class with app testing - they are building apps in xCode 14 on MacBooks - they also have iPads. After lots of googling on trying to send their finished apps to iOS devices via USB cable, etc and bypassing need for Apple Developer account I am stuck. Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated on how I could possible set up one paid developer account and do each app build in this account then share the apps via TestFlight? Does this sound like it would work? Is there some documentation online that would cover the steps on this process? THANKS

Testing iOS 9 app with TestFlight (Feb 2021)
I have a library that I've written that I want to support iOS 9+ so I've created a new application and submitted it for TestFlight. However, on the iOS 9 device that has been freshly installed with iOS 9.3.6 when I go to download Test Flight, it says Unable to Purchase TestFlight is not compatible with this iPhone. Is there any way to get iOS 9 apps tested on a physical device in Release mode, either through TestFlight or any other means (other than jail-breaking)

If instead, after installing, go to the icon on the home screen and click on it, App works fine. Our app got rejected by Apple few times for the same reason. They are seeing grey screen.Any ideas, whats the difference between launching app using 'open' in testflight ( or appstore) VS clicking on my app icon on home screen. Thanks

After uploading a build to App Store Connect (.pkg) and clicking on the app to enter the app management, the TestFlight tab is missing. There is no documentation about what to do when the tab is missing -- it's as if it's always supposed to be there. The only tabs available are App Store, Features, and Activity. Please help. Reply to App Store and Encryption
Just because it uses encryption doesn't make it export controlled. As I said above, Apple is only concerned about export of encryption technology that's not already avaliable to the ENTIRE world.
